UNWAVERING Yacht Description
UNWAVERING will be Sunreef's latest 50ft Luxury catamaran to come out of their factory in 2022.
3 cabin layout to accommodate 6 guests in luxury and style.
The Sunreef 50 is an all-around luxury sailing yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures. Her clever bridge deck and superstructure design allow for a superior level of comfort onboard whereas the generous teak use, high bulwarks and classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge. Her saloon opens both onto the comfortable bow terrace and the yacht’s cockpit which is extended with a hydraulic aft platform. The hulls provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite and an immense bathroom. While housing the main helm, the large flybridge is definitely dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for 6 guests, a fully-equipped wet bar and large sunpads.
Offered by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht UNWAVERING is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. UNWAVERING spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was completed by recognized shipbuilder Sunreef Yachts in 2022. The well-planned yacht layout features 3 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 6 guests.
UNWAVERING is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The modern cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.
The sailboat features 2 x 110HP, 1 Gen 19KW engines and a generator.
Accommodation
Unwavering offers 3 Queen cabins for guest use. A 4th Bunk room (generally used for storage) may be available to accommodate those not wanting to share a cabin. PLEASE INQUIRE first before offering as option.3 Queens - 78" X 62.63" All cabins have A/C, fans, USB ports and toiletries.

Captain Grant Surtees
Born and raised in Durban, on the east coast of South Africa, Grant lived around the water and mountains experiencing all aspects of the outdoors while growing up. Family vacations and weekends were spent taking part in water sports, fishing and riding off-road motorcycles.
Looking for opportunity elsewhere, he gravitated towards yachting. Having a strong background with water sports and boats he found no difficulty adapting to the new lifestyle which began in the South of France working on super yachts. He then made the move to the BVI working on catamarans and realized that the interactions with guests and being apart of something bigger, someone’s happiness and memorable moments was really what drove him.
Outside of yachting, Grant's other passions are kitesurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing and golf. He looks forward to sharing those activities and stories with guests.
Chef / First Mate Ulrika Fredrikson
Ulrika was born in the northern part of Finland. As a child she would often go sailing with a family friend and was always fascinated by the sea. Every summer Ulrika spent months in the Swedish archipelago at her grandmother's villa. Her grandmother grew everything herself: a variety of different food crops, vegetables, herbs, fruit and berries. Her grandmother hosted countless beautiful family feasts that brought the whole family together outdoors in her beautiful garden. Her grandmother’s cooking and lifestyle built the foundation to Ulrika's interest in food and cooking at a young age.
While Ulrika was in high school, she went on an exchange year in Thailand where she spent the year living with a local family and learning about the culture and the language. During her time in Thailand she also fell in love with the local cuisine. Ulrika soon realized how much she loved traveling and exploring new places, cultures and cuisines. A lot of Ulrika’s cooking takes influences from Asian cuisines.
A few years later she got accepted into one of the world's top ranking art universities in Helsinki, Finland to study product design. During these years she would often find herself catering for events, exhibitions and vernissages and always dreaming of and planning the next adventure. She moved to Stockholm, Sweden and ended up working in tech for some years. She longed for a change and decided to pick up her sailing skills and took a sailing course in Tenerife. After rediscovering her childhood dreams of sailing and falling in love with the sea all over again she decided to take a close friend's advice and combine her love for the sea and cooking.

Grant and Ulrika met in the Bahamas while working on a yacht and Grant quickly swept her off her feet while sweeping the floors around her. Grant and Ulrika have teamed up and enjoyed experiencing the sweeter things of life while creating unforgettable memories for their guests. They have quickly become an inseparable team and a well oiled machine, working together seamlessly. They are excited to be on a journey together and looking forward to welcoming guests aboard Unwavering.

The Crew: Adam and Rosie were amazing. Both have first class service skills, and were genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful time. Adam served as Captain, dining room server, tender skipper and itinerary planner. Every evening he would have a map after dinner showing us where we had been that day, what the weather forecast was for the next day, and where we would be going. His selection of coves to spend the days and evenings in were idyllic and mesmerising. He did a fabulous job having all the water toys available the moment we anchored, and could not have been any more gracious in tendering us to land for activities. One day he even took us on a hiking trip (on Peter Island) so everyone could stretch their legs. Rosie served as the cook. I think we were caught off guard by the fabulous meals we had 3X a day, along with specialty cocktails and appetizers each day. Rosie also magically cleaned the cabins while we ate breakfast, threw a party that we all got invitations to on our cabin beds the last evening, and made first class gourmet meals. We learned that Unwavering is owned by " " and if by any chance you have their contact info., please share with them what stellar staff they have who take meticulous care of Unwavering. They treat the yacht as their own, and take tremendous pride in keeping it in A-1 shape. Adam and Rosie were so outstanding that the group decided to try to take another trip the year after next with them ( and Unwavering). The only thought for improvement is that the forms we completed ahead of time citing our food preferences were probably unnecessary inasmuch as Rosie had a healthy, well executed array of pre planned menus.

AMAZING! What can be said for the best ever Captain & Chef team in the BVI? Everything was perfection! The champagne & treats greeting, to every meal being a “photoshoot” and delicious. The crew was professional. Well organised, delightful to talk to. And worked constantly to ensure our trip was that of a lifetime. Unwavering is the best boat with every feature upscaled and beautiful! But, all exceptional boats need a Captain(s) with outstanding talents and Adam has what it takes. And, Rosie is a Captain and also a talented chef. Loved this trip!

Thank you for an amazing week! We didn’t know what to expect, we knew it would be wonderful, but this trip went above and beyond anything we could dream of! Rosie & Adam were amazing, they made the week wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about 2 people! They were kind, considerate and always looking out for us! Truly the trip of a lifetime! The beauty, the comfort, the engineering/technology of this yacht is truly amazing - all of the extra special touches - toiletries, the decor, table settings - made us feel like treasured guests. The welcome & care provided by Adam & Rosie was superb, always warm and helpful. The meals were unimaginably delicious. Every meal was “over the top” spectacular and Adam was always ready with a cup of tea for me, I will remember that forever! With such gratitude and great appreciation - i'm sure there is no better crew in the BVI!

Where do we begin? From the first welcome aboard to the final snorkel and flite board ride - and all of the simply AMAZING meals - it was absolute perfection! It is our 6th charter and quite simply the best by a mile! Rosie and Adam are as friendly, accommodating and professional as they come! The perfect pair for Unwavering! We will be back!!

What a special time spent on Unwavering! It was such a gift spending time with family on the beautiful waters of Turks & Caicos. Unwavering is awesome - such a beautiful boat - and Adam and Rosie are such a delight to be with! Rosie’s meals. Desserts and snacks were delicious and were works of art!! We enjoyed relaxing on the “Cherio”, snorkelling and just chilling with all the family. Thank you for such a fabulous trip.
