Represented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht RELENTLESS 60 is a 60 ft sailing catamaran. RELENTLESS 60 spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Sunreef Yachts in 2020. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.
RELENTLESS 60 is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tasteful cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Captain Dan’s passion for the water started at an early age along the coast of Delaware. He truly developed his skills after moving to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, where he learned to read the wind and the water for both surfing and sailing. He obtained his Captain’s license in North Carolina in 2008 and quickly began guiding on the water and sharing his love of nature and the sea. After sailing from North Carolina to the Bahamas on his personal boat, he found his way to the Virgin Islands. He now has over 8 years experience sailing the US and British Virgin Islands on myriad boats. Dan focuses on curating a custom itinerary based on his knowledge of the local waters and the guests requests. Most importantly, he wants everyone to feel safe, relaxed and at home while on vacation.
Chef Renata Himiona
Renata, born and raised in coastal northern New Zealand, has always been close to nature and the water. Seeing her mother’s passion for food and garden-to-table cooking from a young age, she experienced the joy that surrounds a beautifully prepared family meal.
Moving to Europe in her mid-twenties, Renata spent time living in London and Amsterdam, relishing the chance to travel, taste and cook during holidays from her corporate job. It was in Europe that she fell in love with sailing, and decided to take the leap to combine her passions of cooking and being on the water. She completed her Day Skipper certification, and after formalizing her culinary skills, began hosting charters in Croatia and Greece. Following a busy summer in the Mediterranean, she realized her dream of crossing the Atlantic Ocean by sail, managing the provisioning and cooking for the nine people onboard.
Renata loves learning new culinary skills and recently completed the Yacht Chef course at Ashburton Culinary School.
Renata’s favorite dishes include a mix of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and European, all influenced by the classic New Zealand cuisine she grew up with. In saying that, she is always excited to discover new flavors, spices and cooking styles, and loves to try new things. She enjoys exploring local food markets to find new and exotic ingredients, and looks forward to sharing these discoveries with you in the Virgin Islands.

Haley, your third crew member aboard Relentless, developed a connection to the ocean from growing up along the beaches of New Jersey. Her journey into the world of yachting began as a teenager after embarking on a memorable catamaran trip in the BVIs. From the captivating sunsets and snorkeling adventures to the exceptional crew who hosted her, Haley knew this was an experience she wanted to recreate for others seeking the perfect week in the islands. After completing her marketing degree in Dallas, her unwavering passion for the yachting industry led her to pivot her career path to work on board catamarans.
Known for her upbeat personality, Haley enjoys connecting and sharing the beauty of the islands with each guest. She hopes to curate unforgettable experiences with each charter, ensuring every moment aboard is nothing short of hospitable, relaxing, and adventurous.

Not sure where to begin. OK seriously, the first day of rough waves, first time on a boat and no seasickness at all! Christmas Cove not where we met Santa… But he comes later. Santa with his tattoos! Lol From sea turtles to octopus, schools of squid, stingrays, puffer fish, coral reefs, tarpon, floating tacos. Mardi Gras VI style, seashells, mongoose, goats, all the colorful fish and most of all wild donkeys. This vacation, this experience with you three will be one we will never forget. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime! Every detail was so thought out and executed perfectly! Rita, you made us all feel at home and pampered with such amazing massages plus cocktails. Tanya, the food and presentation was out of this world. Riley, you put up with all of us including Nicole‘s questions! And found your next calling as a wedding planner! The three of you together made it such an unbelievable plus seamless vacation. Some of the highlights from the trip included the special celebrations you did for birthdays as well as coordinating such a private intimate wedding. The sea bobs and snorkeling were the best we’ve had in a long time. The concert on the boat and king of the wing were experiences we could only do while charting with you! 1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Marcus and Sara were the perfect crew. They were very attentive to our needs and made us feel very special. Marcus was knowledgeable about hot spots in the BVI’s and set a wonderful itinerary for us, reviewing the plans with us and changing them on the fly if necessary. Sara’s meals were creative and delicious. She catered to our dietary needs,effortlessly. We truly looked forward to each and every meal.
2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
It was both beautiful and clean. One of the things we particularly liked was the spaciousness of the deck space with ample seating areas to find a quiet spot if needed. We loved the top deck and it’s 360 degree view.
3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes there was always a spot to find a cool breeze and the air conditioning in the cabins at night was wonderful
4. Was the food good and well presented?
Sara’s food was like a top quality restaurant. she catered to 2 of our gluten free guests and vegetarian also. The dishes were both delicious and beautifully presented.
5. Did you like the area you sailed?
The BVI’s are amazing! You’re never too far from land and the water and weather were sublime. We especially loved the times that we sailed including our 2 hour sail to the remote island Anegada. The snorkeling was amazing and Marcus brought us to places that allowed to see sea life we had never before seen.
6. Additional comments on your charter?
I would also highly recommend taking a charter with Marcus McClain and Sara Nelson. They were fun and attentive to our needs and we felt very comfortable being in their company for a week.
Very excited and impressed. It was clean, well organized, contemporary design, and large.
What did you think about your accommodation?

