Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like ANDROMEDA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price ($10,150 - $17,763), making the charter cost $60,900 to $68,513. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Ramón Linderman

Captain Ramón Linderman

For over 35 years, Captain Ramón Linderman has been living his dream on the water. With a 200-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License and a lifetime of experience navigating some of the world’s most stunning and challenging waters, he brings skill, passion, and a true love for the ocean to every voyage.

Born and raised on the sun-kissed shores of Puerto Rico, Ramón was drawn to the sea from an early age. He spent his youth sport fishing and chasing waves as a professional surfer, competing internationally and exploring coastlines across the globe. That deep-rooted love for the ocean eventually led him into the marine industry, where he’s built an impressive career commanding sport fishing vessels, sailing yachts, and luxury motor yachts. Over the years, he’s captained boats for celebrities, high-profile clients, and seasoned sailors alike—all of whom appreciate his expertise, easygoing nature, and deep respect for the sea.

Ramón has an intimate knowledge of the Caribbean, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and South American waters, with favorite ports of call in the Bahamas, New England, and Bermuda. Whether navigating remote tropical islands or charting courses along historic coastlines, he has a knack for making every journey feel like an adventure.

When he’s not at the helm, you’ll likely find Ramón doing what he loves most—surfing, scuba diving, sport fishing, or spearfishing. He also enjoys the thrill of open-ocean racing, having competed in the Newport-Bermuda and Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Races. But no matter where the sea takes him, he’s always happiest when sharing stories and creating unforgettable experiences for those lucky enough to step aboard.

For Captain Ramón, the ocean isn’t just a job—it’s home. And when you sail with him, you’re not just a passenger—you’re part of the journey. personal touch to every dish

Chef / Mate Leala Simich

Leala was born and raised in Southern California. She grew up a block from the ocean and has been transfixed and in love with the sea ever since. After she finished raising her two children, due to a bit of empty nest syndrome, she left her longtime career as a Hollywood hairstylist and took to the sea. She went on to sail the eastern seaboard multiple times from the Bahamas up to Nantucket. She has been sailing all around the Caribbean on and off since 2014 hosting guests, accommodating their wants and needs and showing them all that boat life has to offer. Leala is an avid snorkeler and enjoys guiding tours in or around the waters of the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands. Leala’s culinary expertise is rooted in her passion for quality local ingredients and the freshest seafood available. Growing up in the diverse food scene of Los Angeles, she developed a deep appreciation for Latin, American, and Asian cuisine, mastering the balance of bold flavors and techniques. Her time spent in the Caribbean has further expanded her culinary repertoire, inspiring her to incorporate vibrant island flavors and innovative fusion dishes into her menus.

A graduate of Ashburton Culinary Academy in Devon, England, Leala brings a refined skill set and creative approach to every meal. Whether crafting elegant multi-course dinners, light and

refreshing beachside lunches, or hearty breakfasts to fuel a day of adventure, she takes pride in tailoring each dish to suit her guests' preferences. She has extensive experience accommodating a wide range of dietary needs, including paleo, gluten-free, vegan, and keto, while still ensuring every meal is both satisfying and beautifully presented. Even the pickiest eaters—kids and adults alike—find something to love on her thoughtfully curated menus.

Leala’s goal is to create an unforgettable culinary experience throughout the charter, designing a menu that perfectly complements the journey, from casual al fresco dining to exquisite plated dinners under the stars. Whether sourcing the finest local ingredients from vibrant island markets or preparing a freshly caught seafood feast, she brings creativity, precision, and a warm, personal touch to every dish.
