Yacht Description
Modern Bali, smart layout. NO INHERITANCE is a 54-foot Bali sailing catamaran built in 2023, set up to sleep 10 guests in 5 cabins. It is the sort of platform that makes group time easy, without forcing everyone into the same square meter.
Deck flow that works. The cockpit is built for real meals outside, with teak floors, a large dining table, and a lounge bench. Upstairs, the flybridge earns its keep as the all-day lookout and late-afternoon hangout. Quick reset. Repeat.
Water time is covered. Launch from the swim platform and pick your pace: 2 stand-up paddleboards, 4 sea scooters, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, an inflatable kayak, and snorkeling gear. There is also a rigid inflatable tender with a 60hp outboard for getting everyone to and from the action.
Simple, private cabins. Each guest cabin has its own bathroom with a shower, plus in-cabin sound controls, and the bright main salon brings plenty of natural light through the surrounding windows. Air conditioning and WiFi are on board for when you want the boat to feel like a floating apartment, not a camping trip.

We just finished an amazing week long Catamaran charter through the British Virgin Islands with Captain Owen and Chef Mia. We are a group of 6 - Grandpa and Grandma, Mom and Dad and two teenagers.
Needless to say, our interests vary.
One member of our party has a mild physical disability. Mia and Owen went out of their way to accommodate her needs, provide accessible ways in and out of the boat and dinghy, and made her feel so comfortable. They were so flexible with the itinerary as the week went on. If we expressed interest in something different than our itinerary, Owen simply changed course. He shared personal experience and opinion, and so many interesting stories.
Then there’s Mia. OMG. We didn’t know what to expect, but we couldn’t have dreamt up Mia. Every meal she created was a delicious work of art. We didn’t have major dietary restrictions, but the minor requests we did have Mia handled without batting an eye.We will be following Mia and Owen and hope to sail with them again in the future!

We just finished an incredible 7-day catamaran charter through the BVI as a family of 10, & Owen & Mia made the trip absolutely unforgettable. Owen was the best captain we could have asked for. He coordinated every stop perfectly, from snorkeling spots to driving us around Anegada & somehow also managed to be our bartender, tour guide, & all-around problem solver for the week. His espresso martinis & rum punch became a daily highlight for all of us. He kept everything running smoothly while still making the trip feel relaxed & fun, even though he’d say, “I just drive the boat.”
And Mia. WOW. Every single meal she made was phenomenal. She absolutely killed it from start to finish. Breakfasts, snacks, apps, lunches, dinners, desserts… every bite was amazing. Not only was the food delicious, but it was beautifully prepared & felt restaurant-quality every day. By the end of the trip, we were all joking that we wanted to take her home with us.
Together, Owen & Mia made the boat feel welcoming, effortless, & luxurious. They also kept everything incredibly clean & organized the entire week, which did not go unnoticed with a group of 10 onboard. This trip exceeded all of our expectations, & so much of that was because of the care, energy, & talent Owen & Mia brought to it. We would charter with them again in a heartbeat.

This trip was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
There were nine of us on a charter in the BVI, and from the first steps onto the boat, Captain Owen and Chef Mia made it unforgettable, easy, and comfortable. None of us really knew what to expect going into it, and some of our group hadn’t met before.
Captain Owen was incredible—not just as the captain, but as someone who genuinely loves what he does and really knows his stuff. He shared interesting facts about the islands and marine life and answered all of our random questions.
Mia! I honestly don’t even have words. Every single meal she made was unbelievable. We’re all wondering how we’re supposed to go back to normal life without her cooking. And honestly, I am not even mad that my clothes don’t fit right—it was totally worth it.
We had so many moments that made this trip so special—seeing dolphins, snorkeling at Hammerhead from the boat, diving the Indians, exploring the Baths, and some friendly and competitive games of Rummy and cards.
Owen and Mia kept us on our toes and even helped with puzzles. Owen & Mia didn’t feel like crew—they became part of an amazing adventure together.
Saying goodbye to Owen & Mia was the hardest part of the trip.

Best Family Vacation Ever!
Owen + Mia – We don’t know where to begin. First, thank you for being so welcoming to our kids, from entertaining them every day to making sure each of them were well fed. We cannot thank you enough.
Captain Owen was the star of the show, showing them all the cool stuff and making sure they were safe. Mia cooked meals not only for adults but also for picky eaters. Sometimes that meant cooking more than one meal a night. Our kids have never eaten so well!
Second, the knowledge of the islands and people did not go unnoticed. We had so much to do in each location, even on our rainy day! It was a trip of a lifetime.

