VANISHING POINT Yacht Description

  • Brand-new Hylas 57 (2022):
Fresh, modern sailing yacht with two queen suites for four guests.
  • BBQ on board:
Easy alfresco lunches and sunset grilling while anchored in quiet New England coves.
  • Rendezvous diving available:
Add guided scuba days without carrying bulky dive gear onboard.

New build, small group. VANISHING POINT is a 57-foot Hylas sailing yacht built in 2022, set up to sleep 4 guests in 2 suites. If you want a proper sailing yacht without scaling up to a crowd, this is the clean solution.

Two real cabins. You get a primary suite and a VIP suite, both with queen beds and en-suite bathrooms. No bunk gymnastics. No “convert the salon” conversation.

Designed by Bill Dixon. Bill Dixon handled both the exterior and interior design, which matters when you are spending a lot of time on board in a 57-footer. The layout and accommodations are meant to feel thought-through, not improvised.

Comfort still counts. Full air conditioning is onboard for the hot, sticky hours, and there is a BBQ listed for easy deck meals when you want to keep things simple.

Captain Only

$19,500 CAPTAIN ONLY - UP TO 4 GUESTS - Christmas & NY rates will be $22,425 A daily meal allowance to be added of $50 for the Captain, unless the charter guests will provide meals for the Captain

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like VANISHING POINT, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price ($2,925 - $5,850), making the charter cost $22,425 to $25,350. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

VANISHING POINT

My client had a good time and said, "Captain and boat are awesome!..."

VANISHING POINT
12-19 June 2025 Newport
David knows the boat very well, handles it confidently, and knows the cruising area well. We had a nice time together and he was positive and engaging towards our kids. Richard, who was our additional crewmember/chef, was also friendly and easy to get along with, including for the kids. He has a fine dining/private chef background and his cooking was great. We thoroughly enjoyed his meals every day.
Together they offered a casual and relaxed service.
VANISHING POINT
22-29 March 2025 The Bahamas
I wanted to let you know that Anna and Matthijs shared glowing feedback about their charter aboard Vanishing Point, calling it an “unforgettable trip!”

Special praise went to the crew: “Captain David went above and beyond to give us the experience we had envisioned,” and “Chef Wesley was more than THE BEST!! She exceeded our expectations in every possible way.” They described the yacht as the best they’ve ever sailed.

Thank you for such an amazing experience! I've also received a request for feedback from another broker, and I've shared the client's comments with her as well!!
Hope to get more business your way!
Kind regards,
Federico
