Escapade is your ultimate panoramic charter option! She is characterized by completely open spaces. Boasting clean cut interior design and large, luxury social areas. Providing a large tilt-and-turn door and sliding windows for a never ending grand vision on the ocean. Escapade promises a 5-star luxury charter yacht that is modern and eminently stylish!

Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht Escapade is a 54 ft sailing catamaran. Escapade spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the renowned boatbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2022. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.

Escapade is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Multiple portholes supply a sunny feeling, with the option for darkness and privacy.

Accommodation

1 master queen cabin with dual entrances, one to the saloon and one to the aft deck. Jump straight into the Ocean from your bedroom!
The other 3 double cabins are all roomy and spacious, with full bathrooms. Two of which have separate showers.
All main cabins have full A/C and the temperature of each room is individually controlled.
Small single cabin available on request, entrance is through hatch on the deck. Great for children or teenagers.

The lifestyle that a small city offers allowed him to fully participate in schooling activities, club sports and the time to maximise all that life by the ocean has to offer. Luke has always been an outdoors person since he can remember, enjoying the raw beauty nature has to offer which is all around us. He believes this is where his passion for yachting stems from and satisfaction he gets from being your Captain.

His captaining experience since his first catamaran navigating the entire Croatian coastline to more recently crossing the Atlantic Ocean from South Africa to the Caribbean, has indeed taught him many valuable lessons and allowed him to develop a high level of responsibility.

Luke defines himself as energetic, helpful, persistent, hardworking, and possesses a strong willingness to learn. Not only this, but Luke’s determined to provide an unforgettable charter experience.

With a deep-seated passion for the sea and sailing, Melody has navigated through both professional and personal pursuits with a zest for adventure. For the past two years, she's been cooking up a storm as a private chef on sailing boats in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

When Melody isn't working on a boat, she enjoys skiing and touring in the mountains. She also likes playing golf, tennis, or pickleball because she enjoys the company and competition.

Melody cares a lot about doing things well and making people feel welcome, she loves using top-quality ingredients to make delicious meals. She's a friendly and hardworking team player who's always eager to help out. Melody believes that food is a big part of any trip, so she makes sure her dishes are not only tasty but also picture-perfect Instagram worthy.

Friendly, funny, and fuelled by a love for what she does, Melody's goal is to keep exploring the world while serving up new and exciting dishes to her crew and guests.

Captain Rolf

Meet Rolf, a Viking at heart from the stunning fjords of Norway. With an undying love for sailing, he's dedicated to sharing the thrill of the open sea with others. Nothing brings Rolf more joy than seeing the excitement on someone's face as they raise their first sail. After a day of adventure, he savors dropping anchor in a peaceful bay, enjoying a feast prepared by the onboard chef.

Rolf's journey with the sea began racing dinghies along Norway's coastline. His talent led him to international competitions and coaching at just 15. Now, as a Captain, he's tackled daring voyages, including crossing the Atlantic.

With over 15,000 miles of experience and extensive navigation skills, he has become adept at handling vessels and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers. Rolf possesses a knack for problem-solving, qualities that have proven invaluable in his role as a captain.

In addition to his sailing endeavours, Rolf has also worked in the Adriatic Sea, gaining valuable experience in crew management, vessel maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service. Sailing isn't merely a profession for him; it's his life's passion, driving him to share the thrill with all who join him on the waves.

Captain steered us to super fun little hang outs that I didn't know about in the USVI or BVI even though I thought I knew the area well. The Bali 5.4 makes the trip, it is an incredible boat. What made Escapade so special was how well the boat is kept, and the crew. The captain would routinely ask/suggest that if we wanted a happy hour swim platform he would lower the hydraulic dinghy platform and move the dinghy to the side giving a perfect play area (actually at any time of the day, but at happy hour having it just above the water line helped keep the drinks above the water line :-)). The main reason to crew a boat is to take away all the hard jobs, and she made putting out fabulous meals and snacks look easy (and we all know it is not). The Escapade handled the waters so smoothly and I felt great the entire week. Our captain shared some great spots around the BVI's. We snorkeled each day or explored around some of the islands. This boat has a remote control platform off the stern that we would use to get in and out of the water after snorkeling or paddle boarding, so convenient! The presentation was beautiful! She was also so accommodating to my picky eater kids and made them special meals if they wanted. Drinks were always flowing and delicious! Not only did they both make my family feel so comfortable but they truly went out of their way to make us feel special. We truly felt like they were friends. We hated getting off the boat and leaving them. We will always remember that trip as our favorite! Captain JP and chef Eden Intelligence, experience, and good humor. This captain is the total package! J.P. grew up on the West Coast of South Africa in a small town called Langebaan. Being raised on a sailing catamaran, the sea has always been his playground. Sailing, surfing, diving, fishing, and spear fishing run through his veins. After graduation, JP spent a few years in the mechanical engineering sector, constructing deep space radios. That was cool but, J.P. comes from a family of seafarers and his heart belongs close to the ocean. This led him to pursue a career in the yachting world. He’s worked every position from technician, deckhand to captain and has sailed everything from a small boat to Super Yachts, with a historic vessel boasting 2 wooden masts and 8 sails in between. You’ll be in good hands with J.P. He has a long list of maritime credentials and a lifetime of practical application. All that paired with how funny this guy is…Guests are in for a really good time! EDEN BAKER - CHEF/MATE This woman is a superstar! Her warmth and beauty shine from the inside out and transfer on to others through her kind, assertive nature, and delectable meals. Eden grew up in Cape Town, South Africa studying dance. After graduation, she accepted a position as a dance teacher in The Seychelles, and there you have it, the spark for travel was ignited. In realizing her love for travel, culture and working with people, she went on to work in the hospitality industry at some of the most exclusive beach clubs, ski resorts and hotels around the world. Working with the elite clientele of these establishments, she learned the proper implementation of 5 Star guest services. Fast forward to Eden’s life at sea….She’s been working on super yachts for nearly 2 years. She’s newly engaged to Captain J.P. and has completed the appropriate courses to work beside him safely and competently. With her adventurous spirit, keen eye for detail and willingness to go the extra mile, you are in for a treat with this one. Eden’s specialty is using local ingredients, seafood and fresh bread.
