Galaxsea is your ultimate panoramic charter option! She is characterized by completely open spaces. Boasting clean cut interior design and large, luxury social areas. Providing a large tilt-and-turn door and sliding windows for a never ending grand vision on the ocean. Galaxsea promises a 5-star luxury charter yacht that is modern and eminently stylish!

Offered by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht Galaxsea is a 54 ft sailing catamaran. Galaxsea spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the well-known ship builder Bali Catamarans in 2019. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

Galaxsea is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The tastefully decorated cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes provide a connection with the natural world outside.

Captain Pedro:

I'm Pedro from Benidorm, southeast Spain, nestled between the sea and the mountains. Growing up, I embraced activities like kayaking, fishing, hiking, farming, and beekeeping. After completing my bachelor's degree in Marketing and Market Research, I embarked on fulfilling my travel dreams—exploring the trans-Siberian route, Mongolia, Australia, and hitchhiking the Silk Road. After over 2 years, during this journey, sailing emerged as a profound passion, particularly after my first Atlantic crossing.

Post my initial Atlantic adventure, I decided to immerse myself in the world of sailing and diving. I took steps to work on sailing boats and after that I gained experience in tender driving.

Hospitality and boats captivate me, and my ongoing goal is to continually enhance my skills to provide the best service possible. Looking ahead, I aspire to own a sailing yacht and make it my home in the future.

Chef/First Mate Cova:

I'm Cova from Malaga, southern Spain, and I'm passionate about the ocean. Since 2018, I've immersed myself in surfing, cooking, fishing and Brazilian Jujitsu.
I’ve always been passionate about cooking since I was a child. I grew up watching my grandmother and mother cook, so I try to replicate their dishes, Mediterranean style, which is full of flavors and culture. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a master's degree in Governance. Driven by a desire for an ocean-centric lifestyle, I began sailing in 2022. Over 8 months, I sailed from Grenada to the Bahamas. I worked as a stew/deckhand in Saint Tropez and successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean in December 2023.
My goals are improving my cooking and sailing skills, deepening my knowledge of the ocean and its wildlife, obtaining certifications as a yacht master and above all enjoying the joy of this incredible oceanic lifestyle.

Xander and Tay exceeded our expectations

Amazing trip! Thank you so much for all your hard work. This has been such a stressful year with covid and quarantine. We definitely needed a break from all of it. You helped us accomplish all we wanted to do - beautiful hikes, great snorkeling, wonderful beaches. Taylor, the food was delicious!! Thanks to both of you for all your hard work! Christmas Eve dinner was the best! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. it will definitely be one of our favorite Christmas memories. And of course after each great day of fabulous food and fun adventures we played playing Settlers of Catan. We are definitely going to have to return if nothing else, to try to beat Xander. Captain Xander was the absolute best!!! Always super helpful in suggesting plans, super calm and collected amidst a few boat issues we had, and always encouraging of a good time. Accommodating and understanding

Xander's knowledge about the boat, the sea, each island and yacht week was stellar. He was exceptionally helpful in communicating updates, recommending things to do/dinner venues and booking said venues. He was really great at reading overall energy levels of the group and matching them. Also hyping us up when needed! He was accommodating and understanding - reminding us all that it was our trip and tailoring it to us.

The perfect balance between professionalism, safety, and fun

Captain Xander was amazing. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism, safety, and fun during a seriously challenging week due to the Corona Virus situation. The whole time maintaining a positive attitude and checking in with each of us personally to still give us the best vacation possible. Personally, I was interested in learning about sailing, and Xander was more than happy to nerd out with me, which was great. Even though it was my first charter, I really can’t imagine having a better, more receptive, and friendly skipper!

