Introduced by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht REACH is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. The primary distinction of REACH are her well-chosen interiors and culinary experience. REACH spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the well-known ship builder Leopard in 2022. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.
REACH is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where most of the meals are served. The immersive cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The sailboat features Engines: 2 x Yanmar 78HP Generator: Northern Lights M773LW3.3G engines and a generator.

MEET THE CREW:
Captain: David Stanley
Chef/First Mate: Naomi Timms
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, David developed an insatiable taste for travel and the ocean. Growing up over a large variety of locations, he managed to explore various different parts of his home country, discovering quickly that each place has its own unique magic, culture and people. He always managed to find himself back in Cape Town for large portions of the year, spending time snorkeling, swimming and enjoying the South African coast.
At the age of 14, David traveled to Mauritius for his first overseas trip and spent weeks on the water learning about water-skiing, marine wildlife and power boats. This prompted a further desire to see the world and travel. A few years later, having worked as a cocktail bartender for some time, he moved to the UK to hone his craft, finding work in one of London’s oldest pubs and learning from some incredible “sipsmiths”. He’s a classic cocktail fanatic and never turns down the opportunity to create something new and fun.
In 2019, David packed up all his belongings, sold his car and decided that the sea was his home. He began sailing commercially in Croatia and Greece for the flotilla company “The Yacht Week”, learning plenty from the yachts and the many guests he’s worked with. Creating many connections and friends along the way.
A fun-loving, free-spirited young man, David always enjoys sparking up a conversation and showing his peers/guests the ropes of sailing.
Naomi grew up in the UK and has enjoyed cooking from a young age. She fell in love with baking when she was young and ever since has taken pride in baking sweet treats for friends and family’s birthdays and events. She would also find great joy in creating beautiful spreads at any opportunity and loves hosting dinner parties with friends. Her dream has always been to travel the world, and to have the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their cultures.
She studied Environmental Science at university and is passionate about marine conservation and ecology. Her love for sailing sparked when she took part in a marine conservation expedition aboard a tall ship. During this trip she learned classic sailing techniques and worked with professionals to learn about the conservation of marine wildlife.
Naomi has worked in the hospitality for the past 8 years, she has worked in fine dining restaurants, cocktail bars, and catered for events and weddings. She decided that cooking on yachts was a perfect mixture of the two things she loves doing the most – which is when she decided to leave her hospitality job at home to work as a chef for a large flotilla company in the Mediterranean. She has worked on sailing yachts in Croatia, Greece, Antigua, and the BVI’s.
In her free time, Naomi loves exploring, hiking, surfing and paddleboarding.
She is passionate about cooking fresh, sustainable, and wholesome food created with seasonal ingredients – and loves catering for the specific needs of the group that she is working with, to ensure they have the best experience possible.

Growing up over a large variety of locations, he managed to explore various different parts of his home country, discovering quickly that each place has its own unique magic, culture and people. He always managed to find himself back in Cape Town for large portions of the year, spending time snorkeling, swimming and enjoying the South African coast.<br /> <br /> At the age of 14, David traveled to Mauritius for his first overseas trip and spent weeks on the water learning about water-skiing, marine wildlife and power boats. This prompted a further desire to see the world and travel. A few years later, having worked as a cocktail bartender for some time, he moved to the UK to hone his craft, finding work in one of London’s oldest pubs and learning from some incredible “sipsmiths”. He’s a classic cocktail fanatic and never turns down the opportunity to create something new and fun. <br /> <br /> In 2019, David packed up all his belongings, sold his car and decided that the sea was his home. He began sailing commercially in Croatia and Greece for the flotilla company “The Yacht Week”, learning plenty from the yachts and the many guests he’s worked with. Creating many connections and friends along the way.<br /> <br /> A fun-loving, free-spirited young man, David always enjoys sparking up a conversation and showing his peers/guests the ropes of sailing.<br /> <br /> Naomi grew up in the UK and has enjoyed cooking from a young age. She fell in love with baking when she was young and ever since has taken pride in baking sweet treats for friends and family’s birthdays and events. She would also find great joy in creating beautiful spreads at any opportunity and loves hosting dinner parties with friends. Her dream has always been to travel the world, and to have the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their cultures. <br /> She studied Environmental Science at university and is passionate about marine conservation and ecology. Her love for sailing sparked when she took part in a marine conservation expedition aboard a tall ship. During this trip she learned classic sailing techniques and worked with professionals to learn about the conservation of marine wildlife. <br /> Naomi has worked in the hospitality for the past 8 years, she has worked in fine dining restaurants, cocktail bars, and catered for events and weddings. She decided that cooking on yachts was a perfect mixture of the two things she loves doing the most – which is when she decided to leave her hospitality job at home to work as a chef for a large flotilla company in the Mediterranean. We had never done anything like this and to be honest we were super nervous about being on a boat with two strangers …and with our two teenagers who might not get along with …anybody!