Represented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht GYPSY PRINCESS is a 45 ft sailing catamaran. GYPSY PRINCESS spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was completed by the famous yacht builder Lagoon in 2012. A succesful refit was fulfilled in 2018. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.

GYPSY PRINCESS is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The sailboat features 2 54HP diesels 11Kw generator brand new 2018 engines and a generator.

Quentin’s career in sailing began as an instructor as he enjoyed teaching his knowledge for sea and sail to students. This launched his professional career in the yachting industry. With 11 years of experience as a captain on yachts; Quentin has sailed some of the most beautiful seas in the world; including the South Pacific and in the Caribbean sharing his passion and love of the sea with his guests. Quentin is adept at providing the perfect balance of fun and adventure to guests creating a lifetime of memorable experiences.

Marine’s passion for cooking extends across the cuisines of French, Italian and Asian influences. With a focus on provisioning fresh products from local markets guests are assured to have a wonderful culinary experience. A professional French chef with 7 years of experience in the yachting industry, Marine also enjoys mixing delightful cocktails for her guests. When it’s time to explore the beautiful anchorages that dot the Caribbean landscape, Marine enjoys sharing her passion for sea life with her guests in the crystal blue waters that dazzle the islands.

New Year 2024/25

What was the highlight of your charter? For the adults, it was the boat and Quentin and Marine. They were the best crew we've sailed with and were amazing with the kids. We loved sharing this vacation with our kids and being with family for a week. The kids absolutely loved the whole week.

Favorite memory? Seeing a turtle while snorkeling with Marine and Quentin. They snorkeled with us at the Indians and that was SO awesome! Two of our kids swam through the underwater tunnel with Quentin as their guide. We never would have done that without Quentin and Marine snorkeling with us.
Best things about your crew? Where to start?? They were so friendly and personable and we immediately felt at ease. Marine had exceptional food and hospitality- she's someone you are sad to leave and want to stay friends with. You can tell they both love sailing, and Quentin loved sharing all of his knowledge and experiences with us. They were both so easy to get along with and made sure that our comfort was a priority.
We would 100% love to sail again with Quentin and Marine, be it the BVI or wherever else they end up.

Great weather.
Quentin communicated clearly our plans and was very accommodating.
Nice mix of motoring and sailing.
Boat was perfect - lots of space, clean, sleeping arrangements were great.
Lots of good snorkeling, 6 of 7 days. Felt very safe.

We had 4 or 5 meals off boat which was a nice break and the right balance
Best 7 days of food of our lives - homemade everything, great quality, great variety, etc. Marine is a spectacular cook.
Good water sports - tubing, skiing, skim boards. Saw some other yachts with Sea Scooters. That would be a nice addition”

February 2022

What a wonderful week we had on Gypsy Princess. A beautiful boat that is so well kept we were impressed from the moment we received our welcome champagne, and appetizers to sitting down to our first meal. The boat was so comfortable and roomy, and so many nice places to sit and have drinks, and just relax. This was a wonderful gift and worlds away from our professional lives.

Quentin and Marine were charming, helpful, and so attentive to everything we wanted. We visited some of the most beautiful bays, spent time in the water. Marine accompanied us on some of the snorkels, and she was able to point out some fish and coral’s that would have escaped our vision. We believe she doubles as a mermaid! While we were thinking that we would have had one or two dinners on land, after sampling her cuisine we decided to stay on board for dinners as no restaurants could possibly compete with the meals that we had, on Gypsy Princess, Not to mention the wine parings! We would caution you on the potent cocktails that Marine creates they were delicious! Pretty to look and delicious to drink.

Sailing was wonderful. Quentin is surely an accomplished Sailor, and was so patient explaining to us, and answering for us questions about sailing, and technique. He even let my husband sail as much as he wanted to. As a civil engineer, I am always working, so our short time on Gypsy Princess was a pleasure every single moment. We look forward to the time that we can come back again and sail together on this wonderful boat Thank you Marine and Quentin for an unforgettable week.

I don’t know where to begin…..After so many re bookings for this trip we weren’t sure if we would ever get to come and experience Gypsy Princess. But we did!!
It was worth the wait 💖
We couldn’t have picked a better boat & crew. The experience of these 9 days will be talked about by our family for years to come. Ben & Owen took a little time to warmup but once they did they were sold.
The snorkel adventures, the tube rides and learning to water ski! Seeing sharks, turtles, stingrays & jellies. We can’t thank you enough for the care you took with all our meals & giving the boys their ‘special’ meals were so appreciated.
The movies nights were a huge hit! Jared enjoyed exploring the wreck in Anegada. The attention to all the details have made this trip so special. We loved learning about sailing and navigation. The history of the Islands, Pirates and local info was fascinating.

