STARSHIP 185′ Yacht Description
-
Expansive water toy lineup with 4 Seabobs and E-foil:
Premium Seabobs and the top trending E-foil add thrilling fun for all water sports lovers. -
36ft water slide from sundeck to sea:
Kids and families adore this exciting inflatable slide, perfect for endless laughter and splash time. -
At-anchor stabilizers:
Guests enjoy restful sleep in every anchorage with stabilizers reducing yacht motions overnight.
Start with the beach club, the Jacuzzi, and the slide. STARSHIP 185’ is built around the fun zones: a remodeled beachfront-style club with TV and lounge, a large Jacuzzi with swim‑up bar on the sundeck, an outdoor cinema, and a 36ft water slide that drops you from the top deck straight into your private ocean.
Then weaponize the water toys. A 40’ Intrepid towed tender, four waverunners, four Seabobs, E‑foil, inflatable jetski dock, 15x15 inflatable pool, trampoline, full dive setup with compressor and dive master, and custom beach BBQ setups turn the surrounding water into an activity grid rather than background scenery.
Now plug in the living space. For a 185’ Delta (2001, rebuilt and refit through 2021), STARSHIP is heavily optimized for charter use: sleeps 12 in 6 staterooms, including a full‑beam main‑deck master and a bridge‑deck VIP with 360° views. Four king cabins plus two twins with double‑queen layouts make it unusually friendly for couples’ groups and multi‑generational families.
Recovery mode is baked in. Gym with Peloton, elliptical, weights and mats, plus a sauna, at‑anchor stabilizers for calm nights, and a tech-forward AV setup including outdoor cinema and on‑demand movies and music in every cabin. Crestron controls and 24/7 in‑cabin ordering keep the service flow efficient and invisible.
The meta-feature: charter-proven crew. An 11‑person team led by a long‑term charter captain and competition‑winning chef means STARSHIP isn’t an experimental platform; it’s a highly iterated charter machine designed to keep 12 guests busy, fed, safe, and relaxed without friction.
Accommodation

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like STARSHIP 185′, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($68,750 - $110,000), making the charter cost $343,750 to $385,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Steve Feldman
Steve runs STARSHIP 185' like a long, clean storyline—no loose ends, no guesswork—so families and seasoned charterers get tight navigation, sharp timing, and a captain who actually likes you on the bridge while the miles roll by. He builds trips around how you travel, not how schedules look on paper, and then drives hard to make it all land exactly right.
- Nearly 30 years in yachting
- Over 20 years based in Florida after relocating from New York
- With STARSHIP since 2003, leading a long-running, mature charter program
- Owner of a previous boat repair business and lifelong performance-boating enthusiast
German is the one who turns all that steel, teak, and toys into precise, fast-moving fun, reading wind, swell, and guest energy so every launch, dive, and passage lands sharp instead of chaotic. He treats the water like a mapped-out arena, pulling from commercial discipline and serious miles to keep your play time clean and controlled.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Navigation
- 5+ years of professional boating experience
- Background on M/Y TURQUOISE, M/Y HAMPSHIRE, M/Y KATHARINE, and M/Y AVALON
- Cruised all five Great Lakes, Norway, much of the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Mediterranean
Tessa runs the interior like a quiet, tight circuit—service flowing, tables turned, cabins reset—so your days feel effortless while she’s tracking ten steps ahead. She reads each group fast and locks in the right rhythm: polished, calm, and tuned straight to how you like to live on board.
- South African nationality
- 8+ years of yachting experience
- Charter cruising across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Bahamas
- Rural Eastern Cape upbringing with strong outdoor and adventure background
Mikaela blends chef’s instinct with stewardess precision, so service comes out fast, clean, and dialed to what you actually feel like eating and drinking that minute. She moves through the yacht like she’s staging a sequence, lining up small details that make the whole trip feel deliberate instead of random.
- South African–born, now a U.S. citizen
- Studied Culinary Arts and Advanced Pastry in South Africa
- 7 years of yachting experience including Cuba, Bahamas, Central America, French Polynesia, Tonga, and Fiji
- Previously worked with Captain Steve on both STARSHIP yachts
Christine brings gym-level discipline to guest service, keeping energy high and the interior sharp so long days on the water still end in cabins and lounges that feel reset and ready. She carries a steady, upbeat presence that keeps families and groups relaxed while the schedule moves fast.
- South African nationality; grew up in Cape Town
- Exercise Specialist Diploma and 3+ years in the fitness industry
- Professional background in health and fitness before joining yachting
Macy brings emergency-room calm into charter service, staying steady when days stack up with kids, toys, and late nights so you feel looked-after instead of managed. She’s wired for care, watching the small human details that keep everyone comfortable while the itinerary runs hard.