<br /> <br /> From the moment we met David who helped us with bags, we felt a great connection. He was so friendly, outgoing and capable. While loading the first day, Naomi (his better half) greeted us with cocktails and a beautiful spread of snacks and food. The days and nights that proceeded were absolutely wonderful -it’s very hard to put into words but we had David and Naomi create a first class experience. They secured all bookings with the dinners ahead of time, booked the best spots to moor in the evenings, gave us rides back and forth to bars and shops we wanted to go to and always made sure we were safe and never had questions.<br /> <br /> Naomi was a first class chef - she was a master of the culinary arts. Every meal was prepared at time when we wanted. It was pleasing to the eye and flavorful. Naomi is so sweet and pleasant -she was like a sister to my wife and a great (almost big sister to the boys) person for us to hang out with!<br /> <br /> David was a perfect captain. Although he (both) was so much younger than us, we were so impressed with his knowledge of charts, wind and passage around the islands. He also traveled us around on the tender and became quite close to the boys telling tales of island history, plans for the day (breakfast briefing :) and making sure the water sports went off without a hitch!<br /> <br /> We were so glad that they played cards with us-SEQUENCE and dominoes about every evening. We played other games as we traveled so it made it so fun for the boys (we restricted their phones for this trip…and made it waaaaay better )<br /> <br /> Daivd and Naomi are some of the best people we have encountered in life - kind, caring, mature, trusting and knowledgeable. I had no worries whatsoever leaving the kids to snorkel or hike with my wife. They are truly great people. We came as a family and left with a bigger family . The flybridge was SO great to feel the breeze while sailing. We even learned a few sailing tips from Dave on our trip to/from Anegada! Plenty of space for full sun, full shade, or a mix of both! <br /> <br /> REACH had loads of activities as well. The adults enjoyed lounging on the floating mat and paddle boards while the kids loved the sea scooters, tubing and knee boarding! The entire boat had plenty of space especially in the master cabin PLUS each kid had their own cabin with queen bed and bathroom. <br /> <br /> The BEST part of our trip was the CREW! Dave and Naomi provided such a welcoming and relaxing environment for our entire family. They work so well together with such fun energy!<br /> <br /> Dave planned a route that EXCEEDED all our wishes! He even found a way to accommodate water activities for the kids on the afternoon when mom and dad stayed a little longer at Soggy Dollar, making everyone HAPPY!! Each day, we landed in bays with great views and snorkeling. We were able to see turtles, rays, and loads of various fish, as well as amazing coral! He provided sailing tips for the adults with both of us taking the helm for a bit PLUS he was constantly entertaining the kids with fun activities!<br /> <br /> Naomi was SO sweet and such an AMAZING chef! We love exhilarating food experiences and Naomi’s meals are WELL BEYOND 5 STARS!! She was able to create the most EXQUISITE meals accommodating the family’s food intolerances and preferences! Growing up over a large variety of locations, he managed to explore various different parts of his home country, discovering quickly that each place has its own unique magic, culture and people. He always managed to find himself back in Cape Town for large portions of the year, spending time snorkeling, swimming and enjoying the South African coast.<br /> <br /> At the age of 14, David traveled to Mauritius for his first overseas trip and spent weeks on the water learning about water-skiing, marine wildlife and power boats. This prompted a further desire to see the world and travel. A few years later, having worked as a cocktail bartender for some time, he moved to the UK to hone his craft, finding work in one of London’s oldest pubs and learning from some incredible “sipsmiths”. He’s a classic cocktail fanatic and never turns down the opportunity to create something new and fun. <br /> <br /> In 2019, David packed up all his belongings, sold his car and decided that the sea was his home. He began sailing commercially in Croatia and Greece for the flotilla company “The Yacht Week”, learning plenty from the yachts and the many guests he’s worked with. Creating many connections and friends along the way.<br /> <br /> A fun-loving, free-spirited young man, David always enjoys sparking up a conversation and showing his peers/guests the ropes of sailing.<br /> <br /> Naomi grew up in the UK and has enjoyed cooking from a young age. She fell in love with baking when she was young and ever since has taken pride in baking sweet treats for friends and family’s birthdays and events. She would also find great joy in creating beautiful spreads at any opportunity and loves hosting dinner parties with friends. Her dream has always been to travel the world, and to have the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their cultures. <br /> She studied Environmental Science at university and is passionate about marine conservation and ecology. Her love for sailing sparked when she took part in a marine conservation expedition aboard a tall ship. During this trip she learned classic sailing techniques and worked with professionals to learn about the conservation of marine wildlife. <br /> Naomi has worked in the hospitality for the past 8 years, she has worked in fine dining restaurants, cocktail bars, and catered for events and weddings. She decided that cooking on yachts was a perfect mixture of the two things she loves doing the most – which is when she decided to leave her hospitality job at home to work as a chef for a large flotilla company in the Mediterranean.
