Can we scuba dive during a BVI yacht charter?

Yes, and the BVI has one of the Caribbean’s iconic dives: the wreck of the RMS Rhone off Salt Island, a national park and a genuinely world-class site. Add the Indians, the caves at Norman Island, and reef sites the whole way down the Drake Channel; our top 10 BVI dive sites maps them all.

The usual setup is rendezvous diving: a licensed BVI dive operator meets the yacht at the day’s mooring with tanks and a divemaster, you dive, and the boat never breaks its rhythm. Some catamarans also carry their own gear and dive-qualified crew; if diving is central to your week, say so and we shortlist those.

No license? Discovery dives with an instructor cover beginners, shallow and supervised, and the snorkeling, the caves, the Indians, the Baths, is so good here that non-divers barely feel left out.
