NO BAD IDEAS Yacht Description
-
Waterslide (FunAir) from the sundeck:
Big, all-ages fun on repeat, especially great for families and group charters. -
Lift eFoil (1x, V4):
The most popular new toy for flying above the water once you get the hang. -
Stabilizers at anchor and underway:
Sleep better at night and cruise more comfortably when seas get a bit choppy.
Two jacuzzis, actually. NO BAD IDEAS is a 160' Trinity motor yacht built in 1999 (delivered 2000 in some sources) and refit in 2024, set up for guests who want their water time and their lounge time in the same postcode. One Jacuzzi is on the sun deck, and the second is an infinity-style Jacuzzi on the swim platform. Close to the water. Convenient.
Deck life is sorted. The extended swim platform turns into the day’s HQ with easy in-and-out access, plus an inflatable jet-ski dock and beach setup when you want a basecamp that is not the main salon. Up top, the sun deck brings a shaded bar and dining area with space to actually stay outside for more than one round.
Toys for busy people. You get a proper toy box: 4 Sea-Doo jet skis, 4 Seabob F5s, Lift eFoil (V4), an inflatable FunAir slide from the sundeck, and an inflatable rockwall. Add two tenders including a 32' Intrepid 327 center console, and the group can split into “fast” and “still fast.”
Cabins with flexibility. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, with a full-beam on-deck master suite and five additional king staterooms, two of which convert to twins. Stabilizers at anchor and underway help keep things civilized, and Wi‑Fi plus air conditioning keep everyone comfortable between swims.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like NO BAD IDEAS, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($56,250 - $90,000), making the charter cost $281,250 to $315,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
NO BAD IDEAS Yacht Charter Price
| # of charter days | Base Price | APA (deposit for provisioning, fuel, docking fees, etc) | Total | Note | |

| 7 day charter | 225,000USD to 250,000USD | 45,000USD to 75,000USD | 270,000USD to 325,000USD | Standard charter rate, base for all calculations. | |
| 3 day charter | 112,500USD to 125,000USD | 22,500USD to 37,500USD | 135,000USD to 162,500USD | The usual formula is the 7 day charter rate divided by 6, times the number of days (3). Boat policy might differ. 225,000USD / 6 * 3 days = 112,500USD |
All prices are generated by a calculator and serve as a guide for new charterers. Any additional information of the Price Details section has priority over above. Availability is always subject to confirmation. Gratuity not included for it's discretionary character, usually 5%-25% of the Base Price.

Reviews
My wife and I, along with her friends, spent an absolutely incredible week aboard No Bad Ideas in the British Virgin Islands, and it was truly unforgettable.
The yacht itself is amazing - two hot tubs, a one-of-a-kind firepit that quickly became a favorite gathering spot, and an impressive lineup of water toys, including a slide that brought out everyone’s inner kid. The staterooms were spacious and comfortable, with fantastic beds that made it easy to recharge after full days on the water.
That said, we’ve always believed it’s the crew, not just the boat, that makes a charter exceptional, and the crew of No Bad Ideas was second to none. They were fun, engaging, and incredibly attentive, without ever being intrusive. Easily the best, most enjoyable crew we’ve experienced on a yacht. Their attention to detail was remarkable. They quickly picked up on everyone’s likes and dislikes, even ones that weren’t listed on preference sheets. In one case, a guest mentioned in passing that he didn’t like tomatoes, and from that moment on, every meal and salad for him was tomato-free. That level of awareness and care speaks volumes.
The food and drinks were completely over the top - beautifully prepared, delicious, and perfectly tailored to our group. More importantly, the crew genuinely seemed happy to do whatever we wanted or needed, always with great energy and professionalism. The crew truly made this trip special and memorable. No Bad Ideas delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Good morning!!! I just have to say - this has been such an amazing trip. & the crew - oh my gosh!!! I don't think we could've asked for anyone better (I don't think there is anyone better honestly!!!). They have all taken such good care of us & we've had SOOOO much fun with all of them!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for hooking us up with them & the boat!! ♡♡♡
Thank you for making this fantastic adventure for us! You have taken us to familiar and brave new areas of my favorite place on earth and I so appreciate the commitment all of you had to making this an incredible journey.
I want to thank you for the time and effort you put into making our fantastic race amazing - so much laughter. A special thanks to Ely for making food that I could eat and enjoy. We found every meal to be extraordinary... and to Paul for keeping those hot tubs going and the great tour of the workings of the yacht - you may have been 'the man behind the curtain' but we appreciated your interactions with us (most engineers haven't engaged)... to Bo, Tay, Suné for the exceptional service, the laughter and conversations... to Pete, Jack, Zack for all the set-ups, the banter and making it so easy for us to get around in these crystal blue waters... And to you Captain for the early morning cruising, your flexibility in the itinerary and showing us another side of these gorgeous islands.
But mostly, I want to thank you all for all your smiles and making us feel at home on this awesome yacht.
I hope we did not make too much work for you or cause too much trouble.
It was a pleasure getting to know you and my wish for all of you is that you follow your dreams - and dream big! May life take you on wild and exciting journeys! I speak for all of us in saying we wish you only the best of everything life has to offer!
P.S. I thought about hiding the tip all around the yacht with riddles and clues for you to find it - but I ran out of time.
I am delighted to share feedback after having a discussion with Mrs. I’m going to bullet point it as it is easier. We had a long conversation, she was very complimentary of everything:
-We had a great time
-The crew was awesome
-Not one weak leak in the crew, they were all terrific
-Very happy with service
-Chef Ely was incredible, “he really listened to me about what I wanted and it was fabulous “
-It is a beautiful yacht , A+, we loved the refit and the style
-Really enjoyed being anchored in only a few spots and exploring by tender
-Loved all of the adventures, the diving portion was terrific
This is their 6th charter and we talk a lot before and after so please know these are great compliments and feedback, also largest tip yet 😊 and of course I am happy to be an excellent reference anytime. Captain Jon and crew thank you for going above and beyond with the drinks and getting them on board, the treadmill exchange back and forth, etc. Please pass along my sincere thank you to all of the crew please.
What an amazing trip with an amazing staff - you all made it perfectly perfect. Thank you so much!
Guest Two:

Guest Three:

Guest Four:
Could not have asked for a more amazing week - perfect crew and wonderful memories!
Guest Five:
This exceeded every expectation. The crew made this experience exceptional and were so gracious and willing to help us do anything. Re-entry will be difficult.
It was incredible! Obviously a different trip from Italy as we had the kids vs 6 adult couples. The boat was beautiful and very well laid out. All of the spaces were very comfortable and attractively designed. The tenders and toys were all great, and we used them all extensively. But as I found out in Italy, it’s the crew that makes the trip and that was certainly the case here. Everyone was amazing! Jon, Pete, Zach and Jack were so good, as were Xan, Bo, Suné and Tayla. Chef Warren absolutely killed it with the food…and we ate every single meal on the boat. He even had the girls help him with every dessert. We even got to see Divan a good bit, which is surprising for how little we saw the engineers on Broadwater.
It really was a perfect trip…we cannot come up with anything we would change. I highly recommend this boat and crew for future charters…especially at that price. I think you’ve got a gem of a boat and especially the crew in this one.
Thank you for all the attention, you are the best crew. I personally had a great time and lots of thanks to you all!
Guest two:
