Azimut is an Italian yacht builder, founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli. In 1985 it acquired the Benetti yard, and today the Azimut Benetti group builds motor yachts from 9 to 110 metres.
This page counts down the 5 Azimut motor yachts below, from 68 to 118 feet, each of whose listings names the BVI among its cruising areas. The countdown runs from #5, the shortest, up to #1, the longest, ranked by the length on each yacht’s listing. Lengths and rates come from each yacht’s current listing, and guest counts are shown where we have confirmed them. Every rate is the weekly charter fee. The listings’ rate tables add an advance provisioning allowance (APA) of 35 percent of the fee on top, for fuel, food and marina fees, and returns what is unspent after the charter. Where each yacht cruises during your week, and any fee to reposition her, depends on your dates, and we confirm both when we quote. For more Azimuts with rates, see our Azimut charter rate list.
Our guide to BVI restaurants by yacht covers the few dinners worth leaving the boat for. The one our clients ask for most is the beach lobster dinner on Anegada, and Saba Rock and Bitter End make the North Sound the best dinner harbor in the BVI.
