MARAE Yacht Description

  • Raising centreboard:
Access shallower anchorages that many yachts can’t reach, closer to quiet beaches.
  • 2 x Laser sailboats:
Hands-on sailing fun for guests, great for teens or confident beginners.
  • Upper salon full wet bar:
Cocktails with panoramic views, plus relaxed indoor lounging between swims.

Serious sailing, six guests. MARAE is a 33m (108ft) Alloy Yachts sailing yacht built in 2004 with refits noted in 2009, 2014, and 2020, set up to sleep 6 guests in 3 cabins. Ted Fontaine design, aluminum build, and the kind of performance pedigree you shortlist if sailing actually matters.

Shallow-water advantage. A raising centreboard means access to shallower anchorages that are simply off-limits to many yachts this size. More options, less compromise. Simple as that.

Two-salon living. The main salon keeps a classic feel with walnut paneling, cream and navy tones, and a proper dining area, while the upper salon adds a full wet bar, panoramic views, and seating that converts for movie time on the entertainment system.

Toys that make sense. The 5m Williams Turbo Jet tender handles the errands and beach runs, while two Laser dinghies let guests keep sailing even at anchor. Add waterskis, wakeboard, towables, inflatable kayak and paddleboards, snorkel and fishing gear, plus two mountain bikes for off-yacht breaks.

Cabin setup with perks. The master has a queen bed, office, mini gym with exercise bicycle, and even a private staircase up to the aft cockpit; the other cabins are a double and a twin with a Pullman, all with en-suite shower rooms. Family-friendly without feeling like a “kid boat.”