We loved our trip to BVI on No inheritance with Captain Owen and Mia!! You are a great team, very friendly and professional, and you had excellent recommendations on activities and local spots to visit! Mia cooked delicious meals with large servings for our two families (10 people) - which was awesome since we have big boys in their late teens and 20’s with large appetites! There was always lots of great food for them to eat at meals and for snacks. We also loved the morning lattes and made-to-order cocktails at night!
Captain Owen took us to fantastic places for great snorkeling, paddleboarding, and wakeboarding! And we loved the special snorkeling boat trip around Anegada so we could visit different coral reefs and make our own freshly caught conch ceviche! Best Christmas ever. Owen and Mia, thank you so much for an unforgettable week on No Inheritance. There is no doubt that the two of you are “the best” on the island. From 5-star meals to rum cocktails that Granny always thought were had too early… thank you for reminding us all what it meant to have a true family vacation filled with both adventure and relaxation. We appreciate all of the superlatives we received and look forward to our future redemption .. “Most questions asked” quickly turned to “ most chocolate eaten”... still learning, but we'll get there eventually! There are not enough adjectives to describe the No Inheritance experience and the first-class hospitality delivered by Captain Owen & Chef Mia. The beauty of the BVI is obviously well known, but the way Captain Owen tailors each day with special adventures, one better than the next, has created lifetime memories. The immense knowledge and relationships Owen has accumulated over 10+ years in the BVI are very likely unmatched. Chef Mia, what a culinary rockstar. This was only her second charter on No Inheritance, but you would have assumed she’s been at it for years. We just returned from our voyage on No Inheritance and as one member of our group said, “this might have been the best vacation ever.” (and we’ve had some good vacations.) The boat was gorgeous. Obviously, rooms are small, and bathrooms/showers were especially tiny, but overall we were certainly pleased with the amount of space on it (plus, who really spends time in their cabins other than sleeping.) We didn’t anticipate that the 9 of us would all be able to be eat in the front of the boat (excuse me, bow) or the back (stern) or that we’d all be able to be up where the captain drives the boat (not sure what that’s called.)
As nice as the No Inheritance is, there is no doubt in any of our minds that Eric and Maddie (I’m not sure how she spells her Maddie, but we’ll got with that spelling) were what made the trip so memorable/fantastic.
Eric was a great captain. He is one of those rare people who has the gift of making things appear effortless when he is undoubtedly putting in a lot of effort behind the scenes. He made the effort to really understand what we wanted out of this vacation. No doubt lots of folks love to go bar to bar (and who doesn’t like a good Caribbean bar?), but that’s not what we wanted to do on this trip. We were with the 9 people we wanted to be with, and Eric managed to take us to uncrowded spots (even during Christmas in July) where the snorkeling, hiking, and water were all fantastic. And, even the day when we did hit the Soggy Dollar, he made sure we got there early, had our pains killed, and were on our way before it got crowded. We were traveling with 4 teens, and he took the time to get to know each of them whether it was keeping Emily from getting seasick, letting Michael help him man the controls, or having Will fish and wakeboard. He seemingly knew all of their names (and all the adults’ names) immediately. Obviously, he’s taking us to places he’s been to and seen many times before, but he made it seem like he was enjoying our discoveries just as we were enjoying them.
Maddie was a fantastic chef. As I said to her on the boat, I expected a cook and got a chef. We were a challenge, and meals were my greatest concern in the month leading up to the trip. We celebrated an anniversary and two birthdays on the boat. And, we had a vegan, a vegetarian, and someone who doesn’t eat fish. We thought that would severely limit our dining options. Instead, Maddie was whipping up a delicious dish from scratch every day (well, several times a day) that met (and let’s be honest greatly exceeded) our expectations every day. Like Eric, she got to know our kids (and all of us) and paid attention to what we ate and what we didn’t eat and adjusted her plans based on that. She was always happy to answer any questions or just to chat in the kitchen.
Simply put, I can’t imagine that there’s a better team out there. While I was impressed with the way they handled their jobs, frankly, I was just as impressed with the fact that they are great people. By the end of the trip, they just seemed like the 10 and 11th members of our traveling party. We talked to them, played games with them, and hiked with them. Now, as we get back to the grind, we miss them.
If you have people deciding among several boats, I’d say tell them to just pick the one with Eric and Maddie on it. And, if prospective charterers want to talk to someone who has traveled on the boat, I’m guessing any of us would be happy to talk to them (while I wrote this, I’m pretty confident that Ana, Linda, and Kevin share the same view). Now that I think about it, Linda is probably the best talker of the group. I’m more of a writer, but you can certainly share this letter with anyone who wants an unsolicited testimonial.

