The BVI Charter Yacht Show runs from 10 to 13 November 2026 at Nanny Cay on Tortola, with a day at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour. It is the Charter Yacht Society’s own show, held every November since the society was founded in 1982, and it is where the crewed fleet opens its doors to brokers before the winter season.
Eighty-eight yachts are registered, and thirteen of us will be on the docks. From DMA Yachting: William Mc Nally, Chris de Kock, Melissa Rondeau, Susannah Deehan and Klara Braga Jakobsen. From our sister company Amwax Prime: Jess, Ana, Marina, Jean, Lou, Benita, Stephanie and Jonna.
Four days of stepping aboard, meeting crews and tasting the chefs’ work is how we check a boat before we recommend it. Here are the yachts we will board first.
Broker insight
A show week is the only time you can walk forty crewed yachts in four days and meet every crew. The new boats get our attention first, this year the two new Fountaine Pajot 67s and the Sunreef 80. By the time we fly home, every yacht we propose for 2027 is one of us has stood on and whose chef we have tasted.

The new yachts showing: 15 of the 88 are 2026 or 2027 builds
The Charter Yacht Society’s attending list stands at 88 yachts, from 45 ft Fountaine Pajots to 80 ft Sunreefs, and 15 of them were built in 2026 or are arriving as 2027 builds. These are the six we will board first.
NANA MARIE
NANA MARIE is the biggest new catamaran on the list, a 2026 Fountaine Pajot 80 based at Nanny Cay. Eight guests sleep in four king cabins, which almost no catamaran offers, so nobody draws the short straw. A crew of four runs her, and the dive locker is serious: a compressor on board, four tanks, and five dives included for certified divers in a seven-night week. Two Seabobs, two sea scooters, a 16 ft tender with a 90 hp engine and a 58 kW battery bank for quiet nights.
She boards in BVI ports only and spends the summer in the Leewards. Winter rate from $93,000 a week all-inclusive for two guests to $100,000 for eight. Christmas $120,000, New Year $130,000.
Best for: four couples who want equal cabins and a boat that dives.
VELA.
VELA. is a 2026 Sunreef 70 sailing catamaran based at West End, with a crew that chose her from the yard. Eight guests in a king, a queen and two queens that convert to twins. Every cabin has its own TV, sound system, safe and iPad, and the owner specified hotel bedding and robes. Diving is on board with a compressor and ten tanks, three dives included for certified divers. Two e-foils, two sea scooters, four paddleboards, two wakeboards and a 16 ft centre-console tender. She takes pets, which almost no BVI catamaran does.
Winter rate from $79,000 a week for two guests to $85,000 for eight, plus 5% APA. Christmas and New Year $102,000 to $105,000.
Best for: a family with a dog, or anyone who wants a new Sunreef without the 80 ft rate.
ENCORE
ENCORE is a 2026 Fountaine Pajot 67 with five equal queen cabins, the layout groups of friends ask for and rarely find. Ten guests, a deck jacuzzi, and onboard diving with three dives included per certified diver. An e-foil, a tandem kayak, paddleboards, a water hammock and a Highfield tender for ten. The BVI cruising permit and customs fees are in her rate, and she offers a local-fare meal plan with two lunches and a dinner ashore for a lower price.
She boards at Virgin Gorda and will do USVI ports on request. Winter rate from $60,000 a week for two guests to $64,000 for ten, all-inclusive. Christmas $78,000, New Year $80,000.
Best for: five couples who do not want to argue over the master cabin.
Sapphire
Sapphire is a 2026 Fountaine Pajot 67 laid out for two families. Eight guests in a king master and three queens, all ensuite with electric heads, high-thread-count linen and mattress toppers. The port forepeak is air-conditioned with its own wet head and can take two children at extra cost, which turns her into a ten-berth boat for the right group. Deck jacuzzi, and a local-fare meal plan for groups who want a couple of nights ashore.
Pick-ups at West End, Village Cay or Trellis Bay, and she will reposition to St Martin or St Barts for a $3,000 fee. Winter rate from $58,000 a week for two guests to $61,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas $73,000, New Year $75,000.
Best for: two families with young children who want the eight-berth price with room for two more.
SEA GODDESS
SEA GODDESS is the boat we are most curious about: a 2026 solar-electric 60 ft catamaran, one of the very few in charter anywhere. No generator, so no engine hum at anchor, at sunset or at six in the morning, and no fuel stops. Eight guests in four cabins, a wide-beam open-plan saloon that opens to the cockpit, a flybridge with a plunge pool, bar and dining table, a bow lounge for stargazing and a hydraulic swim platform. Paddleboards, a wakeboard, a tube and sea scooters on board.
She is based at Village Cay in the heart of Road Town. Winter rate from $48,000 a week all-inclusive.
Best for: guests who want silence at anchor and care about their footprint, without giving up space.
MISCHIEVOUS
MISCHIEVOUS is the one older boat on our list, a 2024 Sunreef 80 Special Edition, because she is the biggest catamaran at the show and the only one for 12. Four cabins with European king beds and a fifth starboard-aft cabin with a bunk and an extra single, so five couples can bring two children. A hydraulic swim platform, a 16 ft Williams jet tender with 110 hp, and a toy locker refreshed this year: a Fliteboard, a Flitescooter, two Sublue underwater scooters, an inflatable sailing dinghy, a wing foil, a floating trampoline and a jellyfish-net pool.
BVI-based and taking charters through June 2028. Winter rate from $96,000 a week all-inclusive.
Best for: three families or ten adults who want one boat, not two.
What a show week does for your charter
A brochure shows a boat at her best. A show shows her on a Tuesday afternoon with the crew who will run your week. We look at the things that do not photograph: how the galley is stocked, whether the tender is the one in the listing, how the captain talks about the anchorages, what the chef puts on the table at the tasting.
When we come back with a shortlist for your 2027 dates, that is where it comes from.
