Incredible Value Crewed Catamaran Charter!

Ultra is a really great catamaran with a very spacious layout, very popular with groups of friends and families.

She is run by the much-loved couple Captain Kyle Foglesong and Chef Jessica Dillow, who have shared 16 years on the water.

Something many clients mention in their reviews is their surprise at how spacious she is.

This is especially apparent on the flybridge: where sailing catamarans have a mast and winches, Ultra has a nice lounging area with a panoramic view over the bow of the yacht—the perfect place to relax while underway or at anchor.

I think Ultra’s interior is very well done. It is both elegant and very homely, with cozy blankets and pillows on all the beds and couches and beautiful tropical island-themed decorations.

I also want to mention that Ultra has a fully stocked Cocktail wet bar on the back deck! She comes with fishing gear, allowing for trolling and fly fishing, snorkeling gear, and underwater cameras for those who prefer to look at the fish!

A Great Catamaran for a Group of Friends Wanting to Share a Luxurious Charter in the Virgin Islands!

I must say I am quite impressed by this Catamaran and her price; she seems to be ticking a lot of boxes, with a layout that I rarely see work on a catamaran this size.

Starting with the main saloon, the spacious galley with a cooking island and a large seating area really sets the stage for memorable dinner parties, all while offering a great view of the meal prep.

The aft deck doesn’t disappoint either, offering a generous dining space for all eight guests. It features a hydraulic swim platform that not only enlarges the deck area when raised but also provides easy access to the water for some relaxing moments by the water’s edge when lowered.

Up front, the foredeck includes a cozy sunken lounge that’s perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the scenery while you cruise. The two large trampolines are a fantastic spot for lounging and watching the water flow beneath.

This is a really great family yacht with room for 6 adults and 2 children –she has bunk beds! (Something I have a lot of clients asking for.)

What Should You Know Before Chartering a Yacht in the Virgin Islands?

Planning to charter a crewed catamaran and cruise around the Virgin Islands, hitting both the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands? That sounds like an amazing adventure, but there are a few things you should know before going.

You will be crossing country borders and need a yacht with the right permits to sail between these two island groups. Not every yacht has that.
Keep in mind that the sail from St. Thomas to Tortola might take you up to 4 hours, depending on the weather.
You, your crew, and all your guests will need to go through immigration when you arrive, which might take a little time.
It is a good idea to work with a charter broker who can take care of all the logistics and make sure it all goes smoothly.

She can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 spacious cabins: 2 king cabins and 2 larger-than-queen cabins.

– Note that one of her master cabins features a private drop-down balcony, a perfect spot to enjoy a romantic bottle of champagne or to jump off for a morning swim.

One of my favorite things about Mariah Princess III is her very large flybridge, which features a Jacuzzi.

Jacuzzis are commonly placed on the foredeck, but in my opinion, the flybridge jacuzzi is superior—I mean, who doesn’t want a Jacuzzi on the top deck with a 360° view? You can’t beat that!
