BVI Catamaran Charter

New Catamarans for Charter in the BVI: 2026 and 2027 Builds

These are the crewed catamarans built in 2026 or 2027 that list the British Virgin Islands as a cruising ground: 34 boats from 50 to 88 feet, 25 of them in the water this winter and 9 more delivering for the 2027-28 season. We keep this page current as boats join the fleet, and we check the calendars ourselves.

The nine over 65 feet are the ones that go first. Every one of them is booked or blocked for Christmas and New Year 2026 already, and the two 80-footers have most of February and March spoken for. Rates run from about $56,000 to $130,000 a week, all-inclusive, which is what a two-year-old boat of the same size costs. A new build is not dearer. It is just harder to get.

Broker insight

A first-season catamaran in the BVI means new engines, new batteries, a dry bilge and the newest layouts and systems. It also means a boat with no track record yet, so we weigh the crew heavily. Several of this winter's new boats sailed over from the Med after their first summer, and most were booked before they arrived.

Which new catamarans over 65 ft can you charter in the BVI this winter?

Nine boats, all built in 2026. We read each yacht’s own booking calendar on 23 October 2026:

Yacht Built Size Guests Winter 2026-27 calendar
MIIA 2026 88 ft Sunreef power cat 10 blocked through 5 January; 2 to 7 and 20 to 27 February booked
NANA MARIE 2026 80 ft Fountaine Pajot power cat 8 Christmas, New Year and 6 to 15 January booked; leaves for Florida late February
MAGIC MOMENTS 2026 79 ft Fountaine Pajot sailing cat 10 blocked through 7 January; seven weeks booked 25 January to 7 April
NARGIZA 2026 72 ft Fountaine Pajot sailing cat 8 arrives 27 December; New Year and four more weeks booked to mid-April
VELA. 2026 70 ft Sunreef sailing cat 8 Christmas and New Year booked; open 4 January to 25 April
ENCORE 2026 67 ft Fountaine Pajot sailing cat 10 13 weeks booked November to April, holidays included
Sapphire 2026 67 ft Fountaine Pajot sailing cat 8 11 weeks booked November to April, holidays included
LIFE IS NOW 2026 66 ft Lagoon power cat 8 delivery blocked through 15 January; calendar open after that
AURORA 2026 65 ft Lagoon sailing cat 8 10 weeks booked November to April, holidays included

A calendar with nothing on it is not the same as an open boat, and a booked week can still move. We confirm with each manager before we promise dates.

The 50 to 60 ft new builds

Sixteen more 2026 boats list the BVI. Most take eight guests in four cabins with a crew of two, which is the standard BVI catamaran, just newer. Rates run from about $30,000 to $48,000 a week all-inclusive.

The nine over 65 feet, boat by boat

Rates below are the winter 2026-27 weekly rate for the full guest count, all-inclusive, before any APA. Christmas and New Year weeks are priced separately on every boat.

MIIA

MIIA is the biggest new catamaran in the Caribbean this winter, a Sunreef 88 power cat. Ten guests in five cabins, a deck jacuzzi, stabilizers for the crossings, two Seabobs and two e-foils. She works the BVI, the Leewards and the Bahamas, with pick-up in BVI ports only, and she goes to the Palm Beach show in March. Christmas and New Year are blocked; February has two weeks booked and two open.

Best for: two families who want the largest boat on this page and are flexible between the BVI and the Leewards. Winter from $110,000 a week for two guests to $130,000 for ten, plus 5% APA. Holiday weeks $150,000.

NANA MARIE

NANA MARIE is a Fountaine Pajot Power 80 based at Nanny Cay with a crew of four. Eight guests in four king cabins, which almost no catamaran offers, a dive compressor with five dives included for certified divers, two Seabobs and two sea scooters. Christmas, New Year and the first half of January are booked. She leaves for Florida in late February and is back in May.

Best for: four couples who each want a king bed, or divers. Winter from $93,000 a week for two guests to $100,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas $120,000, New Year $130,000.

