A British Virgin Islands yacht charter is the easiest great sailing week in the Caribbean: short hops between islands, steady trade winds, protected water, and a mooring or a beach bar waiting wherever you point the bow.

Almost every charter starts on Tortola, where the marinas and the airport are, then loops the group at its own pace. The sister islands and Norman sit just south across the channel, Virgin Gorda and Anegada lie east and north, and Jost Van Dyke and its beach bars are usually saved for late in the week. Planning a BVI yacht charter

Most BVI charters run five to eight days as a loop out of Tortola. A typical week boards near Nanny Cay, drops south to Norman, Cooper, or Peter, works east toward Virgin Gorda and The Baths, pushes north to Anegada when the weather is settled, and saves Jost Van Dyke for the back half.
