Yacht Description
Fresh build, smart layout. TAPAS is a 57-foot Royal Cape sailing catamaran built in 2023, set up to sleep 10 guests in 5 cabins. Big cat space, without the big-boat fuss.
Cabins that actually work. Five guest cabins, each with its own en-suite head and walk-in shower, plus full air-conditioning. The galley-up design keeps the cook-and-chat dynamic in the same orbit as the salon.
Water time is the point. Three paddleboards, floating mats, and snorkeling gear make it easy to turn anchor stops into long swim sessions. Add sea scooters and an underwater still camera when you want to range a little farther. Quick dip. Repeat.
Tow toys, too. There’s a wakeboard, a towable tube, and a 3-person “crazy sofa” for the days when relaxing sounds suspiciously like speed. Fishing gear is onboard for anyone who likes their downtime with a rod in hand.

Charter Reviews
10/10 couldn’t fault him!"
The experience was 5 stars. The boat was clean, comfortable and as described. The itinerary was well crafted with snorkeling, beach time, fun spots (hello Soggy Dollar, Tipsys, Willy T’s).
What made it unique was the crew. They took exceptional care of us from before the trip started until we parted ways. A taxi was waiting for us when we landed, welcome snacks when we arrived to the boat.
A highlight was the beautiful healthy delicious food prepared by MC. We felt like we were in a food vlog. Every meal better than the one before and accommodated a food allergy and restriction. Fresh fish, fruit, deserts, international flavors from Brazil to Morocco, it was amazing.
Capt kept us safe and engaged. Putting us on great snorkeling spots, taking our kids inner tubing behind the dingy, making drinks, great conversations.
This crew is special.
We are already dreaming of coming back.
2025
Our extended family—parents, our four adult sons, and two daughters-in-law, recently spent an unforgettable week aboard the yacht Tapas with Captain Matija Pavlović and MC, and the experience exceeded every expectation we had.
From the moment we stepped on board, Matija created a welcoming environment that made all eight of us feel instantly at home. Managing a group of varied ages and personalities isn’t always easy, but Matija balanced everyone’s interests with incredible ease, making each of us feel cared for and completely included.
His knowledge of the British Virgin Islands is outstanding. Every day brought a new highlight secluded beach, a spectacular snorkeling spot, or a perfectly timed sail between islands—each chosen with our family dynamics in mind. He orchestrated the itinerary so seamlessly that it felt like the islands were unfolding just for us.
Matija’s professionalism and mastery of seamanship were evident in everything he did. His calm, confident demeanor made us feel safe at all times, even in challenging winds or busy anchorages. Yet he pairs that competence with genuine warmth, humor, and a positive spirit that made even simple moments onboard feel special.
Whether he was helping the adventurous members of our family find the best places to explore, or giving space to those who wanted to relax and soak in the scenery, Matija always seemed to know exactly what each person needed. His ability to connect with everyone—parents, sons, and daughters-in-law alike—made the trip feel personal and perfectly tailored.
Our week with Captain Matija was truly one of the finest family vacations we’ve ever taken. If you’re considering a yacht charter in the British Virgin Islands, you couldn’t choose a better captain. He transforms a beautiful sailing trip into an extraordinary family memory.
An exceptional experience from start to finish.
From the very first meal to the last, MC delivered a dining experience worthy of a top-tier resort, yet with the comfort, creativity, and personal touch that only a gifted private chef can provide. Every dish she prepared was beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and crafted with thoughtfulness and care. Whether it was a fresh, bright breakfast, a vibrant island-inspired lunch, or a showstopping dinner, MC turned each meal into an event we looked forward to.
One of the standout moments of the entire week was her extraordinary jerk turkey Thanksgiving feast. Preparing something so special in a yacht galley is no small feat, yet MC delivered a holiday meal that was both festive and unforgettable, flavorful, tender, and infused with her signature creativity. It made celebrating Thanksgiving in the islands feel magical.
MC’s collaboration with Captain Matija was another huge part of what made the trip feel effortless. The two work together with seamless coordination and genuine respect, creating an atmosphere on board that is relaxed, joyful, and incredibly well-orchestrated. Their synergy ensured that meals were timed perfectly with sailing plans, activities, and family energy, helping each day unfold smoothly and beautifully.
Beyond her culinary skill, MC is simply wonderful to be around, warm, thoughtful, upbeat, and always attentive without ever being intrusive. She connected effortlessly with each member of our family, and her ability to accommodate different tastes and preferences made everyone feel cared for.
Chef Mary Campbell is a true gem, an exceptional chef, a gracious host, and an essential part of what made our week on Tapas, one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had. Anyone fortunate enough to sail with her will remember the meals, the creativity, and the warmth long after the trip ends.
These two crew helped us have a great experience in every way. I highly recommend Matija and MC.