Not only were the meals always different, but always fresh, always creative and so well thought out

I LOVE TAYLOR. That’s my girl!!!! Food was fire, so so good always. Not only were the meals always different, but always fresh, always creative and so well thought out. We had so many different options, everyone always had enough. We kept saying she couldn’t top one meal, and then she’d top it with the next one. If we ate a lot at breakfast, she was flexible about lunch time. She was very attentive and was quick on her feet to making use of what was available. She was super friendly, talkative, energetic, bubbly, funny, and we loved hanging with her. Especially me I got to talk to her a lot and she was awesome. Up early, working hard, on task, cleaning up, not leaving any messes, washing dishes right after meals, and always so helpful to us on setting up/coordinating dinners and hanging with us. Really feel like I made a genuine friend with her too.

When I think of peaches I think of Taylor. Her energy and smile alone made the week that much more fun. Her food was Michelin 3 stars. She was always on point with everything, from getting our tables set up to helping us with jet skis. Taylor is an Aussie but moving to the US and I can't wait to reunite with her in October.

We highly recommend you as perfect hosts for any group

We challenged you to free us from quarantine and pandemic induced claustrophobic blues while also keeping us safe. You were wildly successful! Xander sailed us to beautiful hidden harbors and secluded beaches without requiring us to look at our watches or a calendar for that matter. Xander accommodated our desire to feel productive by accepting less than effective gestures of help in anchoring and mooring making us feel like contributors despite increasing his workload. Taylor's meals were inspired, delicious, and beautiful gourmet courses. When the local restaurants shut down mid week, new onboard menus were planned and delivered without missing a beat. Not only were you competent at adjusting to unplanned curveballs, you did so in a way that made it seem like the plan all along. By the end of the trip we were calling you "mom and dad" despite us being twice your age. You were the coolest "parents on the boat" since you fed us a never-ending stream of painkillers. We highly recommend you as perfect hosts for any group looking to dip their toes in the water and adolescence, secure that you'll keep them from drowning in either.

Over 8 months, I sailed from Grenada to the Bahamas. He spent his initial years out of college behind a desk working for a large wealth management firm. During a trip to Croatia he fell in love with sailing and quickly realized that office life wasn’t going to be in his future forever.<br /> In 2016 Xander moved to Chicago, purchased an old sailboat, and spent summer evenings and weekends on the water, sailing around Lake Michigan. After a couple seasons he decided that the short Chicago summers and splitting time between the office and the lake wasn’t enough so he left the finance world to pursue a career in sailing.<br /> Xander has spent most of his time sailing in the Caribbean, Adriatic, and Great Lakes. His favorite part of the day is when the engines are off and you’re truly sailing. Xander is always happy to show guests the ropes and teach a thing or two about sailing. His goal on every charter is to deliver an unforgettable experience and leave guests with a passion for sailing.<br /> <br /> Your chef/first mate, Taylor, was born in Sydney, Australia but grew up in Los Angeles, California. While pursuing a degree in Art History at TCU, she spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy studying Italian Gastronomy and Culture. It was during this time that Taylor realized her passion for food and allowed her to refine her culinary skills.<br /> After graduating Taylor began working for a family in the US, preparing meals and helping care for their child. She was fortunate to accompany the family on extended trips around Europe and Africa, exposing her to more unique cuisines and cooking methods. <br /> Having visited 45+ countries, Taylor loves drawing on her experiences traveling to create inventive dishes in a wide array of culinary styles focusing on simple, local ingredients. In 2018 Taylor decided to go from kitchen to galley and started working as a chef on boats. She has worked on sailboats in the Adriatic and Caribbean. Her goal on every charter is to ensure some of your favorite memories are the beautiful sunsets and the amazing food accompanying them.<br /> <br /> Xander and Taylor first met while working on charters in Croatia before moving to the Caribbean. We are both passionate about yachting and love delivering the best possible charter for all our guests. Xander accommodated our desire to feel productive by accepting less than effective gestures of help in anchoring and mooring making us feel like contributors despite increasing his workload. Taylor's meals were inspired, delicious, and beautiful gourmet courses. When the local restaurants shut down mid week, new onboard menus were planned and delivered without missing a beat. Not only were you competent at adjusting to unplanned curveballs, you did so in a way that made it seem like the plan all along. By the end of the trip we were calling you "mom and dad" despite us being twice your age. You were the coolest "parents on the boat" since you fed us a never-ending stream of painkillers.
