If you’re planning a luxury catamaran charter in the BVI, this is the tier we recommend. These yachts are 70ft and up, come with 4 crew, and start at around $60,000 per week. It’s a meaningful jump – not just in size, but in service. The difference between a 60ft yacht with 3 crew and a 70ft+ yacht with 4 is night and day.

We’ve personally reviewed these boats with our team, and these are the ones that deliver the best value at the 60k+ price point.

10. MARIA THERESE

Onboard luxury catamaran MARIA THERESE in the Virgin Islands – a yacht that completely feels like a floating luxury villa! She is no doubt one of the most high-end catamarans cruising the Islands.

The flybridge is the primary dining area. It’s stunning. It has a front glass screen for wind protection that can be opened. Big sunbed, barbecue, and bar. This is not just a flybridge lookout; she is truly a 3-story catamaran.

The foredeck is like a villa terrace, with sunbeds and a jacuzzi that can be a hot tub or a cold plunge.

Last but not least, MARIA THERESE stores an incredible amount of water toys: 2 floating docks, lots of floating arm chairs to set up a whole floating bar, SUP boards, inflatable kayaks, water scooters, wake board, snorkeling, efoils, and a jet drive.

She is set up for families or friend groups who want to spend their time enjoying the water! Big seller!

9. CARTOUCHE

I was onboard CARTOUCHE in Sanremo, Italy earlier this year, and she truly stands out. She charters in the Mediterranean during the summer and the Caribbean in the winter, and has built a strong reputation with an impressive track record of happy clients.

At 95 feet, CARTOUCHE is the largest catamaran available for charter in the Virgin Islands, offering exceptional space and comfort. What really makes her such a great value is the price point—chartering at around $70K, she delivers far more yacht than smaller options. That’s significantly more yacht than many 80ft Sunreefs chartering in a much higher bracket ($90K–$100K).

Although built in 2011, CARTOUCHE was refitted just 2 years ago, so she feels fresh and updated. Her flybridge is a highlight – spacious with a Jacuzzi in a setup you’d usually expect on a motor yacht. Up front, the foredeck trampolines include a swim ladder that lowers right into the water – super convenient and a standout detail. She’s also an excellent performer under sail, making her a fantastic choice for guests who want a true sailing experience, not just a floating villa.

8. SIETE MARES

Onboard luxury catamaran SIETE MARES in the BVI. They do half the year in the Caribbean and the other in the Mediterranean.

The boat is absolutely beautiful, and the style is well executed. The yacht hostess Sarai Ben Ari won this year’s tablescape competition with her Nordic theme – something I have never seen before, and instantly took me back to my childhood in the countryside of Denmark.

But that is not all, SIETE MARES won a whole 4 awards this year (2025), including ‘Best in Show 62-80ft,’ ‘Best Flavoured Water,’ and ‘Best Desert’ – This leaves us no doubt that SIETE MARES is a great boat.

Other upsides worth mentioning: SIETE MARES is very spacious, brand-new (2025), a fast power catamaran capable of up to 20 knots, and has a turnaround time of 72 hours, which guarantees she is completely charter-ready for her guests.

7. X MOTION

I was onboard XMOTION in Split earlier this year and had an amazing lunch with Chef Mladen–he nailed it, managing gluten-free and vegan needs without compromising on flavor or presentation. Everything looked and tasted incredible.

The yacht is clean and stylish, with a soft grey theme, an electric fireplace, and that signature Sunreef open-plan saloon. It feels like a floating beach villa, with 360° views and no clutter. The bow is a proper highlight, with huge trampolines, a deep lounge sofa, and that full open-to-the-sea vibe. The hydraulic beach deck at the back makes getting in and out of the water super easy.

XMOTION charters in both the Med and Caribbean, and she delivers—great layout, great crew, great food.

6. JAN’S FELINE

Onboard catamaran JAN’S FELINE in the BVI. A brand-new boat built in 2025 – the most recent in the line.

I have selected JAN’S FELINE because she is a fast and luxurious power catamaran at 10k lower price than other cats in her class. She is for people who want a motor yacht luxury experience in the comfort of a steady catamaran. It is the perfect balance – economical speed and more space.

She cruises at 14 knots, so if you want to make the full BVI loop and perhaps include Anegada in one week, JAN’S FELINE is a solid choice.

JAN’S FELINE speaks to families – parents with 4-6 kids. Crew and water toys to entertain them.

5.  AEOLUS

I’m onboard AEOLUS for the second year in a row—with high expectations—and just as impressed. They’ve kept everything that worked and added even more. Their real strength? Putting on a show. Once again, they hosted one of the most memorable yacht hop parties I’ve seen.

Famous for last year’s award-winning French-themed bash, AEOLUS proved it wasn’t a one-off. This year’s party was just as strong–imaginative, beautifully executed, and full of energy. This year, they also added Greece and Spain to their theme, making it a full journey through the southern Mediterranean. The vibe, presentation, and attention to detail show how seriously this crew takes guest experience.

The boat is still immaculate, the crew still polished, and the food? Just tested by our charter expert Mo Pristas—Michelin-worthy.

3. ENDLESS HORIZON

Onboard ENDLESS HORIZON, a 2022 Sunreef 80, and she immediately stands out for her sharp, modern interior: clean lines, marble finishes, and a layout that looks straight out of a magazine. Every space impresses: the flybridge, foredeck, cockpit, and saloon all deliver that big-cat luxury feel.

But looking good is the easy part. The real test is how a yacht performs, and ENDLESS HORIZON delivered. During the yacht hop, the crew hosted a stylish Tahitian-themed cocktail party with beautiful decor, tuna tartare served in coconuts, sticky rum cake, and tropical drinks. It was fun, well-executed, and showed they know how to host and impress.

2. LITTLE GIANT

Onboard luxury catamaran LITTLE GIANT in the Virgin Islands. The one and only Sunreef 88 in the area. She easily competes with large superyachts.

She is impressive in every way – a full luxury retreat at sea. The finish is OCD. Everything is perfect, from the shine of the stainless to how the bedsheets are tugged.

The full-beam master cabin is located at the front with views out over the bow, an en-suite bathroom a few steps down in one of the hulls, and a big daybed platform for reading or for kids.

LITTLE GIANT is the yacht for families or groups who value space and active charters. She comes with all the water toys you could possibly dream of – jet ski, efoil, kitesurfing gear (instructor on staff), and all the rest! Bravo!

1. NAUTI NICKEL

I’m onboard NAUTI NICKEL for the second year in a row, and she’s still one of the most impressive luxury catamarans in the Virgin Islands. The style is spot-on: unique, tasteful, and immaculately finished. She’s a rare find: brand-new in 2023, accommodating 10 guests with 4 crew, and chartering in both the BVI and USVI.

Her salon feels like an upscale villa – leather, sleek lighting, and a custom backlit bar that instantly draws you in. It’s got that perfect mix of open, cozy, and cool. The flybridge is a total standout, with a jacuzzi, grill, bar, multiple seating areas, and a massive shaded bimini—ideal for cocktails, lounging, or catching a game on the TV.

What really sets NAUTI NICKEL apart, though, is her epic toy selection and full-sized chase boat – something you almost never see on catamarans in this region. From jet skis and seabobs to paddleboards, wakeboards, and water skis, she’s built for guests who want to explore, play, and enjoy every inch of their charter.
