Classic 91-foot schooner. TREE OF LIFE is a 91ft/27.7m sailing yacht built by Covey Island Boat Works and delivered in 1991, with a Ted Brewer design. She sleeps 6 guests in 3 cabins, so it stays private, not “floating hotel.”
Aft master, proper space. The primary suite sits aft with a king bed (it can split into two singles) plus an en-suite. Two double cabins sit forward and each has its own en-suite as well. Simple. Logical.
Deck time, not deck Tetris. Expect plenty of room for sunbathing and easy outdoor living, with a bimini for shade and a BBQ for low-effort lunches that somehow take all afternoon.
Toys for real water time. On the water, you have a 15ft/4.6m RIB tender and a sailing dinghy for getting around, plus kayaks, a paddle board, and snorkel gear when you want to stop sailing and start splashing.
Comforts that matter. Full air conditioning keeps nights comfortable, and Wi‑Fi is onboard when you need to check in with land life (briefly).

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like TREE OF LIFE, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price ($5,250 - $10,500), making the charter cost $40,250 to $45,500. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Reviews
The chef went above and beyond preparing some delicious nibbles that were flavorful and creative, along with some seared teriyaki sesame swordfish and a lovely fresh watermelon, arugula and mint salad. She impressed further by finishing the meal with a fresh pear pie with a sugared bourbon sauce. Chef prides herself on making meals for guests with fresh ingredients and providing something they cannot normally get at a restaurant. She takes pride in her cuisine and it shows. Fine dishware and stemware round out the dining experience.
In fact, each member of the crew are so warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and pleasant - guests will find themselves instantly at ease.
The two brand new Douglas fir Masts are impressive, with all new leatherwork, and attention to detail is everywhere, from luxurious bathrobes in each cabin, hand crafted flower vases to replace the outdated 'phone cubbies' previously in place (with fresh flowers always aboard), and brass lanterns hung on deck each evening.
I was able to 'try out' the sun lounges - which are truly the 'best seat in the house' on the foredeck, where you can relax and sunbathe, or read a book out of the way of lines, but still able to take in the scenery.
In summary, TREE OF LIFE offers a great value for a comfortable Schooner - suitable for a family or 3 couples. The two doubles forward do taper slightly - and the crew can put a lee board to separate them to singles for families requiring.“ - Emily Mack
