Onboard the brand new catamaran WHISKEY SUNSET in St Thomas.

As far as interior efforts go, I would say WHISKEY SUNSET is one of the best looking in her class. The style is very high end, modern, clean and uncluttered. She easily matches the luxury feel of a catamarans 10k more expensive. I am really impressed.

James and Phoebe are wonderful and talented crew. His experience working with high end brands such as TAG Heuer and Calvin Klein is probably part of why WHISKEY SUNSET is so well styled.

Based in Village Cay.

WHISKEY SUNSET Yacht Description

  • Jet Ski:
High-energy island exploring and tow sports, perfect for thrill-seekers and teens.
  • 3 Sea Scooters:
Easy underwater exploring for everyone, great for reefs and longer snorkel sessions.
  • Hydraulic swim platform:
A simple water-level “beach” for safer swim stops, toy setup, and lounging.

New build, smart layout. WHISKEY SUNSET is a 2025 Bali Catamarans sailing catamaran at 55 feet, set up to sleep 8 guests in 4 cabins. Wide beam, plenty of personal space, and no need to play suitcase Tetris.

Easy water access. The hydraulic swim platform turns swim stops into a simple step-down-and-go situation, with an outdoor shower for the quick rinse before you head back into full air conditioning. Simple. Effective.

Decks that actually work. You get three proper outdoor zones: a flybridge with 360-degree views, plus a forward cockpit lounge/dining area and an aft cockpit for meals and hanging out. The galley has direct access to the forward lounge, so snack logistics stay painless.

Toys for mixed ages. Keep the group busy with sea scooters, snorkeling gear, paddleboards, a wakeboard, towable tube, adult and child water skis, floating mats, beach games, and light fishing gear (trolling and spinning, with 2 rods). There is also rendezvous diving by arrangement if you want bubbles without committing to full onboard scuba.

Accommodation

4 queen berth guest cabins each with a private en-suite electric head, stall shower and sink/vanity. All cabins with exception of starboard aft cabin are dry heads.
All cabins have individual air-conditioning controls.
Upper deck includes a lounging and seating space with 360-degree views.
Forward cockpit with lounge and dining area.
Aft cockpit with seating and dining accommodations.
Main deck has a bright and airy main salon (fully air-conditioned) and the galley has direct access to the forward cockpit lounge area.

Crew take starboard mid-ship cabin (twin cabin), but may move to starboard aft cabin on request for $800 fee. Please inquire about availability.

BERTH SIZES:
All queen berths are 5'w X 6'6"L

WHISKEY SUNSET
February 2026
We just returned from the most splendid one-week sailing holiday in the British Virgin Islands, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain James and our incredible cook, Phoebe, made us feel completely at home.

Captain James was calm, knowledgeable, and always attentive, choosing perfect anchorages and giving us the confidence to fully relax and enjoy the journey. Whether we were sailing between islands, swimming in crystal-clear waters, or watching unforgettable sunsets from the deck, every day felt perfectly planned yet wonderfully effortless.

Phoebe’s cuisine was truly exceptional and one of the absolute highlights of our trip. She presented exquisite dishes that felt both refined and comforting worthy of a fine restaurant. Every plate was thoughtfully presented, perfectly seasoned, and tailored to our tastes. She even accommodated everyone’s preferences effortlessly, making each of us feel personally cared for.

Traveling with my wife, our three children, and their spouses made this holiday especially meaningful. Thanks to James and Phoebe’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, we were able to simply enjoy each other and create lifelong memories. It was truly a magnificent family adventure.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better crew or a more meaningful week sailing through the British Virgin Islands. Celebrating my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary on this tandem trip was already special, but James and Phee elevated the experience beyond anything our family could have imagined.

Phee was the absolute loveliest—gracious, elegant, and endlessly hospitable. Every meal she prepared was a work of art: vibrant, colorful, and full of flavor. My favorite meal of the entire trip was her poke bowl—fresh, bright, and absolutely delicious. And her desserts were unforgettable. The rocky road bars and macadamia nut cookies were some of the best cookies I’ve ever had—moist, memorable, and the kind of treats you’d expect to find in a fancy New York bakery. Her warmth and care were felt in every detail, from the beautiful table settings to the way she quietly refreshed our cabins each day.

James was an exceptional captain—calm, capable, and always attentive. He kept the trip running smoothly from start to finish, and his cocktails quickly became an afternoon highlight. His skill on the water was matched only by his talent behind the bar.

Some of my favorite moments came from the places we visited. Our day in Little Harbor was a standout—snorkeling among sea turtles, stingrays, and jellyfish felt magical. I also loved walking along the soft, open beaches of Anegada with my mom and sister, soaking in the quiet beauty of the island together.

We were able to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday during the trip, which made the week even more meaningful. My dad has been bravely fighting a rare cancer called cholangiocarcinoma since last September. After undergoing surgery in December, he is currently showing no evidence of disease—something we are endlessly grateful for—and he will continue regular checkups over the next five years. In so many ways, he is a living miracle. My mom made a beautiful, heartfelt speech to the family that evening, and it was one of the most special moments of the entire trip.

Together, James and Phee created an atmosphere that was both elevated and wonderfully relaxed. The boat truly became a home on the water. We loved the thoughtful touches: the candlelit tables each evening, the personalized Yetis that kept our drinks cool all week, and the fresh towels delivered halfway through the trip that made us feel so cared for. Phee’s quiet gestures—like slipping in to make our beds and tidy our bathrooms—were small acts that made a big difference.

What stood out most was their perfect balance of professionalism and genuine warmth. They joined our conversations with ease and laughter, yet always gave our family the space to connect, reflect, and celebrate together.

James and Phee didn’t just host our trip—they made it unforgettable, in every way that matters. And I hope they know that they now have homes in Georgia, Kentucky, New York, Oklahoma, and Colorado. They will always have a place with us.

We had such an amazing time in the BVI's on the 54' Bali Catamaran with Captain James Cotter and Chef Phee!

I had sailed on the Oceana with my family of 5 in late july and had to go back again with friends!

The attention to detail to customize our week to meet our needs was off the charters fabulous! Sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, sea scootering, paddle boarding, dining, fabulous drinks, great wines, cab ride with Sweet Willie T, Coco Maya dancing, lobsters in Anegada, hiking, The Baths, beautiful sunsets.....

Everyone had the best time and agrees it's the only way to vacation!! Can't wait to do it again!
