Advertised by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht MISS SUMMER is a 45 ft sailing catamaran. MISS SUMMER spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the famous yacht builder Lagoon in 2014. The well-planned yacht layout features 3 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.

MISS SUMMER is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

Crew Information

Captain: Per Skogsberg

Per, also called "Captain Swede", has traded the cold and dark waters of Sweden to the wonderful waters of the Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands. He is the captain on board Miss Summer.
Lina has a more pronounce friendly name and is simply called Lina. She will be your chef on board Miss Summer, and stand-in captain if needed. Lina is a certified yacht chef, trained at Ashburton Chefs Academy in UK, and she will do her very best to give all guests a nice food experience.

They are both social persons and love to meet new people.
Lina started sailing during childhood, and Per got hocked when they started sailing together over 15 years ago. They first came to the Caribbean in 2015. Together they have had the pleasure to sail the Caribbean waters up and down, but mainly been sailing in the British Virgin Island. Which since 2019 is their home base. Per and Lina bought Miss Summer in May 2019 and has since then been doing crewed charter in BVI.
They will gladly guide you through the islands and take you to the places on your bucket list and to all the other beautiful places you didn't know about. On board they will give you a touch of Scandinavia while you are sailing the Caribbean waters.

Before transitioning into this profession Per worked as a business developer for many years and as a business coach with early startups. Lina has a science in engineering degree and has run a project management and consultancy company for more than 15 years.
Both are certified captains and will at all times put your safety on board first! However, that has never made them fail in giving their guests a wonderful and memorable charter.

Together they hold the following certifications and have passed tests and/or training for:
• Coastal Yacht Master
• Inshore Yacht Master
• Practical boat training incl. darkness diploma
• BVI boat master
• Yacht chef certificate, Ashburton Chefs Academy
• STCW – basic safety. Including Personal Safety, Fire, Survival and First Aid.

Well known to be spacious for its size, with multiple areas to enjoy, like the front cockpit sofa, the trampolines, the sun beds or sofa on the flybridge and not to forgot the aft cockpit that offer good shade sitting area for outdoor dining. The 3 guest cabins are airy and bright, with comfortable queen size beds, able to accommodate up to 6 guests. All cabins are individually air-conditioned and has separate bathrums with fully electric toilets. Miss Summer is looked after and being very well cared for by the owners, which is also the crew on board. Always kept in tip-top conditions, with continues upgrades and updating. Miss Summer has gone through extensive upgrades and modifications during 2023-2024. The crew has been sailing the British Virgin Island since 2015 and know all the highlights and hidden gems. On Miss Summer you will feel at home and safe while cruising the beautiful waters of BVI, enjoying cocktails and gourmet meals served on board.

Lina is a certified yacht chef, trained at Ashburton Chefs Academy in UK, and she will do her very best to give all guests a nice food experience.<br /> <br /> They are both social persons and love to meet new people.<br /> Lina started sailing during childhood, and Per got hocked when they started sailing together over 15 years ago. They first came to the Caribbean in 2015. Together they have had the pleasure to sail the Caribbean waters up and down, but mainly been sailing in the British Virgin Island. Which since 2019 is their home base. Per and Lina bought Miss Summer in May 2019 and has since then been doing crewed charter in BVI.<br /> They will gladly guide you through the islands and take you to the places on your bucket list and to all the other beautiful places you didn't know about. The Charterer (and all guests) are responsible for meeting government requirements for entry into the BVI, at the expenses of the Charterer. In the event entry permit is not granted by reason of not meeting government entry requirements, and not by reason of the BVI is closed to visitors, this Agreement shall be deemed canceled by Charterer. <br /> The Charterer is responsible to provides proof of compliance prior to boarding the yacht.<br /> 5. In the event the Charterer (or any guests) show symptoms of illness or become ill the charter will be deemed cancelled by Charterer. A travel insurance is highly recommended.<br /> 6. In the event that a Crew member becomes ill, the crew member may be replaced by other crew (if needed to continue the charter) or the Charter will be deemed cancelled by the Owner. <br /> 7. SCUBA: The yacht offers Rendezvous diving only<br /> 8. Marina fees are not included.<br /> 9. The provided snorkel gear looked brand new, and was top quality equipment. The boat was also looked brand new, was very nice, and had plenty of space. We met Lina & Per just outside of Tortola pier park for a private day sailing with a party of 12, including some children as young as 4. Lina & Per were/are super friendly and accommodating. They provided a delicious light lunch, snacks, and lots of different beverages. The Painkiller drinks for adults were really tasty. The provided snorkel gear looked brand new, and was top quality equipment. The boat was also looked brand new, was very nice, and had plenty of space. We saw lots of turtles, corals, tropical fish, and sea caves. Lina & Per gave us a perfect day of snorkeling and fun. He is the captain on board Miss Summer. <br /> Lina has a more pronounce friendly name and is simply called Lina. She will be part of the crew or act as your captain when needed.<br /> Lina has been sailing since childhood and Per got hocked 15 years ago, when they started sailing together home in Sweden. They first came to the Caribbean in 2015 and bought their first boat there in 2017. Since then they have had the pleasure to sail the Caribbean waters up and down. Mainly in the British Virgin Islands, which since 2019 is their home base.<br /> They are both social persons and like to meet new people. They will gladly guide you through the islands and take you to the places you wish. Onboard they will give you a touch of Scandinavia while you are sailing the Caribbean waters.<br /> Earlier Per worked many years as a business developer and coach with early start ups and Lina has run a project management and consultancy company.<br /> Both of them are qualified as captains and will at all times put your safety on board first!
