Introduced by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht SUN DAZE is a 55 ft sailing catamaran. The highlights of SUN DAZE are her impeccable styling and interconnection with the sea. SUN DAZE spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the renowned boatbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2023. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.
SUN DAZE is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tasteful cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes provide a connection with the natural world outside.
The sailboat features 2x80HP Yanmar diesels 21.5Kw Onan Generator engines and a generator.
Accommodation
4 queen berth guest cabins each with a private en-suite electric head, stall shower and sink/vanity. The starboard aft cabin does not have a full shower, and has a wet head.All cabins have individually contract air-conditioning for each cabins comfort.

Main deck has a bright and airy main salon (fully air-conditioned) as the galley direct access to the forward cockpit lounge area.

He reads wind, swell, and crowded anchorages fast, so you get smooth passages, smart itineraries, and a captain who’s always one move ahead.- Degree in Nautical Sciences from Nautical University in Lisbon.
- Former Deck Officer in the Norwegian Merchant Navy on chemical tankers, seismic and ROV vessels in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic.
- RYA Yachtmaster and Ocean Skipper (Portuguese license) with STCW Instructor, GMDSS Operator and Dynamic Positioning Operator certifications.
- Certified in advanced First Aid, Firefighting, Helicopter Landing Officer and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET); holds ENG1 medical.
Kiki fires the galley like a focused restaurant pro, dropping bold, layered flavors that feel more like a city hotspot than a boat at anchor. Our group consisted of 4 couples. The moment we boarded this beautiful boat, we
knew we hit the jackpot, as we all smiled from ear to ear! Sun Daze is an immaculately
kept boat and she most definitely shines!
The captain Tiago and chef Kiki were gracious hosts throughout the week… they
worked HARD, making sure we had everything and anything we asked for. THEY truly
make the Sun Daze extra special!
Tiago was very accommodating when planning our itinerary. We had requested a few
specific stops that we wanted to make such as Anegada & Sandy Spit (Corona Island).
He also made suggestions along the way that made our trip spontaneous & exciting.
We always felt extremely safe with his sailing skills & knowledge. Tiago has a great dry,
sense of humor too!
Let’s talk food! Chef Kiki could most certainly be compared side by side with any five
star chef! She was the shining star for the foodies in the group. Her food was not only
delicious, but the presentation of each meal (including breakfast) was mouthwatering.
Serving 4 couples, with 4 different food expectations, couldn’t have been easy, but it
was obvious that Kiki took the time and effort to study our preference sheets to produce
a stellar menu for each meal. It was beyond exceptional. A few favorites: Banana
pancakes with Oreo butter, fresh avocado & eggs on toast, exquisite fruit boards, savory
New Zealand steak & shrimp, and my favorite… 8 incredibly unique homemade grilled
pizza’s served under the stars, at the bow of the boat!
Our group loved waking up each morning in a quiet cove with crystal clear, turquoise
water. Most days immediately after breakfast, we’d set off to a new destination enjoying
the beautiful BVI scenery along the way. Once anchored, the snorkeling or island
exploring began. Each day was more magical than the next!
It’s hard to put into words just how relaxing & fun this week was! Simply stated, we
can’t wait for our return to Sun Daze!

When said you have “pride” in your cooking, we knew what it may mean but we were not expecting Michelin star food quality and preparation every meal!! “Wow” words can’t really express the love you put into every meal you do, the details of every dish is what makes your dishes exceptional. Your preparation is hours of hard work and planning, this shows in the presentation of your dishes and the tastes of each cuisine was mouth-watering. We as a family will never forget your lobster vodka sauce pasta, your Asian fusion fish where you can taste the culture of Asia in every bite, the brioche you did on the first day we are still dreaming about the texture and taste, and the special “Kiki stores” is surely exceptional. We feel very lucky to have eaten such wonderful food made by Kiki, award winning chef! Thank you so much for sharing your cuisine and art with us. Thank you including our little Charlotte in your breakfast this morning, a memory we have captured on video for her.

One of the best trips I've ever been on! Pieter and Kiki made it so much fun. Even as a picky eater, Kiki made the BEST meals and was so creative and was also such an amazing friend. Pieter always brought positive energy to the boat and was always excited to teach us new things.
