CUAN LAW Yacht Description

  • World's largest sailing trimaran at 105 feet:
Provides extreme stability underway and at anchor, enabling access to more locations and better sleep.
  • Extensive water sports collection:
Includes 2 Hobie sailboats, 4 kayaks, wakeboards, waterskis, kneeboards, tubes, and beach games for full family fun.
  • Spacious accommodations for 20 guests in 10 cabins:
Flexible twin/double layout perfect for large groups, families, or romantic getaways with privacy and comfort.

This is not a “yacht with some diving.” This is a 105ft purpose-built dive mothership that just happens to sleep 20 people in real cabins instead of stacked bunks.

CUAN LAW is one of the world’s largest sailing trimarans, designed from the keel up as a stable, wide dive platform with serious comfort: 10 en-suite, full-size staterooms, each configurable as either double or twin, all air conditioned, all with space to actually stand up and walk around. If you’re trying to move a big group without sacrificing sleep quality, this is the point where most other yachts tap out.

The hull form is the cheat code: a 44ft beam multihull means the boat barely rolls, at anchor or under sail. That matters when you’re doing up to 3 dives a day for 20 divers, with onboard compressors, full scuba gear, and dive crew who can instruct, guide, and run courses. Bring your entire dive tribe, not just the lucky few.

Off the dive deck, CUAN LAW runs like a floating watersports camp: two 21ft dinghies with 115hp engines, kayaks (single and doubles), Hobie cats/sailing dinghies, wakeboard, waterskis, kneeboard, snorkel kit, beach games and a big swim platform for launching the chaos. Shallow draft (~1.5m) lets her tuck in closer to reefs and coves instead of staring at them from offshore.

Inside, the layout is built for groups who actually want to socialize: a huge salon with bar, media/TV room that can double as a chill or “spa” space, full AC, good sound, a library, and a galley turning out multi-course menus rather than “liveaboard food.” A professional 7-person crew runs the operation, including dive pros and a chef who takes “special diets” as a solvable problem, not an excuse.

If your brief is: “big group, real beds, heavy diving, lots of toys, high stability, and we’d like a sail rig because we’re not dead inside,” CUAN LAW is built for exactly that use case.

* There are ten double staterooms, each can be set up to suit your needs with a double bed or twins, side by side. Accommodation aboard Cuan Law is spacious and comfortable. You won't find cramped bunk beds aboard Cuan Law and you've got plenty of walking around space.

Crew

Captain: Scott Ferris

Captain Scott Ferris Scott drives Cuan Law with the easy confidence of a man who has worked every station on board, so the operation feels tight, relaxed, and built around getting you in the water and back with everything running smooth. He trains his crew hard, keeps the mood light, and makes the whole week feel like you’ve stepped into a well‑oiled dive machine.

  • RYA Yachtmaster license
  • 9 years of professional sailing experience
  • 9 years of charter command experience
  • UK nationality; fluent in English

Patrick lines your dive days with sharp, flavor‑packed menus that land on time and hot, so you surface hungry and find the table already working for you. He cooks like he’s running a busy shore kitchen, but tuned to the motion and rhythm of a serious liveaboard.

  • USA nationality
  • 10 years of sailing experience

Ariel rides the line between deck and engine room, keeping the machinery humming while still showing up topside to move guests and gear like it’s all one clean system. He grew up around Tortola’s water and now feeds that local sense straight into the way Cuan Law runs.

  • Born and raised on Tortola, BVI
  • Joined Cuan Law crew in 2017 as steward; now training as engineer and Divemaster

Reka runs dives with a traveler’s eye and a photographer’s patience, steering you to the right coral, the right light, and the right pass so every drop feels intentional. She keeps the briefings tight, the vibe upbeat, and still has energy left for island hikes when the gear is stowed.

  • Hungarian from Transylvania, Romania
  • Professional dive experience in Mexico, Thailand, Australia, and Mozambique

Sabina keeps the dive program sharp and guest‑focused, watching your comfort and profiles while still pushing you toward the best parts of each site. She moves quietly in the background so the underwater show, not the logistics, is what you remember.

  • USA nationality
  • Professional diver aboard Cuan Law specializing in guest dive supervision

Abbie runs cabins and common spaces like a fast, quiet circuit, clearing chaos before you ever see it so you step out of every dive into a reset boat. She reads groups quickly and tunes service to match, from laid‑back family weeks to full‑tilt dive junkies.

  • From the USA
  • Stewardess responsibilities aboard Cuan Law, including guest service and interior care

Joe moves between service and deck work, keeping drinks, gear, and lines all where they should be so guest flow stays clean from salon to swim platform. He brings a calm, steady presence that keeps big‑group charters feeling organized instead of crowded.

  • From Honduras
  • Steward role aboard Cuan Law supporting both hospitality and deck operations