Maddie was a fantastic chef. As I said to her on the boat, I expected a cook and got a chef. We were a challenge, and meals were my greatest concern in the month leading up to the trip. We celebrated an anniversary and two birthdays on the boat. And, we had a vegan, a vegetarian, and someone who doesn’t eat fish. We thought that would severely limit our dining options. Instead, Maddie was whipping up a delicious dish from scratch every day (well, several times a day) that met (and let’s be honest greatly exceeded) our expectations every day. Like Eric, she got to know our kids (and all of us) and paid attention to what we ate and what we didn’t eat and adjusted her plans based on that. She was always happy to answer any questions or just to chat in the kitchen.
Simply put, I can’t imagine that there’s a better team out there. While I was impressed with the way they handled their jobs, frankly, I was just as impressed with the fact that they are great people. By the end of the trip, they just seemed like the 10 and 11th members of our traveling party. We talked to them, played games with them, and hiked with them. Now, as we get back to the grind, we miss them.
If you have people deciding among several boats, I’d say tell them to just pick the one with Eric and Maddie on it. And, if prospective charterers want to talk to someone who has traveled on the boat, I’m guessing any of us would be happy to talk to them (while I wrote this, I’m pretty confident that Ana, Linda, and Kevin share the same view). Now that I think about it, Linda is probably the best talker of the group. I’m more of a writer, but you can certainly share this letter with anyone who wants an unsolicited testimonial.

An incredible experience! The boat is great, but the crew is even better!! Eric and Madison are incredible. They go above and beyond. Food was delicious (Madison) and each day Eric had an incredible adventure planned we could not have been happier with the experience.

Wow! We just finished 7 nights aboard No Inheritance with Captain Eric and Chef Madison, and I don’t know if I can find the words to say just how incredible this trip was. We were four families doing a tandem charter with C Sisters, including 6 teenagers and an 8 YO, with Hurricane Beryl heading west across the Atlantic as we embarked on our journey. We felt at home immediately upon arrival, greeted with champagne and a fresh lobster salad lunch, and we continued to be blown away with their hospitality, gentle nature, and each made from scratch meal and cocktail. My personal favorites included homemade pasta carbonara, fresh mahi and polenta, homemade bagels, pretzel bites and breads, crème brulee and fruit meringue desserts, and the many Aperol spritz and Painkiller cocktails . We had a lot of wind at times from Beryl to the south, but the sails were spectacular with Captain Eric at the helm. Our destinations were stunning, each unique in its own way, including Soggy Dollar and Hendos at White Bay (best part was floating in the crystal clear water), hiking to the bubbly pool on Jost, the kids soccer game on Sandy Spit, Marina Cay floating, the Baths, dinners at Coco Maya and Saba Rock, Hiking to the Norman Island helipad, Virgin Gorda Peak and sugar mills at Cinnamon Bay, Cocktails at Willy T’s, the Dinghy Bar, Quarter Deck at Bitter End and we loved the bushwhackers from Rumrunners. The kids will always remember their night swim under the boat with huge tarpon followed by lights out and stirring up the water to see bioluminescence, tubing and wakeboarding with Captain Eric, snorkeling the Norman Island caves and swimming through the passthroughs at the Indians, and of course their kids only dinner nights followed by trivia or the game Bang with Eric and Maddie! We knew we loved the USVI/BVI, we didn’t know that it could be the MOST INCREDIBLE TRIP with Captain Eric and Chef Madison. They are truly the GOAT at what they do, we may have to book again next year just to spend the week with you both again! Wishing you the very best for your upcoming pre-honeymoon and wedding!

There are no words to describe the week we’ve had on the water with Madison & Eric. The days of peaceful sailing, dolphins, snorkeling, floating, eating and more eating. Sailing and I do not go hand in hand. I get the kind of seasickness that propels me into another dimension. So when my partner suggested we take a trip out to the Channel Islands, I considered breaking up with them. But, she assured me she’d heard great things about Eric and Madison from a friend of ours and to trust that it would be fun. Ultimately, she was right. Maybe it was the killer cocktails Madison made or the fact that she comforted me while I leaned over the side of the boat about to be sick the first half an hour, but I ended up feeling totally safe and comfortable with them as our guides. Eric found a great snorkeling spot for my girlfriend and I stayed behind to snack on the appetizers Madison made and listen to chill indie rock. All & all a fun time. I’m glad we went and thanks to M & E for their support in getting me out there.

Yum…there wasn’t a meal that wasn’t liked all week long. Food is such a fun and important part of vacation and Maddie nailed it. Meeting the needs of a large group, we had 8, is no easy feat and our entire grouped enjoyed the unique and flavorful meals Maddie thoughtfully prepared. I think the real testament is the opinion of our kids - we had 4 kids in tow (ages 8-11) and they ate every single thing prepared, often asking for more! I personally valued and loved Maddie’s true passion for food, quality ingredients, and unique presentation. You won’t go hungry!

While I have sailed on boats worldwide, Eric is one of the most engaging and interesting crew members I have had the pleasure of sailing with. I watched him often anticipate client needs, seamlessly balance helping and giving us space, and pitch in when something needed to be done without missing a beat. He offers great conversations and a great sense of humor, and his kind presence ensures an enjoyable experience for all aboard. I highly recommend this wonderful human.
