Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like SERENITY, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($41,250 - $66,000), making the charter cost $206,250 to $231,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: David Laird
Ryan grew up far from the sea in Victoria Falls, so every mile he runs this yacht is fueled by a hard-won obsession with the ocean and a need to show guests how wild and easy life feels when you leave your land problems in the wake. He reads the weather, the water, and the room fast, tuning each day so you get maximum play and zero friction.
- 13 years of professional yachting experience.
- Background in surfing, sailing, kiting, diving, and ocean conservation.
Ian runs the deck like a tight, calm operation, turning your days in the Bahamas and Caribbean into clean, well-timed runs from toy to tender to sunset without you ever feeling the gears shift. He brings a quiet, steady presence that lets you push the adventure while he quietly keeps the edges sharp and safe.
- Started yachting in 2017 as captain/skipper on sailing yachts running week-long charters.
- Officer experience on motor yachts in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and United States.
Mathew is the guy who has you dialed in on the toys before you even ask, running the deck with that Coast Guard-bred instinct for safety wrapped in a laid-back Florida style that keeps the whole operation fun and fast. He turns fishing runs and watersports into straight-line, no-fuss action.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in the yachting industry.
- Raised in a military family with a Coast Guard captain father and extensive travel across the U.S.
Alex is the one who keeps the whole machine humming in the background so your trip feels effortless, turning hard engineering into smooth power and cold air and toys that always work. His road-trip leap into yachting shows in the way he chases down problems before you ever see them.
- Entered the yachting industry in 2013.
- Professional experience across the U.S. and Australia, with global cruising exposure.
Sandra runs the interior like a precision hospitality engine, reading what you want before you voice it and flipping the boat from family-casual to five-star in a heartbeat. Her roots in working fishing villages and polished yachts give her service that feels real, not staged.
- 10 years in the yachting industry on yachts from 100ft to 250ft.
- Background split between the US and Ireland, including time in a fishing village and sailing community plus seaside town Duxbury, MA.
Laikin brings kinetic, sports-field energy to guest service, flipping from crafted cocktails to in-water support without missing a beat, so your days feel charged and bright instead of staged. She leans into the unknown of each charter and makes that unpredictability work in your favor.
- Holds STCW certification.
- PADI Dive certified and trained bartender.