- American nationality; born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee
- Studied nursing and worked 2 years as a registered nurse in general and emergency medicine
- Active sailor, runner, swimmer, and paddle boarder in her spare time
Russell cooks like he’s telling a tight, honest story on every plate—no fluff, just bold, precise flavors that match the mood of the day from beach-late lunches to slow, heavy dinners under the lights. He pulls Michelin control and street-food soul into one line, so meals hit both comfort and edge.
- Scottish nationality; born in Islington, central London
- Trade Certificate in Cookery, Auckland Hotel & Chefs Training School
- Winner of Yacht Chef Competition, Antigua 2022; 2nd place in Barcelona
- Michelin-star experience at Danesfield House Hotel in Marlow
- Holds MCA Food Hygiene Level 3, Ship's Cook Certificate, Rescue Diver, STCW 10, RYA Power Boat Level 2, IRB crew and driver certificates
Gregorio keeps the machinery tight and invisible, so what you notice is silence, cold air, and range—not the work it takes to hold a 185-footer on point. When the rods come out, he shifts from engine room to rail, turning his fisherman’s background into real, productive days on the water.
- Born in San Francisco, Mexico; raised in Bahia de Banderas
- Chief Engineer Unlimited; STCW 2010 and SDSD certifications
- Started commercial work in 2009; yachting since 2016
- Previous roles on M/Y UBIQUITOUS, M/Y CORUS, M/Y BELBIER, and M/Y LEGACY
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Simon treats the yacht like a full-scale version of the engines he tore apart as a kid, hunting down small issues before they grow and keeping systems tuned so your trip runs without mechanical drama. He brings tanker discipline to private yachting, so reliability stays high even when the schedule isn’t gentle.
- Jamaican nationality; raised on the island’s north coast
- Marine engineering studies completed in 2017
- Experience on oil tankers alongside his chief-engineer brother before moving to yachting
Adrian runs the decks like an athlete runs drills—fast, precise, and always watching the water—so launches, recoveries, and toy setups feel smooth instead of improvised. He brings spearfisher focus and surf instincts to every move, keeping guests close to the action but away from the hazards.
- Mexican nationality; born in Jalisco
- Background in competitive soccer before moving into water sports
- 4 years of experience in the yachting industry
- Active diver, spearfisher, surfer, and fisherman
Keaton is the dive-and-toy guy who turns clear water into real exploration, lining up safe, dialed-in sessions whether you want easy snorkeling or full-on dives and wind days. He’s got camera and drone instincts too, so the moments don’t just happen—they get captured clean.
- From Lanzarote, Canary Islands; 20+ years living there
- Started scuba diving at age 10; 10 years as a dive professional
- Dive work across the North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean, Caribbean, and Adriatic Sea
- Committed to pursuing OOW/Chief Officer Unlimited, following his father’s seafaring path
Tray grew up with boats baked into his DNA, so he moves easily between tools and tenders, fixing what needs fixing and turning every run into a small adventure. He’s the one who keeps the mood light and the days story-heavy while quietly stacking sea time on his way to the captain’s chair.
- Bahamian nationality
- Raised around boats through his father’s maritime career
- Focused on progressing through yachting ranks toward captaincy
Reviews
The crew of Starship went above and beyond for every experience. The food, the activities, the tablescapes. Anything that they could make special, they did.
We are sad to leave this amazing crew and beautiful boat, but hope to be back soon.
please excuse the delay in getting this message to you about our latest charter on Starship185.
As you know this was our sixth time chartering with you and our first charter on the new Starship185. I must say that everyone was equally overwhelmed with joy and amazement at the new yacht. Captain Steve has put together an incredible crew that was completely in-tune with our group. The Service, friendliness and attention to detail in all aspects of the trip were impressive. The chef Lucie is no doubt one of the best chefs I have had the chance to cross paths with which was also echoed by one of our guests who is a renowned chef in the Montreal area. In all honesty, if I was on the Michelin star selection committee, I would give her and the whole experience a star. We are foodies at heart and our 12 days on Starship were like eating 3 meals a day at a Michelin starred restaurant. We were not served meals, we were served culinary greatness. Everyone looking forward to the day's culinary adventure.
Having Dave Ochs on board as our dive guide made our scuba diving world class. I put in 19 dives on this trip! With Starship having a great compressor setup on board along with the deck crew our scuba outings were seamless and always excellent. We even discovered a new wreck that we spent time exploring over a series of dives. Captain Steve even managed to anchor Starship right on top of the Nasau blue hole where the Turtles and silky sharks were there for us.
The yacht is fabulous, accommodations perfect and the stewards under the expert tutelage of Bea fantastic. Her attention to detail and organisation skills were notable and appreciated and we had a lot of fun.
On behalf of all the guests, xxx and myself, please convey our most grateful appreciation to everyone.
