Presented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht HOUBARA is a 78 ft sailing catamaran featuring a jetski. The promiment features of HOUBARA are her elegant profile and alfresco dining areas. HOUBARA spends the winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the ship builder Sunreef Yachts in 2012. A well-done refit was delivered in 2024. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 6 guests.
HOUBARA is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where most of the meals are served. The fascinating cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like HOUBARA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€6,800 - €11,900), making the charter cost €40,800 to €45,900. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

- Technical background as engineer on 100ft LUNAR MIST and 108ft EUGENIA.
- Holds Master 200 and Master 500 licenses; speaks French and English.
- Formal culinary training in Mauritius with further experience in renowned Seychelles hotels.
- Michelin-star kitchen experience in Antwerp (Anvers).
- Yachting chef since 2005 on private and charter yachts from 24m to 124m.