All were great. We stayed in the master suite, so we were spoiled.

The space...we have a party of 8, plus the captain and chef, but we never felt crowded.
Please describe your Captain:
Marcus was incredible. Very knowledgeable, very professional, but also very approachable with a great sense of humor. We asked a million questions, and he was always helpful, informative and insightful.
What do you think about your itinerary, the places and bays you visited and the activities you have done?
It was all perfect. Marcus approached us each morning with a plan or idea, and it always worked out great. He knew the right sports for private snorkeling, sunsets, etc.
Please describe your chef:
Sara made the trip. Her food was incredible, perfect portions, very creative, fresh and tasty. We had one person on the trip that preferred some different items, and she went out of her way to customize his menu. Plus she was fund and energetic and a joy to be around.
Please describe you meals:
Top notch. Something you'd get in a high quality restaurant. Very precise presentation details. I have no idea how she does that in such a small galley.
Do you feel the meals and drinks reflected the requests you made in your preference sheet?

First, your assurances about the crew were spot on, they were just great. Marcus is such an experienced sailor and extremely competent, really excellent. Both of them have a very mature way of seeing things and are committed to having the guests have what they want and have a good time. in addition they were gracious hosts, really beyond their years (offering drinks, refilling coffee, attending to details...)
Jonathan and I are both cooks, Jonathan a gourmet cook. We loved Sara's cooking, she did an amazing job. Three full meals per day, attending to freshness, color, texture, taste, in addition she was creative. I took photos of many of the meals because they were so aesthetically pleasing. She clearly had been guided by our preferences, and cooked to them. She baked outrageous desserts as well, OMG!
The boat was in excellent shape. It was clean, the bathrooms cleaned daily, beds made for us (!), the beds were comfortable. There was adequate space so that the 3 couples could all be separate to read or talk, and the space comfortable for the 6 of us to eat.
The itinerary was built by Marcus on the basis of what we wanted to do . We made the plan the night before mostly, in a group discussion. We found great places to snorkel and paddle board, really nice sailing legs where we could enjoy the wind and the sea. The pace was perfect because Marcus paced it to our wishes. Both he and Sara really paid attention to what we were saying and did their best to accommodate our wishes...
I would absolutely recommend this crew without reservation, and the boat as well.
Thank you for an unforgettable first trip to the BVI - all I can think about is when/how we can come back. Thank you for being kind and patient with me while I got comfortable snorkeling and while Jesse fell off the paddleboard 500 times "because of the board" I'm sure you hear this all time time, but this trip was life changing in so many ways. We certainly consider you friends and really hope you will come visit us in UT. I'll get on Jess to finish the basement.

Wow! What a remarkable adventure. Scott and I enjoyed every moment aboard the lovely Neverland. You two made it extra special. Snorkeling - a first for Scott - and front row parking everywhere we went. Sailing was a blast. The ship immaculate. Your attention to detail is very much appreciated. I felt safe and comfortable for the entire trip. Sara's culinary skills wowed So very tasty - and healthy. Marcus was an excellent guide.
We really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. Now, from 81 degrees to 7 degrees and a coming snowstorm in Utah!

You have made Denise and my first charter much more than we could have every expected. Great service, balanced music, safe travels, exquisite food, flying fish, pesky Baracudas, spectacular snorkeling, nautical alphabet challenges, scenic sailing, selfless service, competent & courageous captain... the list goes on.
You have made our experience most memorable. We will definitely recommend you to friends, family and others.
From minute one to the last minute of our trip, Marcus made us feel at home on board with an easy going, friendly charm. Right away he showed us around the yacht, which in itself is amazing: plenty of space to move about, seek privacy, lounge comfortably, sleep like a baby, and even take a refreshing shower. Marcus exceeded our expectations as the captain of our vacation and Karizma!
Marcus patiently and graciously showed us the ropes and gave us the opportunity to pitch in with sailing as we desired. We hold him in high regard and find ourselves missing his company now that the trip has come to an end.
Our days felt easy, revolving around what we wanted to do, with no rushing or pressure. Captain Marcus gave us solid advice and told many a story about the BVIs both from natural and historical perspectives as well as the real truth about living there. He enabled us to get a genuine feel for the life many of us only dream of. Marcus personally led us on hikes, and took us to amazing spots we likely wouldn't find on our own. From Tarpon feeding on Saba Rock, extraordinary banana daiquiris, a tour of Anegada by truck complete with a picnic on a beautiful secluded beach and many more.
We left the yacht feeling we had a satisfying mix of pleasure, relaxation and adventure. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and not one of us wanted to wake up from our dream vacation. We will be back!
