About 100 yachts worldwide charter between $450,000 and $650,000 a week, typically 200 to 295 feet, from yards such as Feadship, Amels and Heesen; about 40 of them spend the winter in the Caribbean, where the Virgin Islands are a standard itinerary. These are privately owned yachts, each with her own owner and crew, not a rental fleet. Their calendars are not public, and many cannot be advertised online at all: often the owner simply does not want his yacht shown publicly, and sometimes her manager does not permit online listings. We have access to all of them and can offer every one of them for your charter. Tell us your dates and who is coming, and we send you an individual proposal with the yachts that are actually available, each one inspected by us, with her own photos, crew profile and sample menu.

Motor yachts and superyachts in the Caribbean charter on plus-expenses terms: fuel, food, drinks and dockage are paid at cost through an advance provisioning allowance, typically 30 to 35 percent of the charter fee. We give you the all-in estimate for your week before you decide. At this level every charter is individually negotiated: the fee depends on the week, the itinerary and delivery.

Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.