MAGIC MOMENTS

MAGIC MOMENTS is a Fountaine Pajot 80 sailing catamaran with a Greek central agent and a very full book. Ten guests in a king master and four queens, a deck jacuzzi, a dive compressor with free dives and discover-dives, two Audi e-foils, two Seabobs and even two bikes. She boards in Road Town and does not do USVI ports. Seven weeks are booked between 25 January and 7 April, and she goes to the Grenadines for the late summer.

Best for: ten guests who want a sailing boat with motor-yacht toys. Winter from $96,000 a week for two guests to $112,000 for ten, plus 5% APA. Holiday weeks $125,000.

NARGIZA

NARGIZA is a Fountaine Pajot 72 that splits her year between Greece and the BVI. Eight guests in a king master and three queens, a deck jacuzzi and an e-foil. She shows at Fort Lauderdale at the end of October, crosses, and arrives at Village Cay on 27 December for a New Year charter. Four more weeks are booked through mid-April, then she sails for Athens.

Best for: a group that wants a Med-standard boat for a January or February week. Winter from $68,000 a week for up to four guests to $74,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas $81,000, New Year $85,000.

VELA.

VELA. is a Sunreef 70 sailing catamaran based at West End, and the open calendar on this page. Eight guests in a king, a queen and two queens that convert to twins, a TV and an iPad in every cabin, a dive compressor with three dives included, two e-foils, and she takes pets. Christmas and New Year are booked. From 4 January to 25 April nothing is on her calendar yet.

Best for: a family with a dog, or anyone booking late for February or March. Winter from $79,000 a week for two guests to $85,000 for eight, plus 5% APA. Holiday weeks $102,000 to $105,000.

ENCORE

ENCORE is a Fountaine Pajot 67 with five equal queen cabins, the layout groups of friends ask for. Ten guests, a deck jacuzzi, onboard diving with three dives included, an e-foil and a tandem kayak. She boards at Virgin Gorda and will do USVI ports on request. Thirteen weeks are booked between November and April, the holidays among them; the gaps are late January, the first days of March and the second half of March.

Best for: five couples who do not want to argue over the master. Winter from $60,000 a week for two guests to $64,000 for ten, all-inclusive. Christmas $78,000, New Year $80,000.

Sapphire

Sapphire is a Fountaine Pajot 67 for eight guests, with a forepeak cabin that can take two children at extra cost. A king master and three queens, a deck jacuzzi, and pick-ups at West End, Village Cay or Trellis Bay. Eleven weeks are booked between November and April, holidays included. The open stretch is 1 to 20 February.

Best for: two families with young children who want the eight-berth price with room for two more. Winter from $58,000 a week for two guests to $61,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas $73,000, New Year $75,000.

LIFE IS NOW

LIFE IS NOW is a new Lagoon power catamaran at Village Cay, and her calendar is empty after delivery. Eight guests in a king suite with a walk-in closet and three queens, all ensuite. Her manager has blocked everything until 15 January for delivery, so late January onward is the first anyone can book.

Best for: a group that wants to be the first guests on a power cat and is choosing dates after mid-January. Winter from $60,000 a week for two guests to $64,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas and New Year priced at a 10 and 20 percent surcharge from 2027.

AURORA

AURORA is a Lagoon 65 based at Nanny Cay with a BVI crew and cruising permits in the rate. Eight guests in a king and three queens, one of which converts to twins, children from five welcome. Ten weeks are booked between November and April, holidays included, and she does a St Barts week in February. The open stretches are early January and the second half of February.

Best for: a family that wants the newest Lagoon in the fleet at the lowest rate on this page. Winter from $56,000 a week for two guests to $65,000 for eight, all-inclusive. Christmas $75,000, New Year $80,000.

Why the new boats go first

A first-season catamaran has new engines, new battery banks, a watermaker that has never scaled up and an interior nobody has lived in. The crew usually joined at the yard and know every system. None of that costs extra: the winter rates above sit where two-year-old boats of the same length sit.

What changes is the calendar. The managers of the nine big boats had Christmas and New Year sold before the boats reached the islands, and the 80-footers filled February and March next. The 50 to 60 ft boats are easier; most still show open weeks in January and February 2027.
