Crew
Captain: Devon Fung Fook
Devon runs the BVI like a hometown neighborhood, reading the water, the mood, and the weather so your days hit that sweet spot between easy drift and sharp adventure. He brings a local captain’s eye and a host’s mindset, lining up anchorages, timing, and island stops so you squeeze the most out of every mile without burning a fuse.
- Native of Guyana; has lived and captained in the BVI for 16 years.
- Professional background includes Scrub Island Resort and his own charter company.
- Has been around boats and the water his entire life.
Gracie keeps the boat humming and the galley throwing flavor, folding Caribbean comfort and clean, bright plates into days that run smooth and unrushed. She reads a table fast, tunes menus to what you actually crave, and still has bandwidth left to back Devon up on deck when the action picks up.
- Native of Guyana and younger sister of Captain Devon.
- Has served aboard SOMEWHERE HOT as Chef and Mate for the past three seasons.
Don runs a tight, relaxed ship: sharp on the helm, loose with the stories, and always pushing to line you up with the best water, the cleanest breeze, and a table worth lingering at.He carries big-boat polish into a private-yacht setting, mixing easygoing charm with the kind of miles that show in how calmly he handles tight spots.
- Started sailing at age 14 in Guyana, the “Land of Many Waters.”
- Moved to the Virgin Islands in 2004 and entered the yachting business immediately.
- Previously skipper of Lagoon 52 catamaran Freedom and Irwin 68 ketch Rhapsody in the BVI.
- Former driver of Guana Island’s owner’s motoryacht.
