SOUTH Yacht Description

  • Inflatable Aqua Bana slide (21-foot drop):
Big, splashy fun for kids and adults, with serious airtime off the stern.
  • Lyft E-Foil:
Try the most popular new toy—quiet, beginner-friendly sessions with crew support.
  • Stabilizers underway and at anchor:
Less rolling at night for better sleep, and smoother cruising between islands.

Resort mode, afloat. SOUTH is a 180ft Heesen motor yacht built in 2012 and refurbished in 2023, with the kind of onboard setup that lets a group actually switch off. Sleeps 12 in six cabins.

Water time is easy. A proper beach club and swim platform keep the traffic moving, and there is even a deck swimming pool when the sea is doing sea things. Zero-speed stabilizers help the boat feel less “boat” at anchor.

Wellness that counts. A dedicated massage room, plus a gym with TechnoGym equipment and a Peloton, gives you options beyond lying down and calling it a hobby. Sauna and steam room too. Short version: you can pretend you are being healthy.

Toys for grown-ups. The 41' Valhalla center console towed tender is the day-boat upgrade, and the lineup backs it up with 2 Yamaha WaveRunners, 3 Seabobs, an eFoil, and a wide inflatable slide with a 21-foot drop. Add wakeboards, water skis, towables, and snorkeling gear, and you will run out of excuses before you run out of toys.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like SOUTH, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($73,750 - $118,000), making the charter cost $368,750 to $413,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Reviews

SOUTH
***January 2024***
“This was our best charter yet. They have a very solid program; you could not go wrong sending clients to this boat. I don’t have anything to complain about even if I really tried. Every person that works on that boat does very well in their roles. They are very very good.”

“Out of all the captains we have had, you can definitely see that Charles has the most experience. He’s picked a really amazing crew. It was a super incredible time.”
