A luxury catamaran charter in the BVI is a real step up, not just in size but in service. These are the yachts at the top of the market: 70 feet and up, four crew, and weekly rates from around $65,000. The jump from a 60ft cat with three crew to a 70ft-plus boat with four is night and day, in space, in the toy garage, and in how the week actually runs.
We have personally been onboard the catamarans below, at the BVI shows and on charter in the Med and Caribbean, and picked them on what they are genuinely like to live on for a week: the layout, the crew, the food, and the details that do not show up in a brochure. Where a yacht is exceptional value or does something the others do not, we say so.

This is the top of the catamaran market, and the step up is real. At 70 feet and up with four crew you cross into a different level of space, service and finish, the cream of the crop in the BVI. We are onboard AEOLUS for the second year in a row, with high expectations, and she cleared them again. Her real strength is putting on a show. Her crew hosted one of the most memorable yacht-hop parties we have seen, imaginative, beautifully executed and full of energy.
That is what earns her the top spot: not just a gorgeous boat, but a crew who turn a charter week into an experience people talk about long after. If you want the yacht that consistently over-delivers on the fun and the hosting, she is our number one.
2. NAUTI NICKEL

We are onboard NAUTI NICKEL for the second year running, and she is still one of the most impressive luxury catamarans in the Virgin Islands. The style is spot on: unique, tasteful, and immaculately finished.
She is a rare find, built in 2022, sleeping 10 guests with 5 crew, and cleared to charter in both the BVI and USVI, which opens up the itinerary. The salon feels like an upscale villa, with leather, sleek lighting, and a custom backlit bar that pulls you straight in, that ideal mix of open, cozy, and cool.
The flybridge is a full-on entertaining space, and the whole boat is set up to host. If you want a current, beautifully finished cat with dual-territory flexibility, she is near the top of our list.
3. MIIA
MIIA is the biggest and newest catamaran on this list: a 2026 Sunreef power catamaran of almost 88 feet. She has five cabins for ten guests, a king master, three doubles and a twin, plus a deck jacuzzi and stabilizers that keep her steady underway.
Her rate is all-inclusive, which is rare at this size. Food, drinks and the usual extras are in the price, with a 5% allowance on top for port fees and permits. The week starts at $110,000 for two guests and rises to $130,000 for ten, or $150,000 over Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.
The toys match the boat: two Seabobs, two eFoils, paddleboards and kayaks. She is the pick for a group of up to ten who want the newest and largest cat in the islands, with one price that covers the week.
4. JAN’S FELINE

JAN’S FELINE is brand new for 2025, and we picked her as the value play in the power-catamaran class: she comes in around $10K under comparable cats while giving you the same motor-yacht-style luxury with the steadiness of a catamaran. That balance is the appeal, economical speed and more usable space. She cruises at 14 knots, so if you want to run the full BVI loop and add Anegada in a single week, she has the legs for it.
She is especially good for families, with the crew and the water toys to keep four to six kids busy all week. A smart pick if you want speed and space without stepping into the top price bracket.
5. MARIA THERESE

MARIA THERESE feels like a floating luxury villa, and she is one of the most high-end catamarans cruising the islands. She is genuinely a three-story catamaran: the flybridge is the main dining area, stunning, with an openable glass wind screen, a big sunbed, a barbecue, and a bar, while the foredeck works like a villa terrace with sunbeds and a jacuzzi that doubles as a hot tub or cold plunge. Where she really sells herself is the water toys.
She carries two floating docks, floating armchairs for a whole floating bar, SUPs, inflatable kayaks, water scooters, a wakeboard, snorkel gear and efoils. She is built for families and friend groups who want to spend the week in the water.
6. OHANA

OHANA is a brand-new 2023 Sunreef 80 and one of the most adventure-ready catamarans in the BVI. She is fully set up for diving, with a certified instructor onboard, up to five dives a week for certified guests at $100 a dive, and Discovery Dives for beginners, which is a big draw for active groups. The layout is a standout too: five equal king cabins, so nobody compromises, ideal for groups of couples or friends.
She is packed with features, from the flybridge bar and Jacuzzi to four Seabobs, waterfall showers on the back deck, a cockpit day-head, and underwater lighting. Her Stay and Sail program is a nice touch: guests flying into St. Thomas can start with a couple of nights at the 5-bedroom beachfront Villa Ohana in Magens Bay, twenty minutes from the airport.
7. ENDLESS HORIZON

ENDLESS HORIZON is a 2022 Sunreef 80 with a sharp, modern interior: clean lines, marble finishes, and a layout that looks straight out of a magazine. Every space delivers that big-cat luxury feel, from the flybridge and foredeck to the cockpit and saloon. But looks are the easy part, and where she proved herself was in the running of the week.
Her crew of 4 includes a member dedicated to keeping kids and guests entertained, so the group can easily split up for the day. A yacht that looks this good and is staffed this well is a safe pick for a group that wants both style and a crew who know how to show them a good time.
8. SIETE MARES
SIETE MARES is beautiful and beautifully run, and she cleaned up at the 2025 shows, taking four awards including Best in Show 62-80ft. The styling is the first thing you notice: every table is set with real care, and the interior is styled the same way.
Beyond the presentation she is a serious boat, brand new in 2025, a fast power catamaran capable of up to 20 knots, and run on a 72-hour turnaround so she is always fully charter-ready. If you want a current, award-winning cat with real pace and polish, she is an easy recommendation.
9. BELLDIA

BELLDIA is a 2025 Sunreef that stays in the Caribbean all year, based in Tortola. She sleeps eight in four cabins: a king master, two queens and a front cabin that converts from two singles to a double. That makes her easy for two couples with children, or four couples.
Her guest reviews keep coming back to the food and the crew. The sample menu runs from lobster thermidor and filet mignon Wellington to plant-based dishes, and families write about how well the crew looked after their kids.
She is all-inclusive from $94,000 a week for two guests to $100,000 for eight, or $120,000 over Christmas and New Year. The toy list is long for her size: two eFoils, two Seabobs, an inflatable sailing dinghy, a Subwing, waterskis for adults and kids, and a jet tender.
10. VIVA LA VIDA
VIVA LA VIDA is a 2022 Sunreef 78, and she brings the full Sunreef sailing-cat package to the luxury tier: that open-plan saloon flowing straight out to the cockpit, wide sea views, and the calm, planted feel these boats are known for under sail. Four staterooms sleep eight, two kings and two twins, so she works equally well for two families or a group of couples, with a crew of four looking after the week.
As a sailing catamaran she is the choice when you want the quiet and the motion of actual sailing rather than a pure power-cat cruise, without giving up the space or the finish. At around $93K a week she is priced in the middle of this list, and the Sunreef build quality backs it up. Her owner keeps her to a handful of charters a season, so book early.
