BVI 180 Superyacht Class (or similar)

This is a class listing, not one individual yacht. About 320 yachts worldwide charter between $200,000 and $300,000 a week, typically 150 to 210 feet, from yards such as Amels, Feadship, Christensen, Westport and Trinity; about 110 of them spend the winter in the Caribbean, where the Virgin Islands are a standard itinerary. We can show 68 of them here. We have access to all of them and can offer every one of them for your charter; the others simply cannot be advertised online: often the owner does not want his yacht shown publicly, and sometimes her manager does not permit online listings. Inquire for an individual proposal for your dates. They are privately owned yachts, each with her own owner and crew, not a rental fleet. Their calendars are not public, and some owners do not allow their yacht to be advertised online at all, so those can only be shown to you directly. That is why we present the class rather than one boat: tell us your dates and who is coming and we match you with the best available yacht in it, one we have inspected and whose crew we know. The exact yacht, with her own photos, crew profile and sample menu, is confirmed before you book.

Yachts in this class sleep 12 guests in 6 cabins, including a main-deck or full-beam master, with a crew of 13. Rates start from $200,000 a week and reach $300,000. Motor yachts and superyachts in the Caribbean charter on plus-expenses terms: fuel, food, drinks and dockage are paid at cost through an advance provisioning allowance, typically 30 to 35 percent of the charter fee. We give you the all-in estimate for your week before you decide. At this level every charter is individually negotiated: the fee depends on the week, the itinerary and delivery.

At this size the Virgin Islands become a private cruising ground: a formal dining saloon, a sky lounge with its own terrace, and a large deck team to run the tenders, toys and daily itinerary.
