Looking for the best crewed catamaran charter in the BVI? We’ve handpicked our 10 top recommendations from firsthand experience and client feedback, and ranked them by how often we book each one.
Broker insight
This is simply our ten favorite catamarans in the BVI, across the whole price range from value boats to the top of the market. We do not rank them on spec sheets. What earns a place is repeat charter success, the cats we have watched season after season deliver happy clients, well-run weeks, and crews that hold their standard year in and year out. When a boat stays this good for this long, it belongs on the list.

1. TRYST
Booked 16 times with us
Tryst is the boat we’re most excited about right now, and our broker John felt the same after a week aboard: “I’d book this yacht all day long if I could.” She’s a 2024 Moon Yacht, a spacious 65-foot catamaran that takes up to 11 guests across five cabins.
She comes with a jacuzzi, a beach-club swim platform and Seabobs, and she is the catamaran on this list we book most. Ask early, because she books out well in advance.
2. AEOLUS
Booked 7 times with us
Aeolus is the one we reach for on milestone trips, the kind of week people talk about for years. One family chartered her for a 30th anniversary with their grown kids and filled the guest book: “so much love, laughter, and crazy activity every day.”
The food draws its own praise, with chef Jamison singled out again and again, and there’s real energy aboard, from daily watersports to kitesurfing for the more active guests. If you’re marking something special and want a crew that makes it effortless, Aeolus is hard to beat.
3. C’EST LA VIE
Booked 5 times with us
C’est la Vie is one of the best-value catamarans we charter in the BVI, and she’s kept spotless, with the kind of consistent upkeep that tells you her owners care. She’s a smart pick for a family or a group of friends, with an experienced crew that lands a nice balance of professional and down-to-earth.
As her captain puts it: “Sailing is nice, but in the end you’re here to see the islands. If I can get you to the next island in 20 minutes rather than an hour, you really maximize your time.” That mindset is exactly what makes a week aboard her feel effortless.
4. DO MORE
Booked 4 times with us
Do More is exactly what she sounds like: the catamaran we’d steer active, fun-first groups toward. A 2024 refit gave her a sharper, more high-end look, and her owners added a third crew member, so the service has stepped up a level.
What stands out is the crew’s energy. They throw themselves into getting guests onto the water and into the day, and yes, the Bloody Mary is worth writing home about. Few boats in this range match the effort her team puts in.
If your group wants a week of watersports and easy good times, this is the one.
5. MARIA THERESE
Booked 3 times with us
Maria Therese is for guests who like their luxury understated. She’s minimalist and done in genuinely good taste, more like a modern New York apartment at sea than a typical charter yacht, and she carries the presence of a much larger motor yacht.
Our favorite detail is the quiet: thanks to a 100kW battery bank, nights onboard are completely silent, with no generator hum over dinner or while you sleep. For a couple or family who want calm, clean design, and a genuinely peaceful week on the water, she’s an easy recommendation.
6. XANDROS
Booked 3 times with us
Xandros is one of the best-value catamarans on our BVI list. She’s a 65-foot Lagoon for 8 guests with a crew of three, one more than most cats her size.
She is fully equipped for diving, and two dives are included for certified guests who want to get under the water.
For a group that wants a third crew member and diving without stretching the budget, Xandros is an easy one to recommend.
7. NO INHERITANCE
Booked 2 times with us
No Inheritance is one of the best-value all-inclusive catamarans we charter in the BVI, and she’s built for groups who actually want to do the islands. She’s a comfortable 2023 Bali cat with smart touches throughout, sleeping 10 guests in five cabins with a crew of two.
A week aboard covers the BVI favorites: floating at the Soggy Dollar, hiking to the Bubbly Pool, snorkeling Norman Island’s caves, and night swims lit up with bioluminescence.
A brilliant pick for an outgoing family or group of friends.
8. ENDLESS HORIZON
Booked once with us
Endless Horizon is our pick when a group wants big-cat luxury that actually looks the part. Step aboard and the interior feels straight out of a magazine: clean modern lines, marble finishes, and genuinely usable space everywhere, from the flybridge and foredeck to the cockpit and saloon.
She carries a crew of four, one more than most catamarans, so a family or bigger group can easily split up, with adults and kids each doing their own thing.
Polished without feeling stiff, she delivers that unmistakable big-catamaran calm. A standout for guests who want style and comfort in equal measure.
9. PALOMA
Booked once with us
Paloma is our go-to for families, and she’s set up for them in all the right ways. She pairs a luxurious master suite with a clever four-bunk cabin, so parents and kids each get their own space without giving up comfort.
The toy lineup keeps everyone busy, led by Harry the purple hippo, a guaranteed hit with younger guests. What really lifts her is the crew: attentive, warm, and completely dialed into what each group needs.
If you’re chartering with kids and want a boat that makes it easy, Paloma is a standout.
10. SIETE MARES
Siete Mares is one of the most beautifully finished yachts we charter in the BVI, with a style that’s well executed from bow to stern. She took Best in Show for her size class at the 2025 BVI charter yacht show.
She is a 2025 Lagoon 78 for 8 guests with a crew of four, and she spends the winter in the BVI and the summer in Sardinia and Corsica. If presentation and the little touches are what make a charter for you, Siete Mares is built for you.
