Our week aboard Galaxsea in the BVI was pure bliss, thanks to Captain Mitchell and Chef Sylvie. From our Red Hook, St. Thomas pick-up, their impeccable service shone – spotless cabins, seamless logistics, and personalized touches like snacks brought out to us via paddle board as we floated in crystal clear blue water!
 
Highlights included a private tour of Necker Island (exclusive access arranged flawlessly), thrilling snorkeling at The Indians and Diamond Reef teeming with vibrant marine life, and a fun JVD stop that culminated in a highly competitive corn hole game in front of Ivan’s. 
 
Chef Sylvie’s creative, beautifully presented meals were customized, fresh-sourced, and perfectly paired – elevating every moment.
The guys enjoyed crewing for Captain Mitchell as he taught them how to sail in perfect conditions.
 
Galaxsea was fabulous - tons of space to spread out on deck and up top.  Cozy, well-appointed cabins.  Games, floaties, paddle boards, snorkel gear and more!

We spent a week chartering the Galaxsea Catamaran, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The boat itself is beautifully maintained—spacious, stable, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room to relax both indoors and on deck. Whether we were sailing between anchorages or lounging at sunset, the catamaran was comfortable and smooth, even in varying conditions.
What truly elevated the trip was the overall experience onboard. Every detail felt well considered, from the cleanliness of the cabins to the ease of living on the boat for a full week. The Galaxsea offered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation: great sailing performance, ample social spaces, and quiet corners when you wanted to unplug. It never felt crowded, even with everyone onboard.
A week on the Galaxsea was the ideal way to explore, unwind, and fully enjoy life on the water. We came away with unforgettable memories and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free charter experience.

My husband and I recently returned from a truly memorable week aboard the Galaxsea, a luxurious 54-foot catamaran from the USVI to the BVI. This voyage represented the fulfillment of a long-held dream, as it allowed us to recreate the magic of our honeymoon spent in a similar setting 46 years ago.
Each day brought new adventures as we explored one or two distinct islands, enjoying exceptional snorkeling, leisurely beach walks, or simply relaxing on the expansive deck while soaking in the breathtaking Caribbean scenery. The sunsets are amazing!
The catamaran’s thoughtful multi-level design—with lower, mid, and upper decks—provided ample space to spread out, offering both sunny and shaded areas to suit individual preferences. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, a crucial feature given my chronic back issues.
What elevated the experience above all was the exceptional crew: our captain and chef delivered highly personalized service with warm, engaging personalities and genuine enthusiasm. Their attentiveness and creativity—particularly in the culinary offerings—made every moment delightful and effortless.
I wholeheartedly recommend this charter to anyone seeking a refined, rejuvenating, and deeply romantic vacation in the islands. It was an unforgettable celebration of time, love, and natural beauty.
