Nova has been recently beautifully upgraded and totally refitted in 2022-2023 with brand new Dynema sails, rigging, engines, electronics, dinghy, interior and exterior fittings and new air conditioning, ice maker and much more.

This Roberson and Cane -”Custom Projects Build “and the model Leopard 47 has a superb track record and is a proven seaworthy vessel sailing from Cape Town, South Africa to the Caribbean, and crossing the Atlantic from Europe to the Caribbean. After 7 seasons in the Mediterranean, Nova is now located in the Grenadines and ready for new Caribbean sailing adventures.

Nova crew know the area well, having operated charter catamarans around the Grenadines in 2021-2022. They look forward to welcoming you onboard.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht Nova is a 43 ft sailing catamaran. The most appealing features of Nova are her most appealing features and experienced crew. Nova spends the winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Robertson and Caine in 2000. An elegant refit was completed in 2022-23. The spacious yacht layout features 3 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.

Nova is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

The sailboat features 2x Yanmar 56 hp (2018) engines and a generator.

Accommodation

Three queen cabins with bed size 155cm x 200cm (6.23 x 7.22ft), each with their own ensuite wet heads and safe. All cabins have Air Conditioning available at night. The standing height in the port aft guest cabin is 220cm (7.22ft), standing height in Starboard front and Port front cabin is 205cm (6.73ft)
The crew use the starboard aft cabin with its own heads.

He has sailed throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, North Sea, and across the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to the Caribbean aboard Nova. He speaks -Dutch, English and German. He loves to share his passion for watersports with the guests.

Mariana enjoys infusing healthy, fresh, local ingredients into fabulous international dishes learned from a life well-traveled and with a love of global cultures. Mariana has natural East European hospitality and loves creating special moments for each group of guests aboard. Mariana is fluent in Dutch, English and Bulgarian

location_details: Nova is based in the Leeward islands (Antigua / Barbuda) from November 15th 2024 - May 15th 2025 and then based in the Grenadines for June 2025. The yacht will accept charters from BVI, USVI, St Maarten down to Grenada. Please enquire for relocation charges. The boat doesn't currently have a BVI Charter License.
