Offered by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht DANTE is a 54 ft sailing catamaran. The most attractive features of DANTE are her well-chosen interiors and interconnection with the sea. DANTE spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was completed by the ship builder Bali Catamarans in 2023. The spacious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.

DANTE is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it is where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The modern cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

3 Queen en suite cabins and one twin double cabin for guests. Crew takes the starboard aft cabin. Crew are willing to change to the twin double cabin (midship) for $1,000 fee.

Captain: Brad Needham

Capt. Brad
As a North Carolina native, one of Brad’s earliest memories is sailing with his father in the Pamlico Sound on the family boat, a 12’O’day Widgeon. By age ten, he could singlehandedly sail the family boat, and he spent many summers attending sailing camp, ultimately joining the staffas an instructor by age sixteen. He continued teaching sailing while attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, sharing his passion by helping others learn the craft. Having graduated from N.C. State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, he also has a keen awareness of the inner workings of many vessel systems. His combination of formal engineering training and real-world troubleshooting experience means he's equally comfortable consulting technical manuals or improvising solutions when the unexpected inevitably occurs on the water. Brad also has a strong background in hospitality, having worked in both front and back of house positions in numerous hotels, restaurants and bars while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Brad worked as an engineer for a private company in Homer, Alaska, traveling throughout the U.S. and internationally to Turkmenistan for border security installations, but was soon reacquainted with his need to be on the water after taking a vacation cruising around Florida on a friend’s 28’Cape Dory. This prompted a career change into charter fishing boats in Alaska, and subsequently multiple boat deliveries along the Inside Passage, and throughout the Caribbean. With over 40,000 NM under his belt, spanning from the Atlantic coast, the rugged north Pacific and the Virgin Islands, Brad is an accomplished captain and enjoys sharing his experiences with others.




Chef Zoe
Growing up in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, Zoe developed a natural affinity for water, spending summers enjoying fishing trips, water sports, and wilderness canoeing. The family story goes that her love for fine foods began with her first ever bite of solid food as a baby: fresh homemade focaccia. Since she can remember, cooking and serving food to loved ones has been a passion and deep source of joy. With a background in a family-owned community newspaper, Zoe gained valuable experience in customer service, management, and organization. These skills translate perfectly to her role as mate and chef. Her fine arts education enhances her culinary presentations, where she combines technique with creativity to deliver meals that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Zoe's international travels have always centered around exploring local cuisines, enriching her diverse cooking style.

When the publishing industry began changing, Zoe sought new horizons and made the bold decision to drive to Alaska sight unseen. After her first day working on a charter fishing boat in Alaska, she knew she had found a special calling working on the water, and worked on a variety of vessels in Alaska ranging from 28’to 65’. Now having earned her captain's license, she continues to expand her maritime knowledge with every voyage, which includes vessel deliveries from the Virgin Islands to both Grenada and Florida.
Brad and Zoe met in Alaska almost 9 years ago (for a funny story, ask how!) and they've been working on charter vessels, both independently and as a team since then. They are happiest when on the water, whether it’s fishing or sharing good food and laughter with new and old friends alike. ​

Wow! I don’t know where to begin! The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. The amenities on the boat are top notch, and of course the islands and scenery are beautiful; the hosts Brad and Zoe are the shining stars. We felt like welcome special guests at all times. They were ever present when needed and quietly in the background when we were relaxing. The crew is so important on this sort of vacation, and in that regard PurelyBlu is just perfect and easy. Anyone who boats will understand that there are many variables that can derail plans, but we never felt anything was a bit of trouble or out of reach. Cruising the islands on PurelyBlu for a week was a perfect vacation! Captain Brad and Zoe made the experience — I can't imagine having anyone take better care of us! I'm sure I gained 5lbs from Zoe's wonderful cooking, but it was worth it! Brad helped plan our days which included snorkeling, diving, sightseeing, eating & drinking!! Whatever we wanted — they were very hospitable and accommodating! The boat was always pristine and well maintained. I'm hoping I get to do this again with them sometimes — I am so thankful my son and family included me on this wonderful trip!

We had a beautiful week on PurelyBlu. The British Virgin Islands are beautiful and Brad and Zoe were experts at navigating the days of our trip. Where to begin...
It's hard to know where to begin but please sit back and enjoy this note almost as much as we enjoyed our trip with Kelsey and Cassie!

Our very first adventure chartering a yacht and this set the standard for all future charters.

From the first call with Kelsey, about a week before departure, we knew we were in good hands...friendly hands...someone who wanted to make this trip special...and boy did she ever.

We arrived in St. Thomas with a text from Kelsey that a car had been arranged to take us to the dock.  (Already, things are being taken care of for us).  Then, we met Kelsey...this happy, warm and caring young woman greeting us with open arms and hugs.  We were instant friends.  We came aboard and met the DELICIOUS Cassie...the chef of chefs.  A brief tour, unpacking, and then the start of 6 unbelievable days beginning with special drinks and appetizers.

Our first dinner was 5 star and it only kept getting better and better.  Cassie managed to make meals that were unique and delicious and beautiful to look at....AND, she navigate around dietary restrictions while managing to serve everyone at the same time.  I gained 8 pounds in 6 days.....I hold Cassie deliciously responsible.

Every day brought a new adventure.  Kelsey guided us through the days activities after breakfast each morning.  We were in her capable and creative hands.  Always going someplace interesting (she knows everything about every inch of the BVI and USVI).

This was an anniversary cruise and birthday cruise gift for my 75 year old husband. These two women made this a trip we will cherish and never forget.  We are already looking into more charters as long as we can be with Kelsey and Cassie, since they are the gold standard and why would we want anyone else.

Oh, and Rachel, the rep for the boat....what a delight.  Navigating me through every step until we settled on the right boat and crew.  She made this first-time adventure something we will HAVE to repeat.

Thank you all.  I could go on and on with every detail but I think you get the picture.  The Kelsey and Cassie show is the only show in town.  I'm still smiling (although 8 pounds heavier).

Our girls were in awe. They had the absolute best time. They kept saying that they couldn’t believe how beautiful this is. It was a trip of a lifetime at their age.

Colin and Alicia LOVED IT. They said it is the “most bada** thing they have ever done”.

Mindy and Jabez were absolutely great. Captain Jabez was so confident and was just so grounded, a good head on his shoulders and made us all feel super comfortable. When he wasn’t doing his job he was helping Mindy and asked if he needed anything to drink etc. They were an incredible team. The food was fantastic, and beautifully presented! We looked forward to every single meal. (They also loved the SA meal Jabez prepared) 😊

Jabez was great about getting the girls and ourselves up to do activities. Mindy took the kids over one day to Bitter End and hung out with the kids before the adults came over. It was so sweet of her and the girls loved it. They would hang out if we asked them to hang out but also knew when to give space. There was lots of sailing and we felt like we covered so much ground! Jabez was full of great suggestions. The crew even bought them a map and Jabez drew out their route!

14-50 years old and EVERYONE on the boat had an incredible trip.
Can't wait to do it again!
