Jeff Hurd and his chef/mate welcome you aboard DRUMBEAT 1 for the vacation of a lifetime!
Jeff hails from Colorado where he was born and raised. Jeff has a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology where he spent two years living with traditional cultures throughout the world. Before coming to the beautiful Caribbean, he held a faculty position at Colorado State University where he made documentary films for five years. He is the owner and captain of DRUMBEAT 1 and holds a 100 ton Master Mariners License. He is also a PADI certified scuba diver and private pilot. Jeff’s enjoys sharing with guests his extensive knowledge of the islands and his many adventures!

She helped dock, more, anchor, winch the sheets, clean cabins, prepare fantastic appetizers and meals, etc. We couldn't ask for more.<br /> Drumbeat was very comfortable and well maintained.<br /> Any maintenance that was done was in the middle of the night like a well managed resort. 5 stars.<br /> Itinerary was excellent. Captain Jeff knew all the great secluded snorkeling spots and took advantage of them when winds were above 15 knots. He had safety in mind.<br /> There was plenty of snorkeling and dive equipment on board.
