Purpose Yacht Description
-
Extensive Inflatable Water Toys & Towable Tubes:
Perfect for family fun and laughter in the water with kids and adults alike onboard. -
Stand-Up Paddleboards with Kayak Seats (2 units):
Popular for exploring nearby islands and calm coves, doubling as single or tandem kayaks. -
Flybridge with Open-Air Lounge & Panoramic Views:
Ideal for romantic moments, cocktails, socializing, and enjoying breathtaking Caribbean scenery.
Purpose is what happens when a 50ft sailing catamaran decides it’s actually a floating social club. Huge flybridge lounge for sunset debriefs, oversized foredeck sunpads for lazy shade time, and an open salon–cockpit layout that runs like one big shared living space. This is a boat built around hanging out, not hiding out.
Space-to-people ratio is the real headline: 5 queen cabins for up to 10 guests, all with private en-suite bathrooms and temperature‑controlled A/C. Crew have their own quarters forward, so you get privacy along with service.
Food is not an afterthought. A dedicated chef runs a serious, globally influenced menu (Caribbean BBQ, Ethiopian night, taco night, surf & turf, plus fresh seafood and strong breakfast game). Most meals happen al fresco in the cockpit, with a galley pass‑through that turns the aft deck into your private restaurant.
Play mode is well covered without going full theme park. Think paddleboards that double as kayaks, tubes (donut and wing), kneeboard, inflatable toys, snorkel gear with underwater still camera, yoga mats, beach toys and a 12ft tender with 25hp outboard. Enough to keep adults and kids busy, not so much you need a map.
Behind the scenes, it’s quietly eco‑aware and competence‑heavy. Built 2014 and upgraded in 2022, PURPOSE runs sustainable practices (water purifier, solar, ocean‑friendly products) and is run by an experienced RYA Yachtmaster captain who’s sailed globally, plus a chef with serious flavor credentials. Result: a charter that feels relaxed and easy on the surface because the details are handled under the hood.

Reviews
Our captain, Florian, was incredibly accommodating. He was so thorough on instructions around the boat and picked a really diverse itinerary. He also chose anchorages that were within a short swim to excellent snorkeling. He pointed out things to us as we went along and was engaging and a very cheerful fellow.
And Michael his crew and chef made wonderful meals, snacks and desserts and we never had to lift a finger.
All in all it was a dreamy vacation made all the more so by having a well appointed cat, and an excellent captain and chef/crew. We’d follow them around the world if we could.“
All the best
Judy and Mike
Floria guided us to many wonderful sights as well as some private and quiet spots. Purpose is a terrific yacht and easily accommodated us
Prince Michael treated us to one great meal after another such that we did not even want to leave our yacht to eat elsewhere
R. Dobel
We had chosen the Grenadines as it is less crowded than the BVI and some slightly longer sailing stretches
Purpose was more than adequate for the waters and Florian took us to many beautiful anchorages as well as some of his private locations. Florian is also obviously very confident with his craft as he demonstrated many times that he can handle the yacht by himself
Our meals were also absolutely terrific. Chef Mike did and amazing job creating unique meals and presentations that we did not expect out on such a cruise. Most of us did not want to
Leave the yacht to even experiment dining ashore.
Dobel Group
What a great way to truly unwind for a week! Florian and Camille were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to make our week onboard the Purpose fantastic. There were four of us in total – Mom, Dad and two kids – and Florian was able to create the perfect itinerary for us from Nassau down to Staniel Cay and back. We hit the popular spots, but Florian also had a few hidden gems that he had found exploring that really stood out to us. To top it all off, Camille did a wonderful job with every meal and really made them special with extra touches along the way. We all went home with big smiles and are, like others, talking about our next visit!
Taylor and Melissa Cole
Our trip was amazing, thanks to the crew. Florian was fantastic. Our group ranged in age from 8-84 and we all loved our trip and have started talking about the next one. Florian paid special attention to each of us and helped us enjoy our time on Purpose. Highly recommend.
