New Year books first: most New Year charters are booked between July and September, and the most-loved catamarans go first, so we recommend booking before July. Christmas usually has availability much later, but the best yachts still go first. For the February and March prime weeks, we recommend 9 to 12 months ahead for the best selection. The BVI has the most loyal repeat clientele in chartering, and repeat guests rebook their favorite boats before the public ever sees the dates.
For the rest of the winter season, 4 to 8 months out still gives a real choice; the rate calendar shows exactly when pricing shifts. Late spring and summer are the flexible months, where good boats can be found weeks out, sometimes with an offer accepted.
