Eco, but practical. THE IDLER is a brand-new 2024 Sunreef 80 (24.4m) built around electric engines and integrated solar panels, aimed at guests who want quiet time underway without the usual noise and vibration.
Outdoor living wins. You get multiple real hangout zones: foredeck seating with a table for the easy apéritif slot, plus a flybridge set up with sun loungers and an aft dining area. Plenty of space. No jockeying for the “good” seat.
Water access, sorted. A beach club and hydraulic swim platform make getting in and out of the sea simple, and add an outdoor shower for the no-salt-in-the-salon crowd.
Toys for all ages. The watersports lineup is genuinely busy: a Williams Sport Jet 520 tender, 2 x Seabobs, an eFoil, 4 x paddleboards (with adult and children’s windsurf rigs), plus waterskis, a wakeboard, towables, snorkelling gear, and fishing equipment.
Sleeps eight in four. Accommodation is for 8 guests in 4 cabins, including a master with a king-size bed, plus additional cabins with queen-size beds, all with en-suite facilities and air conditioning.