BVI Only charter February 2021

Awesome trip, and despite some paperwork, (which is much easier than filling out a credit card application) the entry in and out of Tortola was excellent. Planning on going back early March. Those that were handling the testing where all professional; very clean, and for the most part efficient. Testing on Tortola was quick/testing in Virgin Gorda a bit slower, but still clean, and results came back quickly.
The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves.

The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine.

I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.

Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. From pick up, to drop off, to testing, and to everything in between you guys were amazing.

I have already told several of my friends that the trip on the Gypsy Princess is a bucket list adventure and I hopefully will be sailing again with you in the future.

- Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Beyond accommodating.

-Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The GP is stunning. 5 star all the way. The crew kept it squeaky clean from the get go all the way up until departure. Surprisingly the cabins were spacious and comfy.

- Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. No problems at all. Beautiful breeze throughout the day with the windows open and nice and cool at night with the AC.

-Was the food good and well presented?
The food was on a whole other level. It was better then any 5 star restaurant I have been to. The service we received will be hard to ever match up to. The food was divine and the selections were endless.

-Did you like the area you sailed?
The US Virgin Islands and The British Virgin Islands are gorgeous. Unlike any other area of the world.

- Additional comments on your charter?
I have never sailed nor been to the VI prior to this vacation. This is hands down the best vacation I have ever been on and will be nearly impossible to out do. I have no one complaint about this trip. The staff, the boat, and the location were marvelous!! This trip is 5 star all the way. The attention to detail and the planned excursions and day trips that were provided by the staff were something out of this world.

Planning on going back early March. Those that were handling the testing where all professional; very clean, and for the most part efficient. Testing on Tortola was quick/testing in Virgin Gorda a bit slower, but still clean, and results came back quickly. <br /> The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves. <br /> <br /> The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine. <br /> XXX<br /> <br /> The crew of Gypsy Princess,<br /> I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.<br /> <br /> Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. Where to start?? They were so friendly and personable and we immediately felt at ease. Marine had exceptional food and hospitality- she's someone you are sad to leave and want to stay friends with. A beautiful boat that is so well kept we were impressed from the moment we received our welcome champagne, and appetizers to sitting down to our first meal. The boat was so comfortable and roomy, and so many nice places to sit and have drinks, and just relax. This was a wonderful gift and worlds away from our professional lives. <br /> <br /> Quentin and Marine were charming, helpful, and so attentive to everything we wanted. We visited some of the most beautiful bays, spent time in the water. Marine accompanied us on some of the snorkels, and she was able to point out some fish and coral’s that would have escaped our vision. We believe she doubles as a mermaid! While we were thinking that we would have had one or two dinners on land, after sampling her cuisine we decided to stay on board for dinners as no restaurants could possibly compete with the meals that we had, on Gypsy Princess, Not to mention the wine parings! Planning on going back early March. Those that were handling the testing where all professional; very clean, and for the most part efficient. Testing on Tortola was quick/testing in Virgin Gorda a bit slower, but still clean, and results came back quickly. <br /> The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves. <br /> <br /> The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine. <br /> XXX<br /> <br /> The crew of Gypsy Princess,<br /> I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.<br /> <br /> Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. Planning on going back early March. Those that were handling the testing where all professional; very clean, and for the most part efficient. Testing on Tortola was quick/testing in Virgin Gorda a bit slower, but still clean, and results came back quickly. <br /> The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves. <br /> <br /> The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine. <br /> XXX<br /> <br /> The crew of Gypsy Princess,<br /> I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.<br /> <br /> Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. It was better then any 5 star restaurant I have been to. The service we received will be hard to ever match up to. Planning on going back early March. Those that were handling the testing where all professional; very clean, and for the most part efficient. Testing on Tortola was quick/testing in Virgin Gorda a bit slower, but still clean, and results came back quickly. <br /> The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves. <br /> <br /> The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine. <br /> XXX<br /> <br /> The crew of Gypsy Princess,<br /> I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.<br /> <br /> Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. The crew kept it squeaky clean from the get go all the way up until departure. Surprisingly the cabins were spacious and comfy. <br /> <br /> - Was the yacht well ventilated? <br /> Yes. No problems at all. Beautiful breeze throughout the day with the windows open and nice and cool at night with the AC.<br /> <br /> -Was the food good and well presented? <br /> The food was on a whole other level. It was better then any 5 star restaurant I have been to. The service we received will be hard to ever match up to. The food was divine and the selections were endless.<br /> <br /> -Did you like the area you sailed? <br /> The US Virgin Islands and The British Virgin Islands are gorgeous. Unlike any other area of the world. <br /> <br /> - Additional comments on your charter? <br /> I have never sailed nor been to the VI prior to this vacation. This is hands down the best vacation I have ever been on and will be nearly impossible to out do. I have no one complaint about this trip. The staff, the boat, and the location were marvelous!!
