Captain: Keith Allen

Cpt. Keith Allen

Keith has always had an adventurous spirit, inherited from an extremely nomadic family, mostly spread between Kenya, the U.K., U.S.A. and of course Australia, where he grew up. He has been fortunate enough to have been raised as a well travelled youth which enabled him to grow into someone who can build rapport and friendships with people from many different walks of life and cultures. A trait invaluable when considering the multicultural and close-knit conditions living and working aboard a yacht.

Keith has sailed around all of the windward isles, from St Maarten to Grenada; the Dutch Caribbean, Panama, the Andalusian coast of Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Croatia and the Greek Islands in the Saronic Gulf of the Mediterranean. He has also spent time working on a superyacht that sailed up the east coast of the United States from Fort Lauderdale to Rhode Island as well as around Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard but realized his heart and true passion was in sailing and smaller boats. Keith's favorite part about skippering on yachts is hunting for unique bays and the little hidden gems on the islands; from the best beach bars to reefs full of life that can only be reached by boat.

Keith is a certified divemaster and free diver and loves hunting for fresh spiny lobster to serve, butterflied and grilled in his signature style paired with one of his craft cocktails. A passionate photographer, he loves providing memories to guests that will last a lifetime and offers several packages for guests to choose from to ensure no moment is missed. Whether it’s chauffeuring guests to dinner by tender, or towing them with tube or wakeboard, you are in safe and capable hands with Keith at the helm.

Thank you for making this last minute decision one of the best ones we've ever made!
Keith & Mel, 2020 was the perfect year to totally forget, but you totally eliminated any chance of that! Our trip exceeded every expectation. You guys are the perfect hosts, guides, cooks, bartenders and friends to our very happy families. Thank you so much for making this last minute decision one of the best ones we've ever made! Good luck in all your future yachting and life endeavors.

What amazing hosts! We Are Overwhelmed With How Well You Cared For Us This Wonderful Week...
Keith & Mel, what amazing hosts you are! Our family had an incredible week on the water with you. You made everything fun, active, relaxing and engaging in a seamless fashion - which is not always easy on a boat or in the islands. The balance of your personality was perfect... and suited everyone in our group from kids to adults. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Mel - how you pull off those meals is just a wonder - absolutely delicious and the presentation off the charts. Usually - "food" loses steam at the end of a charter and yours just kept getting better and better... and your demeanor and always pleasant smile just set a comfortable tone on the boat & making everyone feel at ease. Keith - how you know all you do about the boat (and fixing-too) and the area is just astonishing. You brought us to. ays that we just fell in love with and made sure all our varied interests and activities were met... which was far from easy!
Thank you both for making our week with our friends so special - we look forward to staying in touch & charters ahead with you... and you now have friends who would love to host you in Nashville! - Ron, Laura, Mark & Sarah Francis

Keith and Mel,
We are overwhelmed with how well you cared for us this wonderful week in the islands you both are truly gifted with service and hospitality. You worked endlessly throughout the week and remained cheerful and always had a quick wit. Keith, thank you for finding us great areas to snorkel, dragging us around for wake boarding and keeping the cocktails not too sweet or spicy. Mel, you cooked with a passion. Our bellies were always full and our palates excited to see what wonderful "surprise" you had whipped up. It truly was a wonderful week with the two of you and we will look forward to seeing you in the future. Much admiration and love, Michael, Morgan, Chelsea and Ty aka "quesadilla record holder"

Trip Of A Lifetime...
Trip of a lifetime... turtles, rays, fish, coral, mongoose and even a goat! The water and islands were beautiful. Captain Keith was amazing! He can fix anything while staying so calm. I felt so safe with him... extremely knowledgable sailor and knows so much about marine life. Mel was amazing as well. She cooked 5-star meals in a tiny kitchen. She was also an incredible first mate helping Keith with docking etc.
I would recommend this trip with this crew to anyone!

I cannot say enough about this beautiful experience. We were in such great hands with Mel and Keith. They were cool under pressure and always delightful to be around. Mel's food was delicious and beautifully presented. Keith was always making sure everyone was happy and well taken care of, while also keeping us safe. We enjoyed every minute and hope to return with our kids to do it again!

Scarlett and I loved every second of the trip. You and Mel were fantastic in every way. I hope our paths cross again someday. Please look us up anytime you're stateside, especially Louisiana.

p.s. Come se us in NOLA for Mardi Gras!

WOW! The trip was one of the best experiences ever! Paul and I loved all the food that Mel prepared. The attention to detail was impeccable. Keith was super professional and knowledgeable. Overall, I rate this trip a 10 out of 10. I can't wait to come back and sail with Mel and Keith again! PLEASE come visit us in New Orleans.

To our lord and savior and chef Mel chef / first mate. Great trip so much fun, Ellen and I had a blast. You and Mel were fantastic and so fun to hangout with. AC worked great and food was excellent!
