The St Francis has a very different layout and she actually sails. Can do 11 knots in 15!! Captain Kendall White is a proper sailor - he was in the navy and has also raced a lot on monohulls.
Certified for USVI, BVI and the Spanish Virgin Islands! So if you want to explore a more quiet and raw area, this is a really cool opportunity.
The interior is something very different - beautiful varnished woodwork, so cozy and fun. Master cabin is like a high end cave with a high bed, an en-suite bathroom with a tub. The decor is homely, warm and romantic.
She was build in 2011 and she is really well kept - seeing her in person has really convinced me of her worth.
American Kari and Kendall White are really lovely crew - great hospitality. Offered a cold towel and a cold drink right away, and their passion for sailing and accommodating is genuine.
Kari cooks for all diets, vegan, gluten free whatever - she will accommodate.

PARADIGM SHIFT is a luxurious 50’ 2011 St. Francis catamaran featuring three private guest suites (two queens and one double), each with an en-suite head, electric toilet, separate shower, and vanity. The main salon includes a fully equipped galley and a comfortable dining area with a flat-screen TV for movie nights. The spacious cockpit is perfect for lounging and dining alfresco, while the wide forward deck and trampolines offer plenty of room for sunbathing. Ideal for two or three couples or families with children, Paradise Shift comes loaded with water toys including two stand-up paddleboards, a convertible SUP-to-kayak board, a large Bote Hangout Lounger, four Big Joe floating sling chairs, a towable tube, and a SubWing, all supported by a 14’ AB aluminum tender with a 40hp Honda for beach runs and on-water adventures.

She was completed by the ship builder St. Francis in 2011. An elegant refit was completed in Constantly-2021. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.
PARADIGM SHIFT is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The tasteful cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

My recent charter boat trip to the British Virgin Islands was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible experiences of my life, thanks in large part to our phenomenal crew, Captain Kendell and our amazing chef, Kari!
From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in for a treat. Captain Kendell navigated the stunning BVI waters with expert precision and a fantastic sense of humor, ensuring every stop was perfectly timed for maximum enjoyment. He truly knows all the best spots and made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the entire journey.
And then there's Kari... oh, the food! Every single meal was a culinary masterpiece. Seriously, if you're a food lover, Kari's cooking alone is reason enough to book this charter. From fresh, vibrant breakfasts to gourmet lunches and decadent dinners, each dish was prepared with passion and skill, using the freshest ingredients. We were constantly amazed by the variety and quality – it truly felt like dining at a five-star restaurant every day, but with the most breathtaking ocean views imaginable.

Every stop offered something unique, and Kendell ensured we had ample time to swim, snorkel, explore, or simply soak in the stunning surroundings.

Bonnie, Steve and the Paradigm Shift exceeded all expectations. This is not our first rodeo. We have enjoyed sailing in the BVI's many times but this was, by far, our best overall experience, even though Covid limited our cruising area. Bonnie and Steve knew where to take us to maximize our experience. Snorkeling off Culebra was a highlight. We will definitely be back on the Paradigm Shift!

We chartered it for a day for a work retreat with my New York office. Our group was 12. It was fantastic. The boat is new and spotless, Bonnie's food was outstanding (think high expectations for big-city foodies), and Steve was a great captain, making sure we went to the best places for our group and pulling out all the toys for us throughout the day (tubing, snorkel gear, SUPs, games, etc.)!
I have seen most of the charters in the VI so this review should save a lot of research time. If you like new and clean, high-quality food, the best layout of a catamaran I have seen, and a very professional and fun host couple, this is your boat. I will be taking my family on an overnight charter next.
