Aeolus stole the show for us at the USVI Yacht Show—and for good reason. The French-themed party during the yacht hop sealed it! Not only did Aeolus win 1st Place for Best Yacht Hop in Show, but she also took home Runner-Up for Best Yacht in Show and Runner-Up in the Mixology Competition.
Our first visit to Aeolus was memorable for an entirely different reason. A sudden downpour had us seeking refuge, and word had it that Aeolus had the best coffee at the show. The rain gave us time to really take in her stunning interior and get to know the crew—and honestly, both were brilliant.
Aeolus is brand-new, built in 2024, and already showing great promise, thanks to her exceptional crew of four: Captain Michael Wilson, Chef Casey, First Mate Christo, and Stewardess Chene.
The layout of Aeolus is fantastic. Her main saloon is open, airy, and feels like a floating palace. The décor is modern, bright, and natural, with meticulous attention to detail. The flybridge and cockpit are spacious and perfect for socializing, and the water toy selection is impressive—including a sailing Minicat 420, a standout feature on a charter yacht.
Now, let’s talk about the yacht hop—what a hit! The French theme was executed to perfection. Stepping onboard, you were offered a chic red French beret or silk neck scarf. In the cockpit, champagne and potent gimlets were flowing, and the dining table was a feast of French delights: croissants, cheese and charcuterie boards, olives, grapes, dips, and more. But the real highlight? The flybridge photo booth, complete with an Eiffel Tower backdrop, fun props, and those French hats and scarves. It was a total vibe and had everyone buzzing.

Big cat, sensible luxury. AEOLUS 77 is a 77ft Lagoon Seventy 7 catamaran that sleeps 8 guests in 4 en-suite queen cabins, built in 2024 (with some listings showing 2019, so we are sticking with 2024).
Outdoor living actually works. The shaded flybridge gives you proper extra real estate with upper-deck dining and 360-degree views. Good for the whole group. Better for whoever wants a quiet corner.
Easy flow, no traffic jams. The bright main salon opens to both the aft cockpit and the forward cockpit for seamless movement around the yacht. Sliding glass doors, alfresco seating, done.
Watersports are not an afterthought. With a 16.5ft tender (100hp), 2 Seabobs, 2 e-foil boards, 4 paddleboards, wakeboard, kneeboard, tube, kayak, snorkel gear, and SCUBA gear onboard, you can go from “quick dip” to “full send” without leaving the mothership.
A master with its own balcony. The standout cabin is the primary suite with a private balcony and an extra-large bathroom, plus a port aft cabin that can convert between twins and a queen-plus setup for families who like options.

Keith and Christo are PADI Dive Instructors. Between the two of them you are in safe hands exploring the underwater world!
Guests interested in diving are required to fill out a medical questionnaire/liability waiver and potentially obtain doctor's clearance prior to coming down to the Virgin Islands. Additionally, certified divers must send a copy of their diver certification card prior to the trip.
Aeolus offers a complimentary Discover Scuba Dive (Resort Course) to guests that are not certified divers (10 year old minimum age). This includes a ~1 hour safety and theory course along with a ~30 minute shallow water dive.
Certified divers can dive up to three times throughout the charter. Additional dives will be up to the discretion of the Captain based on the itinerary and weather conditions.

All E-Learning will need to be completed prior to the charter and we highly recommend completing the confined water sections with a local shop prior to the trip. December 2025 BVI Charter
We chartered Aeolus in December, just prior to the holidays. Upon arrival, we found a magnificent yacht, maintained to the highest standards. The crew, led by Captain Keith, was just awesome, with First Mate Christo and Stewardess Chene taking great care of us upon our arrival. Casey, the chef, was just absolutely fantastic. Every meal was extraordinary, from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
We took part in every activity that the toys and gear allowed us to enjoy. We kept the crew and Captain Keith very busy with all of our activities. We used the e-foil, the sea bob and the sailboat, and the diving excursions were fantastic. The best part of our activities were actually sailing the boat. Keith took great effort to ensure that we got to sail as much as possible on our trip.
The entire crew absolutely spoiled us - they had a positive and can do attitude and approach for the entire trip. We can’t think of a single thing that could’ve made this trip any better. Our sincere thanks to the entire crew and we look forward to our next trip on board Aeolus.

Heaven on the Seas! Wow, it is difficult to imagine a more stellar week on the water. The Caribbean islands and island hopping done to perfection. Thank you Supreme Naval Commander Cottrell for a lights out week! Captain Michael, Casey, Josh & Nicole, thank you for a refined, lovely, gastronomically fantastique and beverage heaven on water. From the underwater scuba paradises to the e-foiling highs and lows, this trip was a flat out blast!! I know you worked tirelessly to feed us and you’re seen for that. Nicole, your service is beyond first class. You treated us like queens and your drinks were the best thing I’ve ever had! Thank you both for being such kind and thoughtful vacation planners, our trip was wonderful. We made a lot of memories together and are grateful for everything you did to make it happen! Here are a few of our favorite memories: Gumption and all he entails: entrepreneur, DJ, Tour Guide, Lemur expert, photographer, and promoter! Michael's pants being assaulted by the chair in Anegada; may they find the courage to be worn again in public. Billy Ocean and Casey's bellowing laughs on Murder Mystery Night. Mom and her lost and found jewelry and hat nearly being blown to Puerto Rico. Of course we will always miss and remember Casey's delicious food. Thanks for being so flexible with us; it's going to be a sad farewell at the end of this vacation. We wish you both well in your next adventure and hope to see you on the islands next season!

We stumbled aboard late, tired, stressed, and excited to start our week. Within the hour we were casually laughing and getting into the groove of the vacation of a lifetime. Words cannot express our thanks for all the delicious food, special cocktails, patience, jokes, and most of all just taking care of everything so we just had to sit back and relax.
