Kelsey grew up driving sailboats up and down the U.S. east coast and now runs DANTE with the same clean, no-drama precision she honed crossing oceans and threading through island chains. - Completed Yachtmaster training in South Africa
- Experience includes Mediterranean flotilla charters and transatlantic crossings
- Holds USCG Master license with STCW certification
Cassie turns the boat into a moving dinner party, dropping plates built from New York line-cook speed, culinary-school technique, and food memories from 40+ countries. She reads a group fast, matches the menu to the mood, and keeps the whole week humming around the table.- Originally from Florida; lifelong connection to the water and outdoor entertaining
- Professional background in event planning in Washington, DC
- Formal culinary training in New York City; line cook at a noted Southeast Asian restaurant in Chinatown
- Has sailed and cooked in the Mediterranean, French Polynesia, and the BVI, drawing on travel to 40+ countries
Brad runs DANTE like a tight, easygoing ship: he knows the systems, reads the weather, and builds days that swing from quiet coves to tight lines and fast sails without wasting a mile. Guests feel it right away—solid hands on the wheel, engineering brain in the background, all pointed at your best week on the water.- North Carolina native; sailing since childhood on Pamlico Sound
- Mechanical engineering degree from N.C. State University
- 40,000+ nautical miles, including Inside Passage, U.S. East Coast, and Caribbean deliveries

Guests get a galley that feels like a studio and a host who keeps the boat warm, safe, and wired for good energy.- Raised in Minnesota’s lake country with a lifelong pull to the water
- Career path from family newspaper business to full-time charter work in Alaska
- Experience on vessels from 28’ to 70’, including maintenance director, captain, sport-fishing guide, yacht racing, and Caribbean/U.S. deliveries

Our very first adventure chartering a yacht and this set the standard for all future charters.
From the first call with Kelsey, about a week before departure, we knew we were in good hands...friendly hands...someone who wanted to make this trip special...and boy did she ever.
We arrived in St. Thomas with a text from Kelsey that a car had been arranged to take us to the dock. (Already, things are being taken care of for us). Then, we met Kelsey...this happy, warm and caring young woman greeting us with open arms and hugs. We were instant friends. We came aboard and met the DELICIOUS Cassie...the chef of chefs. A brief tour, unpacking, and then the start of 6 unbelievable days beginning with special drinks and appetizers.
Our first dinner was 5 star and it only kept getting better and better. Cassie managed to make meals that were unique and delicious and beautiful to look at....AND, she navigate around dietary restrictions while managing to serve everyone at the same time. I gained 8 pounds in 6 days.....I hold Cassie deliciously responsible.
Every day brought a new adventure. Kelsey guided us through the days activities after breakfast each morning. We were in her capable and creative hands. Always going someplace interesting (she knows everything about every inch of the BVI and USVI).
This was an anniversary cruise and birthday cruise gift for my 75 year old husband. These two women made this a trip we will cherish and never forget. We are already looking into more charters as long as we can be with Kelsey and Cassie, since they are the gold standard and why would we want anyone else.
Oh, and Rachel, the rep for the boat....what a delight. Navigating me through every step until we settled on the right boat and crew. She made this first-time adventure something we will HAVE to repeat.
Thank you all. I could go on and on with every detail but I think you get the picture. The Kelsey and Cassie show is the only show in town. I'm still smiling (although 8 pounds heavier).
Hoping to hose Kelsey and Cassie at our home in West Palm Beach when they have free time in Florida.
Most sincerely and with gratitude,
David Cohen and Paul Bernabeo.
Colin and Alicia LOVED IT. They said it is the “most bada** thing they have ever done”.
Mindy and Jabez were absolutely great. Captain Jabez was so confident and was just so grounded, a good head on his shoulders and made us all feel super comfortable. When he wasn’t doing his job he was helping Mindy and asked if he needed anything to drink etc. They were an incredible team. The food was fantastic, and beautifully presented! We looked forward to every single meal. (They also loved the SA meal Jabez prepared) 😊
Jabez was great about getting the girls and ourselves up to do activities. Mindy took the kids over one day to Bitter End and hung out with the kids before the adults came over. It was so sweet of her and the girls loved it. They would hang out if we asked them to hang out but also knew when to give space. There was lots of sailing and we felt like we covered so much ground! Jabez was full of great suggestions. The crew even bought them a map and Jabez drew out their route!
14-50 years old and EVERYONE on the boat had an incredible trip.
Can't wait to do it again!
