The service style is a capable small crew rather than a six-person hospitality team; if equal cabins matter more than white-glove service, only she and her sister cat VOYAGE 590e, next on this list, deliver it.

6. VOYAGE 590e

The other half of the six-couples pair, and the one we would pick for light sleepers. VOYAGE 590e is the electric version of the same design, recharged by solar and hydrogeneration, which buys you one very real luxury: air conditioning all night without a generator running. She carries the same six equal queen cabins as her sister above, at a lower base rate.

We have booked her too, back in April 2023. Everything else mirrors the VOYAGE 590: crewed all-inclusive as standard, a captain-only option from $37,650, and the same lean-crew service style. Choosing between the two usually comes down to dates, and after that, the silence: if anyone in your group wakes at the hum of a generator, the 590e is the answer.

5. MISCHIEVOUS

The newest and biggest spend on this page: a 2024 Sunreef 80 with a professional crew of four, including a dedicated chef and stewardess. Four king cabins carry the couples on MISCHIEVOUS; the fifth cabin is a twin with a pullman, and that is where guests eleven and twelve go. We booked her at $99,750 for a week in January 2026.

She suits a group where two of the twelve are fine with the smaller cabin, kids, young adults, or the couple who lost the coin toss, and the rest want the flashiest catamaran in the anchorage. Worth knowing before you fall in love: confirm your itinerary with us early, because licensing rules decide which yachts can run which routes.

4. OHANA

The boat other brokers use as the benchmark: when someone asks us for something as nice as OHANA, that is the sentence. A 2023 Sunreef 80 with five king cabins, a rotating crew of six that includes a Michelin-trained chef, and the most serious dive program in this list, run by instructor-level crew with onboard gear. We have booked her twice, at $130,000 and $99,000, both times for groups who wanted the trip to feel like a resort takeover.

Her five kings comfortably carry ten; how the last two guests sleep depends on the configuration for your dates, so ask us and we will confirm with her central agent before you commit. Demand is real: her calendar fills over a year out, so she is an early-booking boat, not a last-minute one.

3. TRANQUILITY

The 12-guest workhorse of the BVI, and the boat on this page we know best: seven DMA charters since 2022. TRANQUILITY is a 76-foot Matrix with six real cabins, one king, three queens, and two twins, meaning all twelve guests get a proper bed and four couples get a proper double. The crew of four includes a dive-instructor captain who runs diving straight off the boat.

She suits mixed groups: couples plus singles, families with teens, celebration trips. She is also the boat we point at groups who want the trip to be fun, not formal: themed nights on deck, disco, sailor night, movie night with popcorn, complete with a smoke machine and proper speakers. The caveat is the same as her selling point, she books out fast precisely because so few boats do what she does.

2. ATLAS

A 60-foot Heysea from 2025 with the layout that quietly solves most 12-guest math: ATLAS has five queen cabins for the couples plus two single cabins, real ones with real beds, for the kids, teens, or the friend who came solo. No pullmans involved. We have booked ATLAS five times in her first two seasons, and we have already placed nine more weeks across her three identical sisters, Viridian, Audacity, and Tupelo Honey, arriving for 2027.

Our take from time aboard: she is at her most comfortable as a 10-guest boat and workable at 12, so we match her to groups where the last two are children rather than full-size adults. 1. Destiny Unbound

The boat we have booked more than any other on this page: eight DMA charters since 2024, and our own broker team spent five days aboard Destiny Unbound on a familiarization trip, so this recommendation comes from sleeping in the cabins, not reading the brochure.
