Offered by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht NAUTI MERMAID is a 53 ft sailing catamaran. The most valuable elements of NAUTI MERMAID are her generous space and alfresco dining areas. NAUTI MERMAID spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the ship builder Royal Cape in 2025. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 6 guests.
NAUTI MERMAID is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.
The sailboat features 2x Inboard diesel Yanmar 80 HP 2x 20 Kw Hybrid Electric Motors 90 KGF bow-thruster engines and a generator.

Captain Mitch, originally from South Africa, is a passionate mariner with a big personality and an even bigger love for life on the water. Holding a 200-ton Yachtmaster Offshore license, he has spent the past three years safely operating luxury yachts ranging from 68’ to an impressive 220’—ensuring every voyage is smooth, secure, and unforgettable.
From an early age, the water has been his playground. Whether he’s at the helm or diving into water sports, Captain Mitch brings energy and enthusiasm to every charter. Safety is always his top priority. As a certified PADI Rescue Diver and Personal Watercraft Instructor, he ensures guests are well-prepared, properly equipped, and confident to enjoy all the onboard toys and water activities.
His sailing adventures have taken him through the Mediterranean, the Bahamas, and the British Virgin Islands, where he’s known for creating exciting, guest-centered experiences. Beyond navigation, Mitch has a knack for entertainment—whether it’s setting up dive gear for certified divers or planning fun activities for kids and families.
With Captain Mitch at the helm, guests can expect a charter filled with adventure, laughter, and peace of mind. His warm personality, versatile skill set, and dedication to guest satisfaction make him a standout leader at sea—ready to turn your voyage into the adventure of a lifetime.
Chef Emma
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Chef Emma Hill brings warmth, creativity, and a deep appreciation for wholesome, flavorful food to every charter experience. Since joining the yachting industry in December 2021, Emma has combined her culinary talent with a passion for life at sea—crafting meals that are as nourishing as they are memorable.
With two years of professional experience in yacht galleys, Emma specializes in healthy, flavor-packed dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. She is well-versed in catering to a variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets, and is confident accommodating food allergies with care and precision. Constantly exploring new flavor profiles and recipes, she brings variety, creativity, and a thoughtful touch to every menu she designs.
Outside the galley, Emma enjoys staying active and cherishes quality time with family and friends. What she loves most about charter life is getting to know guests from all over the world and discovering hidden bays and breathtaking anchorages together—making each trip not just a culinary journey, but an unforgettable adventure.

They had a suggested itinerary, explained it fully, and were willing to make adjustments to it if necessary. We are not an easy group to feed as a group of eight including kids with various taste
preferences, peanut and gluten allergies, etc.. Emma mastered the task completely! Every day offered a new adventure. We swam with pigs, played with the nurse sharks at Compass Key,
saw the iguanas, snorkeled Pablo Escavar's sunken plane wreck. One night in Staniel Key, we all went out for dinner at the restaurant at the Yacht Club. It too was a treat! The best gathering
spot on the Soulmates is the upper deck, the views are great, the breezes are exhilarating, My grandkids on most nights elected to sleep on the comfortable cushions on deck under the stars.
We indeed got lucky with near perfect weather. The Exumas are just amazing and interesting as it offers so much without venturing out in open ocean which insured calm seas. We collectively had a world class family vacation that we will never forget. Please let the owner of the Soulmate know what a tremendous asset his new crew is. They are literally the best !!!

The vessel was spacious and comfortable. Food was abundant and delicious, nightly anchorages were interesting and offered great opportunities for snorkeling and swimming in virtually crystal clear waters. We used and enjoyed all the water toys on board. We collected king conch and Emma made delicious conch fritters and ceviche. Mitch and Emma are the perfect crew for Soul Mates. Both are delightful people and experts at what they do. They had suggested an itinerary, explained it and were willing to adjust it if necessary. We are not an easy group to feed as a group of eight including kids with various taste preferences, peanuts, and gluten, allergies, etc., Emma mastered the task completely!
