Complete rebuild refit. IKIGAI is an 82ft/25.1m sailing yacht built by JFA Chantier Naval in 2002 and comprehensively refit at Vitters Shipyard in 2018, to the point she is often described as a complete rebuild. Clear varnished teak inside. It reads clean, modern, and practical.
Sleeps 8 in 3. Up to 8 guests are accommodated across three cabins: a large master cabin plus two twin cabins, with two Pullman berths for flexible family or mixed-group planning. No wasted space, and the saloon and dining area sit amidships where you actually spend the day.
Water time, sorted. The transom opens for access to the tender garage, so getting on and off the boat (and the 13ft/4.2m RIB) is straightforward. Quick swims, quick launches. Less choreography.
Toys with intent. You have a Seabob, kiteboarding equipment, wakeboard, snorkeling gear, and light fishing gear for the “do something” crowd, plus dive sets for competent and qualified divers only. There is also Wi‑Fi and full air conditioning for when you decide you have done enough.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like IKIGAI, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€4,200 - €8,400), making the charter cost €32,200 to €36,400. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

| 3 day charter | 14,000EUR to 16,000EUR | 2,800EUR to 4,800EUR | 16,800EUR to 20,800EUR | The usual formula is the 7 day charter rate divided by 6, times the number of days (3). Boat policy might differ. 28,000EUR / 6 * 3 days = 14,000EUR |

Reviews
However, what made their experience truly exceptional was the crew. From the very beginning, they were attentive, friendly, and accommodating to all their requests and the many guest changes. Their warm professionalism created an inviting and relaxed atmosphere onboard.
The principal guest remarked that it was "the trip of a lifetime," and the other guests expressed their desire to charter IKIGAI again in the future.
Great boat and great experience for everyone, including us, the booking brokers.”
Some of the initial out dining options were not that great but Joren / Lotte found some better ones towards the end. Dining on board was excellent.
We had a great time diving as well.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
