Yacht Description
Classic schooner, updated. EROS is a 115ft sailing yacht built in 1939 by Brooke Marine, with her most recent refit in 2019. If you want the real thing (wood hull, proper pedigree) but still expect modern charter comforts, she hits that narrow target.
Sleeping is flexible. She accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 suites, including a primary with a queen bed and en-suite. And yes, there is a jacuzzi tub in the primary cabin. Private soak. No waiting for deck space.
Water time is easy. A 15ft/4.6m Zodiac tender gets you ashore and back quickly, and the toy mix keeps the day moving: paddleboards, a kayak, towable tube, and snorkeling gear, plus light fishing gear and an underwater still camera.
Comfort switches on. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi cover the practical side, while the movie theater/media server setup handles quiet nights on board. BBQ and an outdoor shower round out the basics you actually use.

Charter Reviews
S.R., Hermosa Beach, CA (April 2017)
"I recently had the opportunity to go sailing on Eros with my son, some of my best buddies and their sons. What an experience! The boat is beautiful - everything it's advertised to be. We hit surfing and snorkeling spots you can't get to without a boat. We did some fishing, took many father/son kayak trips and just soaked up the amazing sun and waters of the BVIs. Simply put, a trip we will remember forever."
B.D., San Gabriel, CA (2017)
"Excellent in every way. Loved the sailing. We wouldn’t change a thing."
J.M., Denver, CO (2017)
“Our group of seven ladies absolutely loved every minute of our five days on board Eros; we are very grateful for the experience and look forward to returning with husbands and kids.”
R.J., New York, NY (2017)
"We had an amazing time. Eros is a spectacular yacht, the crew was excellent, the USVI were beautiful and the weather was good too! The highlight of the trip was sail down passage between USVI & BVI. We also had great time with anchored activities: diving off transom/swimming around Eros; snorkeling with colorful reef fish, turtles and a sting ray; seeing spotted eagle rays jumping out of the water; enjoying delicious meals; “skurfing” (one son learned to waterski, the other learned to wake board); spending two afternoons on uncrowded beaches; etc. Great family time!”
J.S., Orange County, CA (2017)
“The sailing and island hopping experience of a lifetime.”
January 2012
Many thanks to the crew of Eros for a memorable experience. You treated us with such courtesy from the time that we arrived on Eros to our warm goodbyes. Our cruise Downeast along the Maine coast featured wonderful sailing, cozy anchorages, a variety of options for shopping, dining, or hiking ashore, and wonderful meals on the boat. We especially enjoyed happy hours and dinners around the cockpit table with party lights strung around the deck for ambiance as we watched the sunset across the water. Eros was fun to sail on a reach with the rig powered up. The Chef and food were amazing and you even met our wish for a lobster bake onshore. Thanks for the extra effort, and thanks too for entertaining us one night by singing sea chanties. -
Each day brought grand adventures and numerous moments of happiness. There, literally, is nothing more that could have been done to make it any better. Many thanks to you and the entire Eros crew for giving our families a vacation week we will never forget. -
