KaYachtic Yacht Description
-
Sea scooters onboard:
Premium fun electric sea scooters let guests explore underwater with ease and excitement. -
Wakeboard and towable tube:
Thrilling wakeboard and tube for high-energy water adventures, perfect for family and friends. -
Dual paddleboards & floating mats:
Easy water fun and relaxation on paddleboards and floating mats for all ages to enjoy together.
Silent nights, real sleep. KAYACHTIC is a 2024 Bali 55 built with a lithium battery and inverter system sized so the A/C runs all night with no generator noise. If you’re allergic to sleeping next to a diesel soundtrack, this boat is engineered for you.
Master cabin: straight into the ocean. The full-beam master has dual access – one door to the saloon, one directly to the aft deck, so you can literally roll out of bed and jump in. The remaining queen cabins are full-size with separate shower stalls (read: no wet heads). A fifth single cabin gives you a flexible ninth berth for a child, teen, guide, or that one friend who always “might come.”
Space to actually use. As a Bali catamaran, KAYACHTIC trades gimmicks for volume: wide 55ft platform, solid forward deck with a shaded front bimini for breezy, alfresco dining and lounging, plus a big TV and proper indoor/outdoor social zones. It’s built for a group that actually spends time together on board, not hiding in cabins.
Toys: enough to keep people off their phones. Two paddleboards, sea scooter, wakeboard, towable tube, floating mat/dock, snorkel and fishing gear, beach games, plus an onboard drone for the inevitable highlight reel. Add full Wi‑Fi and you’ve got both playtime and upload time covered.
Chef-level food instead of “boat food.” Your chef/first mate Taylor runs a menu that looks like a small-plates restaurant: crab cake benedict, salmon poke bowls, Korean bulgogi tacos, seafood boils, sous-vide filet, and serious desserts. Vegan and gluten-free options are designed in, not bolted on. The ship’s bar is stocked with a straightforward lineup of well-known spirits, wines, and beers, with the option to pre-spec any premium labels.
Crew that actually sails. Captain Xander and Chef Taylor have logged 60+ charters together in the region. He’s obsessive about real sailing when conditions allow; she’s obsessive about plates and timing. Together they run KAYACHTIC as a tight, two-person operation: lean crew, high guest focus, no cruise-ship energy.
Net result: KAYACHTIC is a 2024, 5-cabin, 9-guest catamaran built for people who care about quiet nights, real food, functional space, and a crew that knows how to use the sails and the toys.
Accommodation
1 master cabin with dual entrances, one to the saloon and one to the aft deck, jump straight into the Ocean from there! The other 3 double cabins are all roomy and spacious, with full bathrooms and separate showers. No wet heads to be seen.
All main cabins have full A/C and the temperature of each room is individually controlled.

Crew
Captain: Xander
Xander walked away from high finance to chase real wind, so he runs KAYACHTIC with the precision of a numbers guy and the instincts of a sailor who lives for killing the engines and letting the rig do the work. He lines up routes that feel relaxed on deck but are timed tight to put you on the best anchorages when they’re quiet and clean.
- Grew up near St. Louis, later based in Arizona and Chicago
- Sailing experience across the Caribbean, Adriatic, and Great Lakes
- Former wealth management professional before moving full-time into yachting
- Fluent in English
Taylor builds plates the way she travels—sharp, layered, and global—so every meal feels like a targeted hit from Italy, Asia, or the islands instead of another generic charter spread. She moves quiet and efficient between galley and deck, keeping you fed, reset, and pointed straight at sunset with a drink in hand.
- Born in Sydney, raised in Los Angeles; has visited 50+ countries
- Studied Art History and Italian Gastronomy & Culture in Florence, Italy
- Professional private-chef experience for a family traveling across Europe and Africa
- Multiple seasons cheffing on charter sailboats in the Adriatic and Caribbean

Reviews
The crew was very accommodating and flexible if we wanted to adjust our daily plans. The food was outstanding! Lots of variety, beautiful presentation. Taylor paid close attention to our preference sheets and we enjoyed every meal. Xander & Taylor were a great crew. They were courteous, helpful, knowledgable, and flexible. We would highly recommend sailing with Xander & Taylor to others.
Thank you for the most remarkable vacation!!! The food was amazing and you could tell it was made with love!!! Xander, the layout of the trip was Great! The girls loved all the little coves. Thank you both for making Ali’s birthday so special. We will have wonderful memories of you all and our trip!!! The girls loved all the special treats from Taylor. Our Hearts are full leaving here today.
What an epic trip! Absolutely fabulous from the food to the adventures, we loved it all. You both destroyed trivia nightly and kept us all laughing. You are true professionals and we will forever treasure the memories you helped us to make as a family. Cheers and happy new years!
She made us feel at home. The food was amazing. Taste, quantity, quality was all taken well care of. She always had a smile on her face which made it even more special. Thank you Taylor!
Xander, your sailing itinerary brought us to so many exquisite island locations. We loved anchoring off Little Jost Van Dyke tucked into a little bay where we faced a tiny island with two cute palms standing side by side. Our starry night with sparkling boat lights while buoyed in North Sound, Virgin Gorda was magical! We loved sailing and returning to Anegada bringing back memories from 35 years ago. Among other special spots and sails you topped it off with a snorkeling destination at the Indians where we found ourselves surrounded by tropical fish of all hues and sizes.
Tay, your culinary talent and offerings were amazing! The presentation is a work of art! We could taste the love in each bite and meal. You outdid yourself with every breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Thank you for all the dietary accommodations. The jerk chicken and jollof rice followed by a gluten free chocolate birthday cake for Gary and me topped off the delectable culinary experience! Your kindness, care, joy, and flexibility made our sailing adventure on Kayachtic’s maiden voyage a dream come true!
Thank you so very much! Xoxo

Taylor, you thrilled me with delicious vegetarian meals that exceeded anything I would do for myself.
Xander, you’re so kind to answer all my questions about the yacht and to go in the water to take pictures of the group. The two of you work effortlessly together and it's nice to see. Lastly, KaYachtic is a well-outfitted yacht and there was nothing we said “oh I wish it had this or that”. It was perfect.
Taylor your amazing meals were above 5 stars, everyone onboard agrees that your cooking was everyones favorite part of the trip! Xander, you are an incredible captain. I have never seen my family have so much fun. Both of you guys are amazing and the best yachting experience we have ever had. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts y’all are now family!
