The winner of the highly prestigious and adrenalin fueled TransPac (CA-HI) Race, GAIA is now available to charter for groups of up to eight in four cabins. For those who want to experience the excitement of sailing of one of the fastest Gunboats ever built (speeds of over 20kts are not unusual), GAIA is the yacht for you. Reconfigured for charter comfort and with a highly professional crew ready to provide estimable care and gourmet meals.

Represented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht GAIA is a 66 ft sailing catamaran. GAIA spends the winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Gunboat in 2015. A well-done refit was completed in 2021. The well-planned yacht layout features 3 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

GAIA is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The modern cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

The sailboat features 2 18kw electric drives 2 Generators engines and a generator.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like GAIA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price ($6,800 - $11,900), making the charter cost $40,800 to $45,900. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
